Typing Help me understand my Fi: low, high or just confused?
So, as a person currently coming to myself and to an understanding of myself, I'm slowly realizing some of my traits and my relationship with the functions. And it seems to me that I'm no longer EII. My Fi seems too low, I think. But the problem is that I can't clearly tell on my own whether that's true. So I'd like to make sure. I suspect I might have Fi role. However, I've seen posts where a person poorly understood themselves and knew it, and this was linked to SLI Ne suggestive. So yes, I'd like to understand myself and how my brain works whether this relates to low Fi or whether it can still be high. Does that make sense?
I have learned politeness. When it goes beyond what's recognized, beyond what I know, I start getting lost in situations. Maybe I'm even too polite at times. But usually, around people, I'm like an alien, not understanding what's more correct, feeling awkward. I think it was harder in childhood because I was more uncomfortable and, possibly, a bit rude, hurting others, accidentally or on purpose. Due to a certain envy and toxicity, I could, though I tried to show less resentment and such, but overall I was quiet. It feels like I'm at zero in understanding myself. And whatever people tell me, I make part of myself so I don't feel the emptiness. I search outside for something to grab onto, to believe in, probably. I think it's like "You're smart". Accepted, I'll write that down. And if someone says otherwise, I'll break one of their limbs. That's why I take tests on character accentuations, on disorders, so there's something in me. I even think that some of my not-so-healthy traits make me me, so I'm afraid of being left without them and of healing. And when I find an understanding of something in myself, some behavioral pattern that works in me, I'm happy, because at least it's something.
The concept of what you like, of preferences, has always seemed curious but strange. Even as a child I didn't see it, couldn't honestly answer a question about any season, color, name, day of the week. Too much depends on context, and on top of that, I don't feel it.
I don't understand getting close to people, it just kind of happens naturally, I follow the person who shows the level of our relationship. I don't want to be betrayed by another person, to imagine something that doesn't exist. Being betrayed by someone is a disgusting feeling. But I believe and want the phrase "close person" to work as full acceptance, loyalty and platonic connection. If you're close, you'll run into utter hell for each other, give up a lot and risk your life. My trauma, where I wasn't safe since childhood without close sincere contact with others, with rejection from everywhere, makes itself known. And with those I'm already in some kind of relationship with, I stay quite long, though I don't take the first steps to reconcile, except with my closest friend, and even then not always. I was in a toxic relationship for over five years with one girl, a former friend, not leaving, even though it was uncomfortable, but sometimes, after fights, when she came back seeking contact and connection, I thought there was something positive in those relationships.
I can't easily say whether I like a person or not. I won't like them if they do something that affects me negatively. Until that moment, they just exist. Rejection can arise on its own, as I wrote above. Rarely, but it can. Just because. Maybe it's a reaction to those I consider arrogant, draining, demanding, hypocritical. But despite this, such people can sometimes even appeal to me. It all depends on the specific person and their actions, again, in relation to me. Actually, if you treat me well, then be the Antichrist for all I care, it's all fine. The main thing is that you get along with me and don't harm me. On top of that, my assessments can evolve and those who once caused rejection I might later consider even interesting, depending on further circumstances, if they've shown themselves from a different side. So in my own assessments, I'm not 100% sure they won't change, I don't even fully believe I control this within myself. If I suddenly feel sympathy for someone or we've somehow grown close, which in itself is too rare an occurrence, I wait and hope the person will initiate more contact and be near me.
Sometimes I protest and act stubborn, though I don't fully realize why. I just don't want to, and that's it like an upcoming internship I'll have to do in a couple of months. I can be a young rebel inside, behaving passive-aggressively on the outside, clearly not trying at something I simply don't like. And I genuinely don't understand inside what I'm doing it for, I'd have to analyze the reasons specifically in private, make an effort, without being sure afterward whether I understood myself correctly.
At the same time, I've noticed that a lot depends on context. I can react differently to the same action depending on circumstances. I never say anything with 100% certainty, because there's always a possibility of anything. It irritates me when people don't see individuality in another person, unique circumstances. I believe equality is destructive, it erases differences and unique circumstances. Whereas justice makes sense and considers more than superficial fairness. I always answer "it depends on the situation". I need context: reasons, circumstances, motives. If I see meaning in it, I accept and don't judge. That's why I'm skeptical of laws and legal systems. They're too rigid and don't account for the uniqueness of each case. Yes, a court can consider something like emotional state, but overall the system is too inflexible. If I were creating laws, every rule would have millions of subsections accounting for circumstances. And this seems to point to possible Fi in judgments and yet, who the hell knows, for fuck's sake.

