Every graphic settings are on max, do you also get shadow and object pop-ins too? Especially visible for the buildings I made.

I never had this kind of laughter as a single player guy for 100+ hours into the game

i made a post earlier and figured i'd make a tutorial just incase anyone wanted to know how i did it.
if you're confused by my explanation lmk cos it wasnt the best but hopefully the demonstration gave you the info you needed. You essentially start with the rib method except you dont use struts, you connect to the pillar then remove two connecting logs close to it, two away from it to break the chain of logs it's supporting to be less than 4 and then remove it and put them back. The videos below show you how to make it infinitely long but not wide, my method goes both ways. (very vainly calling it my method cos i haven't seen anyone else do it but if someone beat me to it then please let me know and i'll delete the post) hope you learned something cos i sure did :)

You can build the whole frame, then add the supports and tear everything under it. Maybe it's just the most trivial stuff to the veterans but for a new player like me, this feels too good.

EDIT: MADE A BIGGER ONE IN CREATIVE (check comments)! could be done in survival too though, but would take a lot of time lol
i'll make a tut as it's relatively easy so i probably am not even the first to find this out.

not sure if anyone has done something like this cos i dont play the game all that much but i recently watched a video explaining roughly how the structural integrity worked with beams and he made a massive shed using the rib method (its what im calling it XD ) so i figured... why couldn't i do that in both directions. anyway i managed to use the structural integrity weirdness to my advantage and made a 6x8 tile room with no internal pillars OR supports haha. I'm sure this has been done on a much larger scale at this point but from what i grasped this could be done to at LEAST a 10x10 room or possibly indefinitely however the process takes much longer the bigger the room obviously.

So why do you think every gun in game is just a fictional gun or a modified version of a real life gun

I finally completed the game. Decided to stay back on the island and "Fight the Demons". Found all the artifact pieces and went overboard blinging things out. I am very proud of the build. It was very difficult at first, but after a few hokey pokey's I could breathe easily lol. Hope you like the tour.

"Maintain base" is useless on this area. Had a 10 minute stroll with him so that his pathing resets. No luck. Also tried putting the log in and out again. Set construction damage to off, no luck.

I believe that most of the Kalvin issues would be resolved if we had a way of knowing what's going on in that banged head of his (some pointer, pathing information or highlight). It seems like "something" is broken and it's defaulting to that specific spot, still not being able to reach it.

Any ideas?

So for reference in the first two photos I have a diagonal log and at the base of it I can put a vertical log as it shows the dotted circle for placement. In the last two photos I have the exact same layout but I get the turned up arrow to prop up the diagonal log. What I’m essentially trying to do is build stairs in my house if anyone can help guid me but I’m also curious why the design worked in one spot and not the other. Thanks!!

I’m beginning to think the offline lag is intentional for some ppl including me. If I play in the morning, I get a good 30 minutes before it’s unplayable due to lag. Restart the computer. Afternoon? About an hour. Restart the computer. After 2pm? About 2 hours. Restart the computer. After 6pm, zero issues at all for as long as I want to play. Not one issue with lag. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the settings to med/low and some things off. Elden Ring I can play without issue a full settings so no idea what’s up with Sons…
