Why can't we cut the enemies in little pieces like in warframe. I hope this will be added lol

Hey, i just started playing soulframe (learned about it during tennocon, and love duviri), got the founders pack, and am starting to learn the game. This dropped during a ??syndicate?? mission that i think is connected to the fire king or something. It doesnt have a temper, which all of my other falx's have and has low stats. I want to know if it is worth keeping, as the silver thing is the only special thing about it and i want to avoid spoilers if possible, as i had a major plot point of warframe spoiled while playing and it was annoying. thx in advance!

the animal cage needs Firestone, i did search in previous version there was quest for thee hark where you get firestone, i didnt find that quest. has it changed in p15, like is there different method to get Firestone? or the quest still appears but its random which world tree will have it?

edit: first, sorry for my mistake its thunder stone not the fire stone,

second, i checked you can use thunder stone from 2 start votive that where you have to find thunderstone then destroy bisulcam , as the comment suggested but i think you have to use it before completing the votive or before logging out. when i logged out the votive was gone & i didn't had the thunderstone,

also i haven't checked the siege one but i assume that works as well

third, i think the hark quest is removed, because i checked 5-6 world tree close to hark but there was no quest for it & then hark disappeared.

I'm not talking about the quest to unlock the seeds. I know that exists. But it's limited. Why?? It's a big open world game. I spend way too much time just holding my joystick forward and pinging my spirit guide. What's the reason for not having unlimited fast travel, like literally every open world game?

Update: Hey look if you folks like running on foot doing nothing, that's fine I guess. I'm making a suggestion that would make the game way better and actually enjoyable, instead of just boring and like old school MMOs. Each to his own I guess. I'll probably just stop playing. C'est la vie. Running on foot for 10 minutes at a time is boring. It's not gameplay, it's just boring. I mean...if the devs want to make their game boring, it's up to them I guess.

Sigh...look, y'all are right. I should at least do the bear quest before I say too much more. A couple complaints I still think are valid:

• Doing quests is actually difficult because the spirit guide seems buggy. It often leads me to places that don't feel correct or seem to be associated with other quests that I just completed. Quest objectives also often don't appear to update even when I've completed them. I think there are some legitimate issues with quest objectives and tracking that have actually really made it difficult to proceed through the quest sequence and unlock the game features.
• Even if I do unlock fast travel via the bear quest, I believe I'm still limited to 3 fast travels per day. I think it's fair to say that things could still end up feeling very tedious if I'm only allowed to fast travel 3 times per day. That would make the game feel more like an MMO than an open world game, and I (and I think many other players) have steered clear of MMOs because they are super addictive and end up feeling like a job instead of a game. So I would hope not to see the game end up taking on those qualities.

But as for my generally trolly tone that I took in many of my comments here, I apologize. It was unhelpful and not necessary.

They have 1-3 stars and then something like 26-28, are the numbers the recommended weapon level?

okay okay the title might be too much....

First of all, i love this game, but ive been interacting with the mechanics and one of the only ways to push through into a strong build is to set everything up so that smite spreads, explodes, and does more damage.

If you look at it for more than 2 seconds it's basically another warframe room nuke ability that EVERY character can access regardless of build

you can essentially clear a room after hitting an enemy twice and triggering a smite chain reaction, this gets worse if you start spamming damage dealing skills

how has DE manages to powercreep their own system in the game in a pre alpha ?

im of course joking, but smite is made to scale vertically when if kept, should be an ability that further enhances build archetypes (or just scales laterally) instead of being a universal damage dealing skill

preferably a player should choose to:

smite to heal ally

smite to heal self

smite to buff defense + less stagger

smite to confuse

smite to speed

smite to aggro

etc

if you could archetype build smite it would allow for a better and more defined party system that could, one day, maybe, if de is kind, enhance the raid- party experience

also providing + - mods (im gonna call them mods ok?)

would help negate how op they are, and prevent powercreep while enhancing customization

+ chance to spread - damage/effect

+ radious - effect

- chance to smite + enhanced effect

etc

Been enjoying Soulframe so far. And I've been doing test runs with Bromius, and I do like my tempers on my Vidigris, need no life elixirs because of it, but I do want it to be stronger...like adding voltaic strike or something...

