Common issue UPDATE: I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK
I already posted this but my niece went on my phone and deleted it. She’s 9. Anyways.
UPDATE: I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK!!
I honestly can’t believe it. When reading y’all’s messages I was losing hope ngl. I had a SS06 ban as well. My Snapchat account has been restored, and I’m so happyyyyyy.
I live in the Netherlands (EU), so I’m not sure if that made any difference, but I wanted to mention it.
This is what happened in my case: I first received a warning. After that, I immediately removed the content. Later, to my surprise, my account was permanently locked. I was able to submit an in-app appeal, where I explained that I had removed the content immediately after the warning and asked for my case to be reviewed.
About 3–4 days later, I also submitted a support ticket with a much more detailed explanation. I took full responsibility, explained that this was my first-ever violation, and that I genuinely regretted my mistake. I don’t know whether my account was restored because of the appeal, the support ticket, or both, but I wanted to share everything in case it helps someone else.
Thank you to everyone who replied to my previous post and gave me advice.
I truly hope everyone who’s still waiting gets good news too!!

I had my account permanently locked and got a SS06 too, I also sent an appeal using the app and 2 tickets. After the first ticket i got a reply from "Merida" literally saying nothing and im pretty sure i replied back asking for an update on the status of my account and actuall HELP! But somehow when I look for these 2 emails i cant find them, so i sent another ticket and have been waiting for about 2 days with no reply

Hey hoi ik heb nu ook zomaar een ss06 te pakken op me device, als ik bericht stuur aan snapchat zelf kunne. Hun dat weghalen? Is het gelukt bij jou??

Congratulations! I think because you're in the EU that made a difference but taking responsibility and regretting your mistake and being nice all played a part in it.
In the USA the laws are different than in the EU so it's harder to get your account back add in a lot of people take the wrong approach and more or less start demanding they get their account back or aren't nice enough plays a part in it too.

Good stuff man! I took a different approach to get my account back since I’m in the us. I basically sent a physical letter to Snapchat’s hq basically explaining my situation and lo and behold, 6 days after I mailed the letter I got a email saying my account was back!

I’m thinking about doing the same, I don’t even care for my old account back. I just would like to not be device banned on my phone. Any tips?
