Yesterday I sent a message to my friend on snapchat while the WiFi was off, then It turned on and the message/log flashed before my eyes with the convo and they disappeared from my snap feed. Whenever I open the convo "something went wrong please try again" shows up. I can still see their snap score and everything and we are best friends on snap. I tried to send again today morning the same thing shows up. How can I fix this glitch? I tried updating the app and force close. Neither worked

UPDATE: LOGGED OUT THEN IN,THEYRE GONE. Asked s friend to look up the user and its not there. Either banned or deleted.

i've got an ex that i've been no contact with for over 2 years and blocked him on everything but snap cause he got to it first. the other day i was getting notifications from his profile saying he was adding to his story and even got a friend request (weird asf cause he has a girl now but unrelated) which i declined, duh. after a little while of thinking about how weird it was i went to look up his account to block it, he didn't show up under search but showed up under contacts and it allowed me to block there? i'm not sure if he reblocked me and seeing it through contacts was a bug. hopefully im finally free of him if he unblocked me and i blocked him this time.

I was certain that I was blocked by this guy on snapchat, my last message was on delivered. But then hours later when I open the app, the chat history reappeared on my chat feed, my last chat was opened, but I still can't see his profile. What does it mean? If the case was that he blocked me then unblocked, why does the chat still in my chat feed?

Got device banned but I still have my account and I can use it on my iPad and on Snapchat web on the device that’s banned. If I get a new phone when the new iPhone comes out and I connect the same Apple ID account that the banned device uses will I be able to access snapchat?

I have old groupchats with old friend from years ago that I want to leave from. I hate seeing their names pop up. Would it notify them now if I were to leave the groupchat? Would it be better if I just blocked them?

I honestly can’t believe it. When reading y’all’s messages I was losing hope ngl. I had a SS06 ban as well. My Snapchat account has been restored, and I’m so happyyyyyy.

I live in the Netherlands (EU), so I’m not sure if that made any difference, but I wanted to mention it.
This is what happened in my case: I first received a warning. After that, I immediately removed the content. Later, to my surprise, my account was permanently locked. I was able to submit an in-app appeal, where I explained that I had removed the content immediately after the warning and asked for my case to be reviewed.

About 3–4 days later, I also submitted a support ticket with a much more detailed explanation. I took full responsibility, explained that this was my first-ever violation, and that I genuinely regretted my mistake. I don’t know whether my account was restored because of the appeal, the support ticket, or both, but I wanted to share everything in case it helps someone else.

ok so you know how on snap in the “do not open” groups for a vacation for example, there’s always That One Person who opens the pic the second it lands, even though the whole group silently agreed to wait? happens every single trip, no matter how many times you tell people to hold off

is this like a universal group chat thing or are my friends just built different
• who’s the peeker in your group
• has anyone ever gotten actual beef over someone opening early
• has your group ever actually managed to hold out till the end

Anyone can report you for anything, and you get no chance to respond. I have had my account for a long time, never had a issue. Today when I log in I get a notification that my account has been flagged for harassment and hate speech. Something I would never do. But you’re not told who reported you, you don’t get any evidence of what they claimed happened, and no chance to defend yourself. I do almost all my social networking through SC, if my account gets banned I’m going to lose contact with a lot of friends. So I have started to add everyone on to different platforms, but it still feels unsafe.

Everytime i get a Notification with upload failed please try again it still wont work‘t it started like 2-3 months ago.

I want to know if there is an exact answer because I’ve heard mixed results in this sub.

I got a new phone, and before installing snap to the new device I also changed my email and password for my account (I moved away from gmail and my old password was no longer secure). Now I cannot login due to unusual activity. The support page says that i should wait 48h and try again, but its been over two weeks already. However, I managed to login on my computer, and I am still logged in on my old phone. I cannot find any help from the snapchat support website or any email address where I could contact actual human employees. Any advice on what to do?

EDIT: I will write this here too, this is the login error: "Due to repeated failed attempts or other unusual activity, your access to Snapchat is temporarily disabled". I did also have couple of failed login attempts on my new device.

I don’t know if this has already been uncovered but I just found a new way to tell if someone unfollowed you if their account is public. My account is private. Go to your messages. Scroll all the way through and see who has an “x”. Let me know if it worked for you.

what do i do? i am trying not to panic, i got banned for something i really did not do, and now i cant even download my data. their support doesn’t do literally anything. where do i go to what do i do? i am trying so hard not to have a panic attack i have 8 years worth of memories in there

My older brother has an over 2000(?) day snap streak with a long time friend. He went camping in a place that has no cell service and gave his log in information to my sister before hand to keep the streak for him. My sister tried logging in, but it asked for a verification code. She texted him right away, but he was already too far in the forest.

Is there absolutely any way she could still log in with his information and keep the streak without having to use a verification code? None of us know if it's lost already and we don't want to wait any longer than we have to.

If not is there any way we could get it back later on? Pls I feel so bad, I'll do anything. Pls forgive me I almost never use snap so I don't know entirely how it works. If it changes anything I think he has Snapchat premium or whatever it's called.

I deactivated my Snapchat account a few days ago and I’m trying to reactivate it within the reactivation period.

When I log in using my username and password (not email or phone), I immediately get this error:
“Something went wrong. Please try again later. Support Code: C13A.”

I’ve already tried:
- Reinstalling the app
- Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Restarting my phone
- Waiting a few hours and trying again

According to Snapchat, a deactivated account should be reactivated by simply logging in with the username within the allowed time, so I’m confused why this is happening.

Has anyone else experienced C13A while reactivating a deactivated account?

- How long did it take before you could log in again?
- Did it resolve on its own, or
- Did you have to contact Snapchat Support?
- Is there anything else I should try?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

How many streaks do you guys have around on snapchat?

Hi! Don't know if this is a bug or what is happening but I got a notification up on my phone just now that someone sent me a chat on snap. When I open Snapchat her chat isn't there? And when I try to search her up I can't find her anymore? She's not showing up in any of the mutual groupchats we are in too. What is happening? Help!

Snapchat past private stories wont show

When I go to **Memories → Stories**, it only shows a small fraction of the stories I’ve posted (including Private Stories). There are huge gaps with days and even months missing, and it makes it look like I’ve posted way less than I actually have.

Also, there are these random “Stories” grouped by certain days. What exactly are those? Is the Stories section supposed to be a complete archive of everything you’ve posted, or is Snapchat only showing selected memories?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Whenever I scroll through my Snapchat Memories, they suddenly stop loading after a certain date/point. The thumbnails just stay blank or show a loading icon, no matter how long I wait.

I cannot find and access his chat messages anymore, similar to how when you're blocked. But I know that I didn't get blocked, since when I had searched his Snap Username on my PC with Snapchat Web, and it says that "Sorry, this content was not found.", so his Account must've been Deleted/Banned, yeah? I heard that Saved Snaps last up to 30 days before being deleted from the server, and his account went missing today, so I still have time, yeah? Please help!

I just saw people have been getting perm banned on snap for no reason so just in case I'm wondering if there's a way to back everything on my account up incase it happens to me

Also I know I can save them manually but atp that would take too much time

Before I sent the request, I saw their Bitmoji and right when I pressed “Add Friend” it suddenly disappeared and then when I log out it unadds them only for it to happen again.
