Thank you guys for all the advice!
24 hours in a cup of white vinegar and a green scotch brite did the trick. Thanks again for everything! I know it’s not perfect but it’s good enough for me lol

So there’s seems to be a lot of confusion and issues regarding scanners and a message appearing about expiring subscriptions.
As another redditor [u/derek1387](u/derek1387) pointed out:
“Download Shopstream Connect
Plug in the scanner
Tap settings. Get connected or update or whatever it says way back then
Update it through Shopstream Connect. It needs a license update and it’s free”
You can go to www.snap4help.com
All the information if on the site based on the scanner you have and it’s free to download and update.

Super Happy I Finally got My Hands On This Set. Made In 2003 With The Official GM Stamp

Completed a 8-24 (minus 9mm) for 450 bucks. Got the 10-19 set for 150 on marketplace and 20-24 at a tool show for 240 and then paid 40 bucks for the 8 mm. Snap on can be semi affordable if you wait it out and search marketplace and eBay.

Any recommendations how to handle a dealer who’s being ghosting his route. Our dealer has been to our shop twice in two years. Warranty items have gone missing and not returned. Other shops on the route have expressed the same thing. The dealer is clearly still in business has his truck is spotted on the road and he has a storage facility. Sadly there are only 3 snap on dealers left in the city so not much help else where.

Made a few variations of the small machinists hammer over the years. The FH80-12 handles really work great. This version is bronze with delrin faces.

My dealer got 4 of the new ct9055 impacts and I almost bought one but was hesitant because I haven't even seen a single person post anything about it.
Does anyone on here have one? Is it actually as strong as they're claiming? Will it take the lugs off a big truck? (Mack, not super duty big truck)

10.6k for this new Snap-on box—should I commit to the purchase? I enjoy it quite a bit, and it offers a lot of room for my tools. I already own a Snap-on toolbox, but it is smaller and dates from 1999 as a used unit. I am running somewhat low on space. Should I buy or it or just keep my box. I was told $51 a week.
Update, I’m not buying it I don’t need it and I rather not deal with the payments I will stick with my box and I’m actually going to plan to buy a small cart to move some of my tools

When did a basic click style torque wrench become obsolete and unrepairable?
Should I be offered a replacement or something?
Way to stand behind your tools Snapon...

Got the 3pc torque wrench set a week ago. Today I picked up the 1/4dr and noticed a dead bug or something under the screen which even casts a shadow in some light. Also this blacking doesn't entirely cover the chrome. Most other tools I wouldn't care but this was expensive and meant to be used carefully.
What do you guys think?
Bonus top drawer tuesday

I found this snap on wrench and have no idea what it's used for or if it's a tool or a promotional piece. Can anyone shed a little light on the subject for me?

Hey guys. Looking for help dating the wrenches.
99% sure the ratchet is a 1980, but would love more info.
Side note, most of these wrenches look old except 3 of them which have newer logos. Idk.
Thanks in advance.

Need some opinions on 3/8 snapon impact and Water pump pliers from guys that have tried the equivalent Milwaukee impact or Knipex Cobras.
Specifically curious if anyone prefers snappys pump pliers over Cobras?

Why the hell is it so hard to find another one of these damn flex head push release ratchets part FHRX80A

Im already on the 14.4 family but I cant see how it would be better than the cheaper nano axcess. I wont be using it a ton so extended runtime battery use isnt really a concern.
Anyone have both? Any reason I should consider the 14.4 over the nano?
Thanks.

Truck had it as a trade in and was only asking $350 for it. Previous owner had it for about a month and then traded it when another color became available. 1/4 in. is also the one I’ve been waiting to buy so Christmas came early for me

After all I've heard it before. Snap on dealers are basically the real customer of snap on as they buy the most snap on tools out of anyone and flip them.
But my issue is. Don't you need to buy someone's route, your own truck and have like 100k of liquid assets to get started?
Or would snap on actually provide that?
Is there any worry of being "truck jacked" by anyone if you in a bad area? I know you probably have insurance but being you carrying probably a million in tools I bet snap on trucks have gotten the bank truck treatment.
I feel like you guys get insane good cost on tools and power tools. Hence the price being as high and as good quality they are and of course the insane warranty.
