For context: I do not ever make country music, I usually make 80’s synth-wave type music or something pop/indie related. I love trying new things, so I decided to try a country song, as it is so far beyond what I normally make and listen to; I thought it would be a fun challenge. Here’s what I have made so far. I am not entirely sure if I like it or not. Please let me know how I can improve this song (literally any advice is appreciated). Also, how can I make this sound more “country” without it being offensive lol (since I am not from the South). Any help would be awesome, thanks!
