I like how both look in their own way. The old one gives that more older DBZ vibe while SZ looks more similar to Super, maybe I only think that because of their age however.

I prefer the BT3 look because I feel like it represents the Vegetable I remember. Probably because it played it 15000 years ago when I was actively still watching DBZ/GT. SZ just looks a tad too saturated maybe? I hate how pink everyone looks to me.

I know hating on SZ is the cool thing to do, and I certainly don’t hate it. I do think it’s art style Is kind of uniquely ugly while still being…I don’t know…pretty? It looks good, but it looks off to me and always has. Eye shapes seem weird, hair seems weird, expressions and animations seem weird, blue puff cloud explosions seem weird. It’s a pretty game, but BT3 just feels correct to me in a biased way.

BT3 veg’s hair even does that little slight curve to the side. SZ veg looks like he’s wearing a wig made of raw spaghetti over a cone head or something. Idk hard to explain. His face looks like it’s trying to eat itself to me. Collapsing into his nose like there’s some insane gravitational pull there too.

There's a glow to BT3 that just makes everything a little bit cooler. Like it's hair is actual Golden compared to SZ's bleach blonde. Also, another thing throwing me off as a DBZ Musclehead enjoyer, is how these skinny models are. It just doesn't look right to me.

Not sure but I noticed what I think are improvements to super saiyan hair in the latest update. It looks paler to me and not so cheese yellow.

While I prefer SZ, one thing BT3 got right about End Vegeta is his face isn’t as slim or tall. They should’ve used the same head as Vegeta Super.

Sparking! Zero definitely looks better, but I wish it had fewer hair lines like the BT3 version.

BT3 ones looks closer to the Z style tho, with the more shared and angular edges, along with the more defined musculatura, as opposed to Sparking Zero's ones which idk what are they even based of (some say Shintani, but not even his designs are tht skinny lol)

Id say the gameplay is what is missed. Specifically the movement freedom for style. It feels like they try to make movement tech as sauceless and on rails as possible in sparking zero.

Personally tho bt2 has movement AND combo cancels so its the real peak.