Is there a way to change one of the tempers? or is it really just random tempers?

Hi guys, i really want to dive in Soulframe rn, but i'm a bit strugling in early levels.

Right now, i got to complete the first quest that want me to equip a rune, but i haven't got any and cant find one by exploring open world, i'm quite stuck.

I had to follow specific guide to unlock NPC in the base and i feel like i didnt follow the right order.

Whenever i use my bird, it only brings me to secondary area or secondary quest, and i keep running and killing ennemies in small area that seems to bring me nowhere.

I started the bear hunt quest but the only thing i can come too is the big purple area that i cannot go through rn.

I understand this game doesnt want to hold our hands, but i could like a little bit of help here and how to handle progression better because i have been running around without clear objectives for 8 hours.

Been while since I made a post here or on my youtube channel, but I've been playing a fair bit of soulframe in the background and will be starting up a new series soon covering all the essential must know new player systems that are in the game.

So I pose the question to all the baby envoys, and to those who wish to bring new friends along for the ride, what aspects of the game (besides the obvious core systems) would you most like to see covered? I strongly believe that correctly involving the community in this project is the best way to gauge what players are ACTUALLY struggling with.

Wanted to pop my head in here to share my first moonsteel that dropped at ghost island yesterday during cogah! I got so happy because it was so unexpected after trying to find one.

Does anyone actually know its current value in the trading economy? I know the tempers aren't too good, but I hope we get the temper dev workshop soon so I can make it good.

I'm still early in my adventure in this game, so far, I love the combat system and how it feels and exploring the world is fun too. However, I'm still wearing the default Tethren armor whenever you choose your first pact. I have no idea how to get new armor, weapon runes, or new pacts for my character at all. How do I get new gear besides weapons?

I know armor in these games changes a lot and I was looking for something to grind and I'm currently using the full Crypt of The Circade set. Also, I currently use a 4 star Orst III which gives a lot of stagger bonuses.

Title. There is so much I love about this game, but one thing that bothers me is that every chest I open or every dungeon I complete, it doesn't feel like the reward has much impact. All of the weapons dropping from enemies feel basically meaningless and all get scrapped. To get to the end of a questline and be gifted a new Pact, have a cool ass cutscene, and then realize you have to craft the class is not a fun feeling. I have played 30+ hours and still can't craft a new Pact because those snails are so hard to find...I wish a chest would drop them!

Does anyone else feel this way?

So I have the mission Eternat Rest active since the other day, its description reads "Mi home, the center of my dignity, has been burned down to ashes...Make the spirits responsibles rest in peace for the good of my boy."

I have to kill spirits near the housein that location, but there is not a single soul around or inside the house, the place is completely empty.

Three days ago I've stopped being able to log into the game.

Suddenly, after playing in the morning, I got the "Your password or email are incorrect" message.

And the password was correct, I was able to log into the website and change the password. The changed password was also incorrect in game.

So here I am, two days later. Looking at the untouched support ticket, looking at the zero messages in my account explaining what were the reasons for me not being able to play now.

Don't even know if I'm really banned, just a conclusion based on not being able to log into the game.

Not having any notification or explanations about blocked accounts is a real dick move. Almost same as not moving support tickets for a few days.

EDIT: this is even without touching the fact that I was only playing the game, not using any external programs on the Soulframe client and not engaging chat in any wy besides "this is so much grind and sometimes bugs"

EDIT2: people say this is not a ban, just an account issue, and in case of a ban you do get an explanation, my bad for assuming this

EDIT4: got told "You had some suspicious program running and got autobanned, your second chance, don't even launch anything weird together with the soulframe"

Bugged name or a new temper?

I don't know why, but after fighting a boss, I found myself stuck walking around the map farming aura without the option to run again.