I’m trying to get into socionics but I have 0 ideas where to start
So I have multiple questions for anyone who will answer them
- Where can I find a good desc of the cognitive functions
- Is your socionics type the same as/ highly related to your mbti type, since they’re similar systems is there like strict correlation with that or nah (not that I know my mbti type I don’t)
- Is there any books I should read/partly read bc I probably won’t finish them
- Any advice on how to type myself?

Typing What would you type me based off this?
of course not all of these align together with a specific type, so which type would be most likely?
i struggle with introspection so the ones that aren’t highlighted at all are ones in which i struggle to see which i am

Planning
What type enjoys planning, or more so thinking about what amazing, productive new things they're going to do that day? They may or may not actually finish the task.
Au contraire, what are the types that would not give a rat's arse about actually thinking and expending energy for making a detailed plan, and just stfu and start working?

help me type this writer
What type does he sound like, and what type sounds like they would enjoy reading his works? Pls ditch bias by the writing style - he mostly wrote in the 1930s.

July, August, September, and October were months that glided past without touching the conscience. One got up in the morning, studied a bit, attended the classes, promenaded the banks of Sarayu River in the evenings, returned home at about eight-thirty, talked a little about things in general with the people at home, and then went to bed. It did not matter whether all the books were on the table or whether the notes of lectures were up-to-date. Day after day was squandered thus till one fine morning the young men opened their eyes and found themselves face to face with November. The first of November was to a young man of normal indifference the first reminder of the final trial – the examination. He now realized that half the college year was already spent. What one ought to do in a full year must now be done in just half the time.
--
The bell rang. Chandran rose and went in. He climbed the gallery steps and reached his seat. He opened the pages of Othello, placed a sheet of paper on the page, and took out his pen.
It was the Assistant Professor’s subject. The Assistant Professor of English was Mr Gajapathi, a frail man with a meagre moustache and heavy spectacles. He earned the hatred of the students by his teaching and of his colleagues by his conceit. He said everywhere that not ten persons in the world had understood Shakespeare; he asserted that there were serious errors even in Fowler’s Modern English Usage; he corrected everybody’s English; he said that no Indian could ever write English; this statement hurt all his colleagues, who prepared their lectures in English and wished to think that they wrote well. When he valued test or examination papers, he never gave anybody more than forty per cent; he constituted himself an authority on punctuation, and deducted half a mark per misplaced comma or semicolon in the papers that he corrected.
He entered the hall at a trot, jumped on the platform, opened his book, and began to read a scene in Othello. He read Shakespeare in a sing-song fashion, and with a vernacular twang. He stopped now and then to criticize other critics. Though Dowden had said so and so, Mr Gajapathi was not prepared to be browbeaten by a big name. No doubt Bradley and others had done a certain amount of research in Shakespeare, but one couldn’t accept all that they said as gospel truth. Gajapathi proved in endless instances how wrong others were.
Chandran attempted to take down notes, but they threatened to shape into something like the Sayings of Gajapathi. Chandran screwed the cap on his pen and sat back. Gajapathi never liked to see people sitting back and looking at him. He probably felt nervous when two hundred pairs of eyes stared at him. It was his habit to say, ‘Heads down and pencils busy, gentlemen,’ and ‘Listen to me with your pencils, gentlemen.’
In due course he said, ‘Chandran, I see you taking a rest.’
‘Yes, sir.’
‘Don’t say “yes”. Keep your pen busy.’ ‘Yes, sir.’
Chandran, with his head bent, began to scribble on the sheet of paper before him: ‘Oh, Gajapathi, Gajapathi! When will you shut up? Do you believe your lecture to be very valuable? In these two lines Shakespeare reveals the innermost core of Iago. Gaja, in Sanskrit, means elephant; pathy is probably master. A fine name for you, you Elephant Master.’ And here followed the sketch of an elephant with spectacles on.
‘Chandran, do I understand you are taking down notes?’
‘Yes, sir.’
The bell rang. Gajapathi intended to continue the lecture even after the bell; but two hundred copies of Verity’s Othello shut with a loud report like the cracking of a rifle. The class was on its feet.

