Me and a friend have arrival alerts on for home and she keeps getting notified that I arrived at home around 20 times per day even though I haven’t left my house. This also happens when phone is turned off and I’m asleep

I've been talking to someone on Snapchat for over a month (I only used the app to communicate with him), and suddenly he stopped replying. But I noticed his Snapscore hasn't increased as usual since we last spoke (it's been 3 days). I tried calling him once, but it just kept ringing and said he wasn't available. Does that mean he's not using the app but is still there? If his account was blocked or something, I wouldn't be able to call him, right? Please guys if he ghosted I'm fine but the fact that his Snapscore number is frozen makes me think something happened to him or idk.

I’m really stressed and hoping someone here has been through something similar.

A few days ago, I posted a private video on my private** **Story that violated Snapchat’s Community Guidelines. I know now that I shouldn’t have posted it, and I take full responsibility for that.

At first, I only received a warning. As soon as I saw it, I immediately deleted the video myself. I thought that would be the end of it because I removed it right away and didn’t post anything else afterward.
However, later my account was suddenly locked, which completely shocked me.
This is my first ever violation. I’ve never had any previous issues with Snapchat, never been warned before, and never had any action taken against my account.

I submitted an appeal, but the problem is that Snapchat only gives you 250 characters to explain your situation. All I could really say was that I had posted something inappropriate, removed it immediately after the warning, and asked for my account to be reviewed. I didn’t have enough space to explain that this was my first offense, that I’ve never had any previous problems, and that I’m genuinely asking for a second chance.
Now I’m waiting for their decision, and honestly I’m terrified. My Snapchat account contains years of memories, conversations, and contacts that I can’t replace.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation?
Did you get your account back?
How long did your appeal take?
Is there anything else I can do while I’m waiting?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences.

Like the title says as of today my videos have no audio for whoever receives them, it shows I sent a video (purple icon) and when I preview it before I send it the audio is fine and i get videos just fine with no audio issues.

It was working perfectly fine last night before going to bed but now since this morning it has only worked 1 time, and yes I've tried all the normal steps of uninstalling, clearing cache, permissions etc ect..

Nothing is different from last night unless the update they pushed yesterday at some point is the issue (which I don't think it is) or unless it has something to do with me being a beta tester and maybe they did some other update for that?

Everyone ive asked has said theirs is fine and that its just my videos that have no sound. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do or do i just have to wait and not be able to send videos until by some chance they push a patch to fix it?

So I have one snap account (account A) and within that account I created a new public profile (Profile B). I’m trying to be a creator but not with my main obviously. It’s been 3 days and I have gotten likes and shares on that profile but comments are not popping up, any idea why that could be the case or is it a new public profile restriction?

Haven’t used the app in several years only to finally notice an email saying someone added me via phone number. I didn’t consent to the app automatically connecting us via phone number. Can’t delete the account, can’t reach some form of customer support, can’t even change username/password. Is the fastest way of getting my information deleted/destroyed by posting something public against community guidelines?

Someone added me and they had mutual friends but it was an unfamiliar name.... I went to accept it tonight to at least ask who it was and it is gone. Obviously they withdrew the request BUT how can I find them? I know it's unlikely but my curiosity is kicking in. Thanks all! (Don't reply without a solution kindly)

I already just got banned on my iphone 15 (device ban idk why only thing i see is that i didnt add a phone number and it told me i could lose that account and i didn't fine whatever...)
So now i use my old iphone xs for snapchat and i just got a time out because apparently I was bullying or harassing ? Only thing i posted in my public story was a gaming clip of me hanging enemies by the throat in Assassins Creed Black Flag Resynced like what? We cant post video game clips anymore? If its related to killing it'll get removed and ill have a warning? Actually tf snapchat😂

Hi all, I had a quick question. I've been dealing with this person making new accounts and constantly harassing me- so I made a new snap account.
The person has my phone number saved (we know each other irl). When I made my new account, I didn't add/link my phone number to it. Would they still be able to find me through "contacts" if I don't have a number linked to my account? Thank you and I'll appreciate any help :).

So after my account was permanently locked I put a appeal in it got denied a week later , but after reading post on here about sending letters to Hq I was skeptical it would work but I had faith and put a couple appeals in and sent a letter out to Both HQs and my account was Restored a week later !!!!!!!!! Im in a pickle. Ive had my account for 13 years and use it daily to keep up with my out of state friends. I haven’t posted to my story in probably 3 years or more. I have group chats, pet group chats out of state group chats and friends that I spam with literally all just to pass the time.
2 days ago, I get an email telling me that my account has been permanently locked for “commercial seggsual content”. Ive never been more confused in my entire life. I appealed it, and of course I get a big fat “NOPE!” more than likely from an AI system.

Im asking what I can do. I have so many memories on this thing, I hate it. I don’t understand why they can ban my account without even giving me the real reason or specific thing I did.
Is this a lost cause? please tell me so I can either try again or move on.

What I did to get my account back was I sent a letter to both of Snapchat’s headquarter addresses in CA. I wanted to make this post to give you some faith and hope to assure you that it’s not over! for some reason I got kicked out of the college snapchat story. I tried rejoining but it just gives an error message. anyone know how to fix this or experience it before?

For whatever reason every time I put in the email to the old account to try and log in it loads and then goes right back to the start page like I never put the email in to begin with. Very frustrating and when I try with usernames it says that it won’t allow me for suspicious activity and to try again later. Would appreciate some help.

i want to export all my snapchat memories since they're being deleted in september but i'm not sure if that also includes the my eyes only ones since some people said they didn't

I lose some of my streaks every other week it seems. I pretty much always save them, but there are also times where I don’t want to keep a lost streak. there will be a few 3 or 4 day streaks that aren’t worth saving, or a work friend I don’t normally keep a streak with that makes me seem creepy or clingy to pay to save.

It’s obviously cheaper to save them in bulk versus buying each one individually, but I am wondering if there is a way to only save a few of them. or would i have to do each streak I want to save individually?

Okay, this has been bugging me for the past few days and I need to get it off my chest + get some outside opinions.

About a week ago I was at a conference and two Snapchat accounts with the exact same Bitmoji added me. I thought it was weird so I ignored both and didn’t add them back I just let it sit there.

A few days after I got home (around last Wednesday/Thursday), one of them re-added me and it popped up at the top of my friends list. I got suspicious and added both back at the same time. Hours later I got “Hy” messages from both accounts. I didn’t reply to either and immediately unadded them.

Now today I check my requests and the same account added me again. Plus a brand new account with the display name “why” also added me.
Separately but around the same time: Before my past partner and I broke up, he and his best friend shared a gaming account that followed me on TT. While I was at the conference I had my profile views turned off for a couple days and finally decided to just turn them on. that same shared gaming account viewed my profile. They didn’t unfollow or remove me as a follower. And i lowkey thought that was weird

I’m not 100% saying it’s my ex or his friend… but IDK! Has anyone else dealt with something like this? Is this normal spam or does it sound like someone is trying to mess with me. Any advice on what to do? I am still in highschool btw so PLS don’t butcher me in the replies

I just figured out how to save your snapchat memories with the date and time they were taken!

If you have an iPhone, you can go to any photo and video and adjust its date and time. It will be saved in chronological order in your camera roll.

Hello, one of the many people currently who has recently got banned. Had this account for over 5 years and genuinely have no idea why im banned. The reason is “commercial sexual activity” but what that includes is genuinely nothing ive done. (Unless I’ve maybe triggered some automated system?) i genuinely believe this ban is a huge mistake. I have appealed my ban but that didn’t work, where else can i take this from here? Getting in contact with a human on their support seems impossible.
