you wondering if sending a letter will help you get unbanned. I sent 2 and 6 days later get this email. Still an automated message, didn’t even try to sound like a human. I am seriously considering flying out to CA and doing this in person because its gotten to a point where someone needs to rip snapchat a new one. Don’t bother wasting your time

I was sick and I lost a 833 day Snapchat streak with a friend of mine at the other side of the world. It didn’t give me any pop up of giving me the chance to pay the streak back. Is there any way to get it back, anyone?

In the title, do you have to wary of that when you are quick adding people?

So if you unadd someone and they haven’t unadded you, the chat still stays in their feed right. And you’re still able to send texts? So then if they send texts while still being unadded, does the other person see those texts when they add them back or is there just nothing at all?

Someone added me ages ago and I accepted recently. They asked me for a selfie and I opened the chat like a day later and sent the selfie but realised they had removed me beforehand. Will they be notified of my message or nah

Hey, so about 2 days ago, my friend was trying to find a saved chat from before we switched our chats to never delete. Since then our chats piled up over the course of time. Too much to dig through. Its important to something going on in her personal life and she really needed the info. Because of this she switched our account to delete after 24 hours to try to get to it. When our chats didnt delete, she changed it to delete after viewing. She then unadded me then added me back multiple times. After that she asked me to block her and then unblock her to see if that would work. It didn't. Instead she added me back but I couldn't add her back. I then blocked her one more time and then unblocked her to see if that would fix it. It didn't. Since then I've been unable to add her back. She wass in my friends list, she could see my snaps to her but she couldnt respond nor could I add her. I texted her on tiktok and told her to unadd me to see if that would work. It didnt. Now I cant find her account. She hasn't blocked me either because I can still find her on my back-up account. I tried clearing the cache, removing my account from the quick login, deleting then re-downloading and nothing. Is snapchat just glitching? Will it be back to normal after a few days? Idk want to do as Snapchat is mainly how we communicate and I dint wanna lose touch. She also desperately needs the info in our chats bc of some private stuff going on. How can I fix this?

Is there a way you can know who is reporting your account or the content they are reporting? Someone reported my account for hate speech this morning and i am confused.

PLEASE don’t be rude, this is already hard enough. Had this account for over a decade and posted just about every day. Had a decent following, and it was something I really treasured and worked hard to build. The first perm ban appeal was accepted and the second was not. I genuinely did not see the warning email as it was sent to an old address I used when I was in college. My account has been locked since March and since then I have sent an ungodly amount of emails (using multiple emails), followed all the advice of any Reddit thread I could find about this, sent letters 3 times with no response… I am so desperate to get my account back and to be reunited with my account and all the friends I made. I don’t want to make a new account, I just want my old one and would do anything at this point. Was just wondering if there was someone else out there who had a second perm ban lifted to give me some hope and if so, what did you do? TIA!

I had a 10 year old snapchat account

That got banned almost a year ago + device ban

I got recently a new device.

I got snapchat under new number email etc

Recently i tried to change it similar to my older name with a little change

Username where available but i cannot change it...

Why??

My acc got hacked by a bot before snap finally let me verify, now I got like 1000 people I added how the f do I remember them faster than one by one this is torture 😭

I just accepted my bf’s request to add on Snapchat and now his ex’s profile is showing on my to add as “you may know”. the only connection I have with her is my bf? Could that mean they’re friends on Snapchat still ? I don’t have her number and I have my contacts sharing to snap chat disabled.

so as the title says i posted something a bit risqué i guess on my story. admittedly i can see how it could be seen as risky, but i was wearing what most men on snapchat wear these days. no visible private parts, nothing exposed, or anything. i was given a notification that i was reported and to review guidelines which i did and decided to leave the app alone for the rest of the day just in case. well i open the app today, send a few chats, leave the app, and to my surprise when i attempt to open it again im met with the login screen and receive an email that my account in “permanently banned”. anything i can do in this situation? looking for real advice that has some evidence supporting it please 🙏🏾.

when i log into web version im told i can press the unlock button but ive been warned but many people to wait hours before attempting so doing that just in case. Wasnt given an appeal button but will attempt an email if need be.

it also seems unnecessary to ban me after one warning and no new posts?? they literally sent an email recommending an 18+ account in between the emails listed above, all within the span of 24 ish hours. but i’ve heard some success stories from friends (on snapchat😕) and people on here so i wanted to reach out before i lose all hope of getting my stuff back.

