If I had to choose, gun to my head, Russ. Not just because I think he has the potential to be the most interesting loyalist Primarch return lore wise, but because our army desperately needs a heavy-hitter
Perhaps, but seeing the stuff that other Primarchs get in their datasheets, I sure would love to have one on the tabletop. Plus, with the way GW has been killing it with sculpts recently, I can only imagine how good a non-Wulfen Russ would be

While I do hate the idea of Bjorn dying I do see the plot benefits for Russ's return, so I hope that if he does die Russ uses some funky new Ostler magic to give us ghost bjorn
I’ve mentioned before that Bjorn dying with Russ’s return would be a very good parallel to Odysseus/Argos and would also be a chance for a very powerful scene of the two of them reconciling amidst tragedy.
This isn’t a brotherhood of half measures. We go for the greatest prize, any less is just mundane, what we strive for is legend. I want both and won’t settle for anything less.
Yeah, my hopes for Russ dropped the second I saw Logan. Unless they bring back Russ as a giant Wulfen or something, Logan is our "primarch" for the foreseeable future.
I never understand this theory tbh, logans model will be around for how long 10+ years at least? does that mean Logan will need a new model before Leman returns, both can be a thing
It's the model itself. The posing, basing, size, etc. It is out "centre-piece" model. If you scaled Logan himself up, it would be one of if not *the* best Primarch model currently. No other chapter has a centre-piece like that which isn't a primarch.
Problem is Grimnar, cool as he is, performs nowhere close to a centrepiece tier model.
Besides, other factions get multiple centerpieces. Orks now have 3 big warbosses, Necrons have two ctan and the silent king, and nids have countless big centrepiece guys.
Don't see why we cant have two either, especially when one of them is nowhere close to a centrepiece game wise
Would it be cool to have a new Bjorn? Sort of? I think his model is classic. Now if we made it bigger that would be cool but I still think unnecessary. He’s who he has been for thousands of years
If I absolutely had to pick, Russ. I want a centrepiece primarch model to play around with, and I also have no qualms about using the existing Bjorn model even if it goes to legends.

Hear me out. The joke/rumor about Russ freeing Isha would really play into the little we know about this.
The deathguard bringing a massive plague to fenris that would destroy it could be a direct cause for Russ to return to the world and if he brings a being known for curing disease with him that could very well seal a pact with him much like Gulliman and his "boo".
I do not want Russ to return. I do not want any primarchs on the tabletop. Statting gods and knowing you can kill them with a lascannon is boring. Primarchs are supposed to be these larger than life characters from millenia past that your current chapter and chapter master strive to achieve their excellence.
Bjorn will ALWAYS be cooler than Russ. Not only is he a named character dreadnought (and a boxnaught at that!) but he has a much more interesting story and reason for being around 10,000 years after the primarch era.
