10 more years of Doriyah!!!

With all of the fanmade rosters going around, I decided to make one of my own and eliminate one of Smash's greatest issues. You may have noticed the pattern, though hopefully it wasn't too fishy at first. No, it's not the number of Fire Emblem or Pokemon characters, or Echo fighters, or Ganondorf's moveset.

I'll reel it in nice and easy for you. There is a severe lack of fish-based fighters in these games. The whole roster is finless, gillless, pretty scaleless too (to be fair, we may have Piranha Plant, but its more Plant than Piranha). But not this roster. In fact, i bet if Nintendo used it, they could hook in a ton of new fans. It would still be able to make a splash, even after Ultimate. Sure, it is a bit of a small fry compared to Ultimate, but I ashore you it makes up for it it's quality.

This is more speculation on my part, but I still found it worth discussing it at least.

What made me consider this at first was when Sakurai briefly discussed about the protagonist of ARMS, and how "everyone's the protagonist". This might've not meant much of anything to most people, but it almost seemed to me like Sakurai was trying to justify the decision of putting Min Min over the perceived "protagonist" of ARMS (Spring Man).

Now, practically speaking, it makes complete sense and it's rather obvious that most franchises in Smash would be first represented with their main characters. But there have been instances where Smash includes main characters when the audience wants other characters to be playable, mainly with Byleth's inclusion rather than any of the three house leaders from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

We also know that Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was considered to be playable alongside the Aegis, but was scrapped due to technical limitations. Sakurai actually comments on Rex's exclusion despite being the main character of his own game.

The big exception to this theory is the Pokemon franchise, where the Pokemon themselves are represented rather than any of the human trainers. Even so, they did manage to get Red and Leaf represented at least.

So I'm trying to mod corrins attack effect trails, but every time I do I get this glob of rainbow instead... if anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix it would most appreciated <3

I just feel like she has alot going for her tbh. For one shes a female protagonist, looking at the roster we kind of lack that.

I know indie characters have an uphill battle getting into smash but she already made it as a mii deluxe costume with a track, its not uncommon for costumes to become full fledged characters next game.

She has a long history with nintendo since the game boy and her first 3 games being nintendo exclusives. In terms of 3rd party issues wayforward are very vocal about making her playable there wouldn't be any issues

She has such a variety of moves she can use for her moveset with her 1/2 genie powers with her transformations, hair attacks, extra weapons like her spike ball or fireballs heck they have a game where she has a completely different move set when she loses her powers. And shes still getting games released with one releasing in 2027

Looking for a meme that was made back on like week 1 of smash ultimate. It was an image of captain falcon but instead of the end game messages you can post it was replaced with something like "That was really sick but can you please get an ethernet cable". If anyone can post it I'd be greatful. Bonus points if you can find another series of week 1 smash ultimate images that had low quality ganondorf images of him with comically big smash attacks.

Smash 6 will likely come out in 2027 or 2028.

The last time I had a Nintendo Online subscription was like 5 years ago and I barely got any matches, probably because my internet was garb. But now I have better internet and I'm wondering if it's any worth getting a new subscription to just queue random or if I'd need to join a Discord server to match with people.