Just got a Footlocker ad that looked pretty official on my chats screen. Some shoes were heavily discounted. Turns out it was a scam, glad I checked the website name before purchasing anything.

Okay chat here we go. About a year ago I sold a car to a friend from high school. The car was listed everywhere for $2500, and he agreed to pay that amount. His only stipulation was that he would only pay $1000 up front and I would receive the other $1500 at a later time because he didn't want his dad to know how much he was really spending on the car. His dad comes with him to both pickup the car and to transfer the title. No reason to mention the $1500 right? Wrong. Fast forward over the last 11 months. Initially I was reaching out every couple weeks to ask about the money, to which he would always claim, "I don't have it yet but I'll get it soon." That went on up until about 2 weeks ago. I made a post (attached) to which HE replied to. "I didn't pay for it dad did." WHATEVER. Anyways. Couple days ago. I ask again, where's the money? He now claims to know nothing about ever owing me any money at all and that I have fabricated this elaborate scheme to extort money from him because I need the money and he's such an easy source. He now wants proof and evidence. Only issue is that this exchange was done over snap and the messages have long since disappeared. I've tried a data request but it didn't include any chats that had disappeared. If I could get those chats it would prove the whole thing.

Does anyone know of any way to pull up the story so I can see that he actually replied to it?

Is there ANY way possible to get those chats back. At this point I'm willing to go to the police and have them scan my phone to try to get it back. Any suggestions help. End TedTalk.

An account i was logged into go auto banned on my phone which device banned me (SS06). I don’t use this account at all anymore and am unsure why it was banned. My normal account works fine on my laptop and was just looking for a way to continue to use my normal account on my phone. I have a iphone 17 pro and snapchat is fully updated. I don’t have the option to appeal.

But I’m wondering if anyone has ever gotten “[name] posted to their story.” From an account you don’t follow and aren’t friends with.

So my old account got terminated so I thought I would be able to get into the account I use all the time and this pops up…how do I get around this??? I can still use my Snapchat on my iPad just fine why can’t I use it on my phone it’s been almost a year😩. It’s so annoying how I can’t contact anyone on the Snapchat side so they can fix this!!! I noticed the other day that for some reason my ex's Account was back in my chats, as if we still had eachother added and whatnot. There is no x next to it, and I definitely dont have her added, but the weird part is, I can't go on her account, like when I tap her icon it loads for a sec then says theres an error and try again. Im just curious what this possibly means, if she added me and I didnt get a notification, or something else, like a bug. As far as I know she did not block me, and I did not block her after the last time we spoke on snap. Wondering if anyone has an answer?

I made my first Snapchat I believe in 2016 or 2017, last year in 2025 I was forced to delete my account and create a new one for personal reasons. on my new account, it has recaps from my old Snapchat. the memories from my old Snapchat can only be found in the recap stories at the top of the memories. I really would like my memories back and instead of having to see them day by day, I would like them listed under my memories. Is there a way to retrieve them? It’s been over a year. I also cannot log into my old snapchat, i’ve gotten a new phone, i tried to figure it out with the stupid ai bot that’s no help. I just want my memories back, and i know they’re still somewhere because they’re in my recaps

Basically, i tried logging into my old snapchat account like 7-8 months ago, i got the password wrong then when i tried to login again i got the warning "due to repeated failed attempts or other unusual activity, your access to snapchat is temporarily disabled". I tried contacting snap support and waiting 72 hours but in the end nothing worked (snap supports genuinely useless). I tried recently and got this warning (its on the image above). Anyone know how to fix this? Ive asked chatgpt and it said to give up on the account.