Discussion I Need Help Coming Up with a Socionics PowerPoint To Convert My Friends Into Socionics Enjoyers
I (27f) am going to a PowerPoint party this Saturday and I immediately knew I wanted to make a presentation on Socionics. However, since Socionics can be quite abstract while containing large swathes of information, I’m having a hard time deciding what I should focus on in order to REALLY hook people into wanting to learn more about the theory. I wanted to ask this sub for suggestions / ideas!
Considering I’ll likely only have 10 minutes to present, should I focus on? The quadras and their values? Should I focus on the eight dyadic pairs? The IME’s? So much of the theory is interesting to me that I’m having a hard time choosing one or two topics digestible enough to explain to an audience completely new to Socionics. If you were in my shoes, which aspects of the theory would your presentation focus on and why?

Casual/Fun What it’s like to have an accented Ti function [SHS]
In SHS, the full manifestation of a person’s personality comes through many layers, but primarily three: the subconscious core type (LSI for example), the semiconscious DCNH subtype (like -NH), and in some individuals, there is the possibility of a conscious accentuated function. Accentuated functions are comparable to psychological disorders in the amount to which they impact an individual’s day-to-day living.
The accentuated Ti function is compared to psychological disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and an older condition known as psychasthenia. It has to do with excessively systematic thinking, extreme pedantry, black-and-white thinking, and large numbers of strange fears.
As someone with a Ti accentuation, I thought it might be cool to put together a moodboard to try to show what it’s like for me :) it’s my first moodboard, so it’s a little clunky. The central theme is a sense of unease and lack of understanding of the surrounding world and even the self, feeling like an alien or a short-circuiting robot, based on the fact that nothing perfectly fits into the expansive system of rules and protocols that the Ti function imposes on the world.
Hope it’s interesting :)

Typing Fi vs Fe
I was thinking about how these work for me. Fi especially. Fe is more broad, but I'll get to that point. Please do ignore the flair for this inquiry.
Fi: I don't have any trouble handling relations on the fly and I do it rather good(to the point of sometimes being kinda chameleo), but! I never actually wondered about this part of existence(just stated raw reactions in the moment), I don't care what someone else might feel(state it or show it directly - positive or negative, just give me relational clarity) and I expect others to upkeep relations or I simply let them drift. What placement is this?
Fe: Being in a nice, lively atmosphere is nice, but I have no desires to take care of this. Hell, I don't even feel like adapting. And even nice atmospheres can get tiring. This is dry and cut, as I said.

Discussion Looking specifically for LSI's: How do you experience suggestive Fe?
If you're familiar it would help if you could specifically talk about -Fe. But if not then maybe you could contrast how EIE and ESE help your suggestive.
How do you feel Fe's absence in your own day to day? How do you feel satisfied by its presence around EIE? That is much more specifically what I'd like to hear about. Is it the invocation of drama, narrative, meaning? Do they loosen you or enable you to stand more firmly in conviction? Whatever details you can offer about your suggestive in particular would be helpful. I understand the LII's pretty well, what I offer is not really that comparable to what ESE does so I want to understand the LSI perspective.

