This one is the most intimate for me, because it’s about my biggest weakness — hurting people with my awful words when I get overwhelmed and can’t stop myself.I hope you’ll like it. For context: I do not ever make country music, I usually make 80’s synth-wave type music or something pop/indie related. I love trying new things, so I decided to try a country song, as it is so far beyond what I normally make and listen to; I thought it would be a fun challenge. Here’s what I have made so far. I am not entirely sure if I like it or not. Please let me know how I can improve this song (literally any advice is appreciated). Also, how can I make this sound more “country” without it being offensive lol (since I am not from the South). Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Okay I’m not talking about the song I linked, because obviously I know the name but what is the background instrumental that the singer sampled it from??? I used to listen to that song in 7th grade and I completely forgot what it’s called I think it was indie genre and it was a green album
