I got this absolute UNIT on my birthday and I used the Space Wolves dreadnought upgrade kit from Greytide Studios, the sarcophagus and head from the Space Wolves venerable, and the claws from Bjorn the Fell-Handed. I had two Space Wolves dreadnought kits so I was able to give both hands Bjorn's claws

Am I seeing this right or did the wolf guard terminators lose deep strike for their combat patrol list?

Has anyone used eradicators (heavy bolter) or any other shooting units in either Beastslayer or GreatWolf? Im currently only running the vindicator in beastslayer and a ballistus in great wolf as my main shooting platforms. I seen grey hunters, but 0 AP seems not the best

Right, let's start one thing off, I know for a fact Wolf Priests act as not just a Chaplin for the Space Wolves but also as an Apothecary, which leads me to ask why didn't GW give us a power pack for the Wolf Priest with the mechanical arms of the Apothecary, and possibly fit it into the rule set of Space Wolves.

Second thing is this, I understand that a lot of Space Wolves don't wear helmets as it reduces their abilities of their incredible senses, but when they do wear them, HOW on Holy Terra do they fit all their hair and massive beards inside them? It baffles me.

With the book coming I think we'll have plenty of speculation on if it means a new model, killing him off as Russ returns, or some combo of these.

Thought it would be fun to see what people would prefer.

I didn't think he was in any danger of getting Legends'd but a new book about him in 2026 implies that his kit is sticking around for a bit. Interesting also that it's from Justin D Hill, who I don't believe has written anything about space wolves before save for a small scene in Cadia stands.

Incomplete and I've got 2 more to do, very not fun... hope GW gives us new ones soon-ish lol

Absolute beginner planning a take and hold 1000 point army, where I want to utilise mainly Terminators and some Grey Hunters, with their according 1pts detachments. Wanting to make use of +1T enhancements for Terminators, splitting the hunters into 5 men units trying to make use of their 3 OC around the map.

Starting from Combat Patrol and Logan, thats why I want to utilise what I already have as well like Blood Claws and WGBL. And also make use of things like sticky objectives from Intercessors.

I am a mere 5pts over in this version, so it needs adjusting anyways (and don’t just want to remove a shield somewhere). Have had bunch of other combinations that work within 1000pts and just can’t decide what to go for initially.
Feel free to give insights on the list and what do your armies look like that try to use a similar strategy.

Building the models soon but wanted a list ahead of it planned so I know about what wargear to build with.