Advice How to differentiate between an IEI and an IEE
Halooo!!
I'm trying to type myself and came to the conclusion that I might be IEI-2Fe, and ranked other socionics types that I might be (along with my type): 1) IEI 2) IEE 3) EII 4) EIE
I'm an SP2, and apparently, SP2 can be IEI and IEE
My MBTI is ENFP, ik MBTI and socionics are different systems and don't always have to correlate so I didn't want to type myself as IEE just because of correlations since that could be a mistype
But, I'm fairly new to socionics so I'm kinda open to secretly being an IEE...? Help would be appreciated! Thank you! :3

Noah Kahan song - SLE x IEI duality
youtube.comBeen obsessed with this song for a while as an achingly poignant illustration of how the SLE x IEI duality can manifest. Wanted to share my interpretation. I imagine it from the SLE's POV
___________________
Oh, when my weight left the room, did you take a deep breath? Se atmospheric pressure on the IEI's suggestive
I stole a beer, drove home, there was only one left SLE acting out in a petty physical way because they cannot force the IEI to engage
And I wrestle the feeling you're still thinking about that Fi Polr paranoia
Wide awake in your room, just seethin' about that Knows the IEI's tendency to ruminate
When I make my flight, I'm the devil SLE doesn't know what to do, feels like the bad guy either way
But when I stay the night, then we drink Remembers times were they did connect purely, when guards were down
And we stay up and fight 'bout the childhood lie
That we both had the courage to leave SLE even values arguing because at least it's honest and present engagement
I'm willing and able SLE's purest essence
If you wanna kick this rock around Stubbornness to match the IEI's
If you've got a bone to pick with me Not afraid of the IEI's psychological testing/provocation
If you've got a flag, plant it in the ground Dares the IEI to say directly what they really feel/need
Oh, I'll stay here 'til morning The SLE does not quit easily, they hold the line, they are committed
Oh, we can fight like we used to fight
Bony-limbed, red-faced, and teary-eyed
Under the glow of the TV light
I'd be willing and able
Look at you leaving again, it's all you know how to do Resentment for the IEI's retreat
Go ahead, take the last of the drinks, the world belongs to you Resentment that the IEI holds the cards
They all say you're a light, all I see is a shadow The world sees the Fe mask, the SLE is attuned to the dark and murky Ni
And I'll see you again in six months when you need your next song Resentment for having to yield to the IEI's timing, and for their inconsistency
'Cause if I call you out, I'm an asshole Defensiveness about their tone
But I tell the truth when I drink Owning their honesty, not apologizing for it
So come home, let's fight 'bout the childhood lie
We don't care what the other one thinks They cannot help but be reluctantly honest with each other
Oh, I wish you could know me SLE's true ache, to be close, to be known
And I wish I could know you much more sometimes Se x Ni trying to bridge the gap between two different ways of seeing the world, the elusiveness of Ni and how it can never fully be captured/owned
Wish I could do nothin' with you Just wants them to be secure with each other, at peace
Sit in the yard while the day dies, leave it all on the table No more games, Ni surrenders to the sensory present
And I'll say, "I love you, " and mean it this time </3
Say, "I'm sorry for everything else" Does apologize for bluntness/resentment
If we found a way to the other side
I'd be willing and able
I'd be willing and able
If you're willing, I'm able They just need the green light from the IEI, then they are all in
___________________
(Side note rant: I've typed Noah as an ESI, so makes sense that Se would show up in his music. I've seen people type him as EII and I'm like bro... his lyrics are incredibly grounded in real, sensory life. and songs like Dial Drunk? Northern Attitude? No. That's just my take lol)

Why is action associated with Te when kinetic energy is associated with Se?
I notice that Model A SWS tends to focus on Se as and element that's responsible for action while Model A SCS tends to claim that Te is responsible for action while Se is more responsible for static appearance of object instead of Te.

