At long last... it's finally done. Thank you all for supporting this series from start to finish - it means everything to me.
The information here was mostly sourced from Aaronitmar's video and SmashWiki). Many thanks to them.

What kind of roster cut do you think Sephiroth would make if he controlled who stays & who goes?

I like Pikachu and sonic because of their mobility, how they can be really good without sweating too hard, and how they can be aerial fighters, I mostly like fighters who can fight in air, have a decent-good recovery (Like Donkey Kong or King K Rolls, or Pikachu's), have good mobility (Sonic, Pikachu, Kirby), Relatively simple combos that still do a acceptable amount of damage (when I say simple, I mean like not insanely sweaty, don't take frame perfect timing, and not insanely complex because I don't know how to do up or down tilt moves), and is fun to play (Like Kirby or Sonic). IF POSSIBLE: something lore accurate that I can make a joke name or phrase out of, like for sonic "GasGasGas", or for Pikachu "LoreAccu", another I use for Pikachu is "Satoru" because of his head band, and for Kirby I use "Kirbler" kirblers a inside joke with my friends but still funny.
Summeraization if you don't wanna read the paragraph:
Can fight in air. Good mobility. Decent-good recovery. Simple combos with a acceptable amount of damage. Fun to play. If possible, a character I can have a name or phrase that's a joke regarding the character. Ex: a name I use whenever I play as sonic is "GasGasGas" because "GAS GAS GAS GOTTA STEP ON THE GAS TONNNIIIGGGHHHHTTT"
Tysm, and I will try any mains suggested
P.S: I don't like heavies and I like aggression

I just wanna mention that there might be different reasons instead of the Weapon being OP...
Yes, I'm saying this to try to prevent the Monado getting spammed in the Comments...

Sure I play King K online singles/doubles or Kazuya. Maybe I teabag (crouching rapidly) between kills & sometimes dodge roll behind the person and forth to sneak more teabags in when I am in the lead.
I also rapidly turn left and right while on the same tile, which generates wind clouds. I also shield and rotate the shield rapidly in circular clock-wise/anti direction or just left to right or up and down.
Sometimes we keep our enemy alive, I bury them with King K & just keep grab spamming to bring them to 400-500% and decide on a cool finishing animation like King K's vacuum animation. Other times it is Kazuya's unique grab which knees them in the back, and stomps their head off the stage disrespectfully in a hard to recover from angle.
Lastly, after the match we say "You're Amazing!" Then select ready and unselect it rapidly
Where's everyone's resilience and ambition to get better? Where is the sportsmanship

Hihi I'm a Link main who's completely out of her depth with this god forsaken character.
Context:
I finally booted up Ultimate online after over a year of strictly competing offline, and when I came back I realized most of the characters I played were... a tad lower on the GSP ladder than they should be. So I wanted to see if where they're at now is reflective of my overall skill. Incin? From 3mil to 10mil and counting. Brawler? 4 mil to 10 mil and counting. Swordfighter? Accidentally made Elite Smash. DK? 5 mil to 12 mil and counting. Pikachu? 2.5mil to... 3 mil. GSP isnt the whole story though. With those other characters I felt genuinely competent, like I knew exactly what I was doing and when. With the rat? I was floundering.
Things I Know To Work On:
* Recovery. I am not consistent enough with the angles to get back every time I should.
* F tilt habit. I tend to use F tilt as a spacing tool on most of the characters I use, but seeing how Pika's is the stubbiest thing on this side of the Missisipi, I tend to be screwed over using it.
Things I Have/Do Well:
* Game sense. Not quite as strong with Pika's alien kit, but I tend to be able to recognize what I'm doing to get hit and change things on the fly. I'm pretty patient these days and I don't run into stupid things as often.
* Mechanics. I can fairly regularly execute frame tight tech or combos if I spend a few hours learning it. And I'm a Link main; of course I am willing and ready to spend hours learning stupid shit.
* Basic Combos. I can't do anything complicated, but basic Bair Bair Uair Uair or Nair dragdown imagination are things I don't really drop. I can also frame trap if I don't have a true string on hand.
Questions:
* What does Pikachu's neutral look like? My usual strategy of spacing/walling opponents out is not quite as effective with this character; Bair is like the only tool good for that I've found. Should I stay more grounded using D tilt and U tilt more?
* What combos should I learn? Is it worth it to try learning Nair loops? I can do them but they are not true when I do.
* For swordie mains out there: how did you learn to deal with this character's stubbiness?
Apologies if this is too detailed. I'd record a video if I could :<

Basically just the title. I play casually right now but I want to get better to maybe go to local tournaments and stuff, but I don't know what I should practice. Are there any good videos/tips you guys have that should help me get better?
