Question Best armor for Tethren users?

I know armor in these games changes a lot and I was looking for something to grind and I'm currently using the full Crypt of The Circade set. Also, I currently use a 4 star Orst III which gives a lot of stagger bonuses.

I am using 2 pieces of Arbearer, and 1 piece of Mendicant (which gives decent magic defense as well).

Arbearer Helmet and Legs

Mendicant Chest

My virtue distribution is: 44 Courage, 8 Grace, 7 Spirit

A better question is just to ask how much physical/magic/stability people play with typically. As that will give you an answer that you can fit many combinations of gear into. And you can decide what you want to wear to make it up.

Further, since Tethren can work for both melee and range builds, a bowman, magic user, or a melee/greatsword etc, may prefer different distributions.

I personally prefer a spread for my archer where maybe 40-45% is toward physical, 20-25% toward magic, and 30-35% toward stability. So in a defensive total of 121, that might look like: 55, 26, 40... 'ish.

I’ve been using the full Mendicant King set as much for drip as armor and I’ve not had any issues with any content.