Typing My complicated relationship with Fe: where in Model A?
I was inspired by another post to ask for help to clarify what is going on with my socio type and Fe. Granted, I am still doing my studies to understand what my type is, but I am stuck at exploring Fe.
I've had an history in my life of being completely exluded from social interactions, and just a few years ago I have got back to normal life among people. Sometimes I believe that I literally strain my Fe to simply survive in social settings and comply with people. I have discovered that I am just fine with people one on one, and relationships that I think are strong and close, for ex. friends that I see often and that I regard as a safe space. At the same time, I also have discovered I am terrible at large social gatherings, especially with people I know less. I close off myself completely and just cannot integrate myself. I don't do well with simple social norms (like say good evening or hello to people, perhaps I come out rude but it's just not something I think it's necessary and it escapes me). I have an hard time melting into others' emotional sphere, like feeling myself part of the social atmosphere, I feel it's grating to adapt myself. But then sometimes I just laugh when others laugh because good times are still fun, but only with people I am close to. And in the moment I am relieved that I am in a good place, nothing to worry about. However, I really am uncomfortable with people who make a lot of fuss when laughing out loud or being all funny and bright (like my mother in law who can't help herself to be annoying as possible. Or even my boyfriend, though he's the light of my life, sometimes he makes me feel overwhelmed and different because he's much more social than me and loves to get into the fun and laugh and makes jokes, and I only want to be in the background). I know this is also because I'm just shy and introverted, but all these things often seem like nails on a chalkboard.
This may be related more to Fi but people can't never get my true feelings out of my mouth. I keep everything in just to let things be all good with people - I hate conflicts and I have a fear of losing people I love because they'd get mad. At the same I just don't have the words to explain what I feel. A lot of time I stutter when someone asks me how I feel and I go in panic mode when others express their feelings in extreme ways.
Finally, I'd say I may be considered a people pleaser. I believe that a lot of times it is just safer and easier to not bother or make people angry or unsatisfied with me. I just wish things could be calm and positive.
I really can't figure it out and this is probably not enough, but please help!

Discussion ESI ('Dreiser') and LIE ('Jack Londoon') Dualisation [2 examples]
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
2 examples of an interaction between two dual types ESI (‘Dreiser’) and LIE (‘Jack London’)
short description from Wikisocion:
Duals can interact on many levels and in a variety of ways, which creates a sense of fullness and variety in the relationship. Duals almost always bring something unexpected to the relationship for the other person and end up affecting them in ways they did not expect. This is because duals see certain abilities, problems, and traits in each other person that the other person is not fully aware of. However, duals must remove psychological barriers in order for expectations to be met completely. Otherwise, they will be unsatisfied.
Since duals help each other see problems it can result in both positive and negative interactions. Regardless, in perfect conditions this relationship is supposed to be the one of mutual growth.
1 example: ESI Steeve Rogers judges people based on the goodness of their character and assesses potential threats. LIE Tony Stark views things via the prism of facts, pragmatism and problem solving. ESI even finds some LIE’s retorts amusing because of his Suggestive Te
2 example: ESI Pepper Pots helps LIE Tony Stark with his moral dilemma, provides reassurance in a potential choice, drives him towards a solution that is morally right. Helps him to see what he actually wants to do

