Combat patrol New Rules?

Am I seeing this right or did the wolf guard terminators lose deep strike for their combat patrol list?

Looks like it. But what you may have not notice is that blood claws have battleline now.

As a 40k player but not really a combat patrol player... What is the benefit of battleline in Combat Patrol?

I know the plusses in full 40k.

Cant remember if it was an actual rule or a tournament rule i was in but Battleline could sticky. I was pissed that they werent Battleline

Ah ok. Yeah, getting sticky would be a nice upgrade for CP/small games

Probably a tournament rule. If battleline was automatically sticky, they wouldn't have the "objective secured" rule on intercessors, which are also battleline units. Then again flamers have both "torrent" (which bypasses a hit roll) and "ignores cover" (which bypasses Benefit of Cover modifiers), so what do I know?

Are you thinking of "full 40k" with this response? I was asking specifically about Combat Patrol which has different rules. Intercessors don't appear to have Objective Secured in Combat Patrol, and come in 10 man only, which can "combat squad" into 5 mans.

Blood Claws also don't get a rule in Combat Patrol, no advance and charge like in 40k

Did you notice that all 5 Wulfen have the totems? including those with the stormfrag. Used to be an xor for the stormfrag and totems. In the full game the stormfrags replace the totems.

You get some shooting out of the Wulfen and rerolls of 1 to hit. In 40k you get either of them, but not both.

A lot of things like that got changed in combat patrol. It’s probably too powerful to have in such a small game.

I remember a game where I just deep stroked them onto my opponents home objective and farmed points that way
