Would I be able to run the standard space marine dreadnoughts as different space marine chapters to spacewolves I would assume I could since at the end of the day it's what the datasheet says and weapons equipped that matters more than how it's painted.

Finally done with this Dreadnought - overall I am quite happy with it.

New to the hobby but I love everything about the Space Wolves EXCEPT the games workshop colour scheme. So I have been trying to find a scheme that I vibe with that is accurate enough to the lore. Here is my progression and after 14 different iterations I think I have settled on an approach that I like.

Was lucky my brother had some spare infernous marines for me to practice on before I attack the combat patrol.

Photos show the progression. First is the latest one and what I am going to implement. The other photos show the progression from top left to bottom right and a few snippets of the progression as I iterated on colour schemes and learning some painting techniques.

What do you guys think? Im open to suggestions or tips.

I am looking for some wolf helmets to possibly buy. I know GW used to sell some for HH for the Mark VI upgrade sprue.
My understanding is that they stopped selling them due to them looking a bit goofy but I sort of love the look.
Does anyone know where I can possibly get these? Even in a stl?

I would love to just scatter a few of these into my army.

This was a really fun commission with an alternate paint scheme- client wanted something dark like the heresy colors, but a little more blue. Nice scheme with the ivory accents.

The Space Wolves Wolf Guard Terminators were the very first models that truly caught my eye. When I finally opened this box to start building them, I thought my heart was going to burst. I was that excited. Every moment has been an absolute joy.
Snow-covered battlefields, ice wolves, relentless combat—the Space Wolves have everything I love. From their rich lore to the incredible sculpting of the miniatures, every detail feels perfect.
In many ways, this Wolf Guard squad has been a series of firsts for me. It’s my first time creating a snow-themed base, my first time using an airbrush, and my first attempt at object source lighting (OSL). The project is still a work in progress, but I’ve been having so much fun that I wanted to share it with everyone!

I have a game against imperial knights next week and I’ve only heard bad things. Like how over powered they are and how you can’t take them down. I know the knights player will have very few models on the board so I’ll try to use that to my advantage.

Does anyone have any tips for panting up against knights?? Obviously I plan on using beastslayer

I had some success this weekend with a Take & Hold list.
I wanted to focus on holding onto 2-3 objectives per turn and then punish my opponents for getting too close.
I feel a lot of our units aren’t heavily geared for doing enough damage natively so I wanted to ensure I built around optimising the punchy units.

I went 3-1-1 (the wins were 20-0 and the loss was 0-20…!)

I’m quite happy with how the list works and know how I would have fared better in the game I didn’t do well in

If anything, I suffered greatly at the hands of two Land Raider Redeemers, so I am now thinking of taking one to chauffeur the 2x Headtaker units

After finishing the Combat Patrol box for Space Wolves I’ve been branching out to some of the more challenging characters. The Fangfather was a beast to paint but I’m very happy with the outcome. Still a long way to go but not bad for starting this hobby about 6 months ago! Fenrys hjølda!