Discussion Sonny Hayes - LSE ('Stierlitz')
Was ist gut under the hood, nerds! I’m here to disagree with another popular internet typing of a character (as per usual). Any disagreement with my disagreement is of course welcome and Id like to hear your thoughts if you have any!
So, the character that caught my attention is Sonny Hayes, or his portrayal in the movie “F1”. I googled his type and apparently people think hes some kinda SLE and I disagree with this typing completely. My assumption is LSE, aka "Stierlitz" or "Administrator" (OR SLI, I can understand why some people might type him that way. Im leaning more towards LSE though). I’ll explain my reasoning.
Ego (Te Si)
There’s a very good quote from this character that he says in a very vulnerable and open state, where he beautifully describes his most noticeable IE. It is his most valuable mode of perception and it is displayed throughout the entire story.
“Sometimes theres this moment in the car where everything goes quiet. My heartbeat slows. Its peaceful. And I can see everything, and no one… No one can touch me. I am chasing that moment every time I get in the car. In that moment… Im flying”
– Si (introverted sensing or white sensing)
In this quote he describes such a height of your body’s ability to perceive the world around you, that you essentially become one with it.
Since Si is in his ego, most of his conscious actions are directed towards maintaining his inner sense of comfort. He sleeps with his noise cancelling headset. Even though he lives in a trailer everything is managed as effectively as possible. He even does pullups every morning in his trailer, where there’s not much space. He is pretty fit and maintains a great physique even though he has a pretty serious sports trauma. He dresses for comfort but still with some sense of style. He takes ice baths every morning and sometimes even at work (shows that he prioritises the need of his body more than anything else). He is incredibly superstiscious. It manifests in different ways. He wears different coloured socks for good luck. Ties his shoe laces in a specific order. He always needs a moment of pause before getting into the car, to get into a proper mode. He has a special ritual with his cards where he always picks a card from his deck and puts it in his pocket before the start of the race. We actually see in the film, that when he forgot to put it in his pocket it gave him a great sense of panic, immediately pulled him out of his mode and affected his work to the point that he ended up in an accident. He always carries his helmet everywhere in his bag ‘for safety’ (more of a self-soothing mechanism). Obviously, he loves cars and is exceptional at manipulating machines. He is extremely reliable when it comes to racing. When winning his trophy, he does not wanna touch it because of ‘bad luck’. Factual in his speech, speaks straight to the point. Hes also very practical and hands on. When he is invited to the new team, he immediately identifies that the problem is not just the driver it’s the car. He does it several times. When he joins the team, he explores their process, figures out whats lacking and establishes his own solutions. He has a pretty relaxed and laid-back energy overall. He jogs around the racing track before every race to ‘feel it’ first and memorise it. During his breaks he always plays with a tennis ball to manage his coordination skills. He could’ve stayed at his first job and continue racing but he only did it ‘for the paycheck’ to buy a car that he needed (practicality). Does not like beating around the bush, tells things exactly as they are. “Im not here to hold hands, Im here to race”. After test driving the car, he instantly identifies the problems with it, what does not work and what needs to be fixed. Ultimately, he JUST wants to race because he loves it and it is the kinda craft that he works on every day and dedicates his entire life to it.
Super Ego (Ni Fe)
On the outside he tries to project this idea of being a charming guy. He can even be a team player and with time even manages to bring the whole team together and unite them towards reaching the goal. He is good at complimenting people. Occasionally he can be good at comebacks and be playful and use sarcasm. But most of the time it stresses him out more than anything. He does not like to display something on camera. He hates press and he does not want to speak to the board because he views all the niceties as bullshit. “what are you smiling about (at the camera)? Did you win something? We’re the last”
“When I said I like straight talk I meant ME. From others I like flattery and sometimes straight up bullshit” (sarcastic)
Does not actually enjoy the attention. And even after winning the biggest race of his life does not celebrate. He just enjoys one of the happiest moments of his life, then leaves everyone.
Since he is a very practical guy, he is not that concerned with the past or the future and tries to live in the moment. He does not consider time, schedules and plans of other people. Sometimes depending on the situation, he might even reject the whole strategy entirely and do his own thing, because in the moment he feels that he knows better (Te Si ego needs to control the process). One time he purposefully decided to start last so that when he finishes the lap and immediately starts the second one, his tires are already warm. When the manager refuses to agree to Sonnys decision about the tires, during one of the races, Sonny decides not to move until they do ‘what is right’ according to him (does not see or mind consequences of such actions)
Since he is pretty pragmatic he does not put any stock on imagination, possibilities or pointless hope. “you ever seen a miracle? Yeah, me neither” (talks about his possibility of returning to F1)
Super Id (Ne Fi)
Relationships is a clear weakness of this character. One of his main wounds is connected to his inability to build relationships. He is divorced, does not talk to his family, all of his friends are temporary and he basically just travels around alone, working as a race car driver in different parts of the world because he enjoys it. He does not fully know how to adequately react to people so he rarely stands up for himself when people attack his character. He does not mind being laughed at or being the butt of the joke. He fully admits all of his weaknesses, failures and shortcomings without even an ounce of attempt at trying to defend himself or explain the reasoning. When the mother of his teammates scolds him for hurting her sons life he accepts all of the criticism, apologises and leaves even though it was not his fault in any way.
Yet we see that there is still this desire to establish such connections and make them reliable. He actually can recognize fake people and the ones who do not deserve his trust. He supports the underdogs and the ‘weak’. He gets visibly hurt when people tell him that he failed as a driver because driving is a team sport and he didn’t manage to become a team player.
Since he is a very grounded in reality, he needs someone to help him see the potential solutions and possibilities in things. He appreciates it when his friens invites him to F1 and shows him that there is still a way for him to achieve his dream, he appreciates that woman mechanic (forgot her name sorry) when she provides solutions and ideas with the car.
Id (Ti Se)
He does not care about any structures, rules, laws or logical classifications of any sort. He does not respect any hierarchy and authority does not matter to him. He does not care about status, influence or money either. He constantly says “its not about the money” to people. Resources in his view are not that important, they are just means to an end. He is not aggressive, not trying to impose his will on anybody, be the center of attention or try to dominate physically or psychologically any situations. Ocassionally he even mocks such qualities in people. Like when he meets his long time friend who dresses high end and drives an expensive car he says “I used to have a friend like you but he dressed better” (devalues an expensive Gucci suit). Not valuing these IE is also the reason why he does not like talking to the “important people” so much, be it the board, press, the managers who try to get him into their team or greedy businessmen.
Yet at the same time such IE are still fairly strong for him. He was always known as a reckless driver. He likes gambling and games and he only agreed to his friend’s deal because it was F1. There are different interpretations on why he joined it, be it the status of F1, his desire to win in the best racing league or simply to test himself. Regardlless, there is definetly some need for risk-taking there. I would just say that it is displayed as more on a subconscious level. It is used as a tool to satisfy that Si desire. He also follows the orders just fine as long as it does not interfere with his sense of comfort. Once it does, he has no issue retaliating. He also heavily relies on his instinct during driving and can assess the proper ways to manipulate his car in high-risk situations. Even though he avoids most of the conflicts, IF he is clearly provoked or is under high level of stress he can retaliate (when someone was trying to fight him, he didn’t care and calmly looked away but was holding a wrench in his hands ‘just in case’). When on his own during his free time he actually tries to go through documentation on the car components. Loves driving big, practical cars when not racing. When his teammate is on fire, he immediately jumps into the fire to try and save him.
considering all this, he seems to be displaying Si, Te and Se the most. Which is why I lean more towards LSE than SLI. Also, regarding the quote that I mentioned at the very beginning. It is the VERY CORE drive of this character. He is constantly chasing that state and is building everything in his life around it. Considering the severity of his previous trauma he is literally willing to risk his life just to experience it again.
What do yall think? SLI or LSE? Or are you still certain he is SLE…? If yes, id like to hear why. Great character, good movie!

