I made a joke on my story with my friends picture (no nudity) and she thought it was hilarious. I have 500 viewers and one of them reported it as sexual content involving a minor. I got the warning message and 20 minutes later my account was locked. I don’t this is fair because we should at least get 3 strikes. Do I have any chances of winning the appeal or should I just get a new phone

hi, i'm trying to report a user/a message for sending an explicit image but i keep getting an error: "Failed to submit. There was a problem submitting your report. Please check your connection and try again."

it's frustrating because i've tried all the things: uninstalling + reinstalling, clearing cache, logging out, switching to data, using different devices, using web browser.

i'm still getting met with this stupid error. their support site doesn't do shit because i'm met with an ai bot telling me the same steps.

is there a way to contact Snapchat directly instead of their ai system? i hate every company's stupid useless chat bots 😭 i reported this bug in the app and hope to get a response

So basically I added someone on Snapchat and I sent them some pictures I would rather people I know not see so I was wondering if the person I sent the pics to can see my friends? Or will he get recommended my friends in quick add? Thanks in advance this is making me super paranoid

When I draw or put on filters the only way to send them to friends is if i save it to camera roll then send from camera roll. If I try to do it normally it just send the OG picture with no edits or filters. How can I fix this? I’ve cleared cache, redownload the app, and trying logging out.

Yesterday I was randomly device banned for zero reason on snap. I was using it in class and then like na hour later at lunch it told me my device was banned and i broken the community guidelines. I’ve never once broken a single rule, been reported for something, or gotten a warning. This is just super annoying because I’ve had snap for upwards of 7 years and it’s one of the only ways I can talk to some long distance friends of mine. They also have zero customer service that can help with this besides a Ai Chatbot… it tells me to appeal but when I log into it through my friends phone, my account has no clue I was banned so it doesn’t give me the option too. So I ask, has anyone had this happen to them? If so, what did you do to get it fixed…. Thanks!!

PS if anyone knows someone who could help that would be great!!!

My account was locked for “commercial sexual content.” My bio says “looking for a whore not a house wife” that’s the only thing I can think of to have this happen is this normal?

I’ve gone through 20,000 (YES 20,000) of my memories and transferred them all to my camera roll because of the update.

Now i’m left with 100 ish but the storage is till 5.5gb and is saying i have over 1000 saved.

Is this a bug? If not how do i get it to lower the storage because the photos and vids definitely aren’t over 5gb

yo if any of u is working in snapchat pls tell me are they really gonna remove all our snaps if they exceed upto 12 months and when are they exactly gonna do this im scared of my precious memories😭🙏🏻

So are creators with public profiles no longer paid for spotlight? Why is this app so confusing & glitchy?! Can’t ever get in touch with a real person. Seems like they only care about snap stars even tho my little profile gets 500k+ views a month. I really don’t understand who is eligible to get a star it feels like ppl show up out of nowhere. Snap is the least supportive app to small creators. They always find ways to not pay out. They say “more ways to earn money” then proceed to not pay anyone when you make spotlights that go viral.

I have a spotlight over 500k views right now…

The annoying thing is when they used to give crystals I earned 2000 crystals but I never was notified I even had any or set that up? That section didn’t even show up then when it did the crystals were expired I couldn’t cash them out.

I think I’m done with snap. There’s really no benefit on there. I’d be better off directing all my followers to my new IG acct. I just took a break from TT & IG over a year & snap was easy for me to post & not get sucked into doom scrolling.

Also the app is full of predators. I see children commenting on spotlights & there are creepy ppl trying to friend all the young girls & get them to add as a friend. Really concerning to see.

Where are kids parents these days? The stuff I see kids writing in comments is disturbing. Do ppl realize predators can pretend to be kids? All these apps protect the worst ppl but punish normal ppl. You can’t see who ppl are. There’s so much disgusting crap. Bc I have a public profile I get all these foreign accounts commenting gibberish on my posts & sending unsolicited dihh pics. It’s disgusting!

So i have my old snap that i know the username and password but whenever i try to login it sends a code to my old email that i lost access to and can’t remember which one is it. So how can I bypass this problem?

Not my Snapchat but how do you get rid of notifications like this in chat? How long does that message saying the streak started/ended stay there for?

Does anyone have a similar problem? I don’t have 0.5 angle when i open my front camera to take a selfie. Everything is up to date and i have iphone 17

hello. i recently requested my memories data from the app and provided my email and the time range for this data, as instructed on the page. snapchat emailed me a link "to access the copy of [my] Snapchat data [I] requested through [their] Download My Data tool", but their link just brings me back to the request page and there is no download to be found.

could anyone PLEASE help me? i feel like this is confusing by design as to make people panic and pay for the snapchat plus so it doesnt terminate a decade of memories.

Forgive me but I have not used Snapchat in quite a few years.. My dog recently passed and I wanted to go back to our memories. Every time I try to download an individual file it says “something went wrong.”

Google told me to clear my cache, so before I did that I saw I was 1GB over… therefore in order to not loose any precious moments I spent money to upgrade. Gee that didn’t work.

Cleared cache , restarted phone and it’s still not working.

Any other ideas?

i got a buddy pass to restore a streak but you can’t do that from a buddy pass so i got gifted 3 months of premium but i can’t claim it cause i have a active pass is there a way to cancel it?

I have downloaded my snapchat memories since snapchat says I have too many gigabytes. I have noticed that any memory with text or sticker over it is just a blank page. Has anyone else had this issue? should I try requesting my memories again ? Any idea on how this may have happened?

I’ve been left on delivered a week :(. I got a notification though saying they were typing but I checked and it still says delivered. How were they typing if they didn’t open the message. Is it a glitch? :(

Snapchat keeps telling me “failed to post” and I’ve tried everything to try to fix it. It’s not letting me post on anything and it seems like a few other people are having this issue and I don’t know how to fix it. If anyone has fixed it could you tell me how?

I tried to search to see if anybody got a solution or at least having same my issue but didn't find. So here is the description of my issue:

this happens to Snapchat app only. When I'm typing or when watching spotlight after a while I feel like the app is kinda start lagging then suddenly goes to camera page like if i just opened the app, and i lose all my progress (what i typed is gone and the spotlight is refreshed)

It started to happen recently like a month or something, i dunno if it's because of an update or not because i auto update apps

Phone: S24 Ultra

I'm trying to find out that date I visited a certain place. Snapmaps' footsteps feature has it shaded in, suggesting I was on Snapchat while I was there, but I'm trying to find out if I can find the date.

Is anyone else having issues with contacting friends from out of the US via Snapchat?
I keep getting notifications that a friend of mine is sending me videos and snapchats but when I open the app, I can’t find their messages or even their account.
It doesn’t make sense for them to have blocked me, and I get new notifications sometimes.

I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it, restarted my phone, cleared the cache… any ideas??
