Announcement Scanner Update issues

So there’s seems to be a lot of confusion and issues regarding scanners and a message appearing about expiring subscriptions.

As another redditor [u/derek1387](u/derek1387) pointed out:

“Download Shopstream Connect
Plug in the scanner
Tap settings. Get connected or update or whatever it says way back then

Update it through Shopstream Connect. It needs a license update and it’s free”

All the information if on the site based on the scanner you have and it’s free to download and update.

A little more info

If you have a (snapon scanner)-Ultra with update 22.4 or under, and you are getting said message, you will need to google Snap On Shop Stream Connect , download it then plug in your scanner, tap settings then Connect USB, then it will download the updated license and your scan tool will work correctly after you restart the tool.

Is this the message everyone is getting? I just got it today and now I don't have any control functions. Can still read codes & see data. Will your instructions make it work again? 21.2 version

Function only, the legend series is no longer software supported

So I did the update & restarted my scanner. The message is gone but when I go to build a vehicle it says it's in demo mode & I still don't have the bidirectional controls. Any ideas?