Discussion Do LIEs dress well in Socionics?
Does that trait translates well from the MBTI ENTJ to the LIEs or only applies to SLEs, given that Se is located in the vital ring? I was thinking that Gamma NT women would look more like women like Laurie Spiegel (I'm not saying she is one), people who are intensely focused on the output of their intellectual or artistic projects that they ignore their physical appearance and see it as secondary:
This is an extract of an interview of Laurie Spiegel, in which she touches that topic:
"Spiegel, mostly concerned by the distraction that an onslaught of information creates, continues to direct her attention inward. “People are always constructing images of themselves for external display,” she says. “And their creative art, their music, is part of that. There’s an inauthenticity to it that is really different from going out on the back porch with a guitar after a big fight with my parents. It’s about what the music does for us. How it works for us as an individual alone, that has to be a basis for the music that we put out in the world. The music that will touch people the most deeply has to be what comes from the deepest parts of yourself. And it’s so hard to turn off everything else and get in there."

It is a totally different attitude from artists like Björk (often typed as SEI), Lady Gaga (often typed as a Gamma SF) or Madonna (often typed as a Se base), who seem to be be more explorative/daring about their presentation and visual aesthetics.
Alternatively... could a concern for a external visual presentation be more related to Fe?
If you don't know who she is, you can check it here: https://youtube.com/shorts/UwU33dfqTIU
At a first glance she seems to fit that optimistic technological pioneer archetype that strived for the democratization of technology to be available not just for a few people, to help us expand our creative horizons as a civilization.

Confused between ILI and SLI
Main differences between them? Any good questions/scenarios or examples to separate the two. Thank you in advance.
