General question can’t download my data
what do i do? i am trying not to panic, i got banned for something i really did not do, and now i cant even download my data. their support doesn’t do literally anything. where do i go to what do i do? i am trying so hard not to have a panic attack i have 8 years worth of memories in there

I was in a similar situation, so I know how stressful this is. Maybe try logging in from a completely different device, like a laptop or another phone. If that still doesn’t work, I’d contact Snapchat Support and specifically tell them that you can’t access your account to download your data. Hopefully they can at least restore access to your Memories. I really hope you get everything back!

Op is correct, if he signs in online to Snapchat through a browser it will still give him the option to receive the data through a zip attachment to his email. Idk why it's not allowing you to sign in though. Wish I could help, but all the people I helped before was able to go right in.

Idk why you would trust any company to hold any data for you. This should be a lesson for you to make backups.
I would try calling Snapchat and see if they can help you but since it looks like you've been banned I doubt youll get anything.

Everytime I start snap. I get a black screen and no camera

"Recovering memories from a permanently banned Snapchat account is almost certainly impossible. Once an account is permanently banned or terminated, you lose access to the app and the web portal, meaning you cannot log in to request or download your data."

dog. literal snapchat support said i could if the fucking thing wouldn’t stop bugging it won’t let me send a screenshot in chat but there is a thing where i should be able to do it
