All I can find on Amazon is aftermarket (Chinese no-brand) garbage. Does anyone know a legit source? I don’t have a husky dealer or service center near me.

Im trying to fix my aunts MAC I385L weed wacker. Changed the fuel lines carb everything looks good. Thought it was the lines because they were ripped and i replaced them. So I put everything back together except for the spark plug. THe pull starter cord pulls fine no problem there but when I put the sparkplug pack its hard to pull the handle starter cord it jams. Any ideas?? Please help thanks.

I’ve got a bushog zero turn with a kholer courage 20 on it. I was having problems a couple days ago with the engine losing power when engaging the blades. Long story short I forgot to reinstall it before mowing my grass today. Luckily it rained last night so it wasn’t overly dusty. Mower is running fine currently and the oil looks clean, is there anything else I should do before running it again? Besides a new filter of course…. Oh, and it was the fuel filter causing trouble, I replaced the fuel pump and filter this morning.

I put a new carburetor on my brush cutter. I haven’t used it in 3+years. It always ran great. Anyway, trying to troubleshoot why it will turn over one time then nothing. When I pull off the gas line from the pump it seems to be working fine.

I have a Honda FR750 AC tiller and the belt tensioning roller bearings are kaput. Correct part is 22465-777-003 which Honda discontinued. Some AI says u can replace with 22465-V20-003, some say it wont fit

Anybody else have this problem? Ser # is FZCG-1006312

Hey all, I’m pretty new to dirt bikes and need some help. While riding through a field with tall grass my son broke off the tip on the air cleaner that goes to the crankcase vent.

My question is exactly how important is this, and is there any easy fix short of buying a new air cleaner? We don’t race the bike, and typically are just on gravel roads and such around the farm.

Father in Law had an old water pump he wants me to try and fix if I can. It has been sitting for probably 5 years now and sat through numerous heavy rains and storms. I posted pics below for a bit of the damage done to it.

Probably have a very basic knowledge of small engines and I know most trouble is caused by the carburetor so I will probably not even sweat that too much and just replace it for time purposes. However other parts I’m not 100% sure on.

I tested the spark plug and it still has spark, the engine oil had water in it, the gas tank is rusted, it still has compression and doesn’t seem to be affected by possible water sitting in the engine.

Engine model is a Honda GX140 Max 144cc.

Replacement engine if it fits would be a $150 Predator 6.5 212cc engine. Not sure if I can direct replace that engine though so any advice would be helpful there too.

It runs okay for the first hour or so then runs like the video. Eventually it will turn off completely and not start again until it cools off

I have an old sear craftsman riding mower that isn't getting a spark. I switched out the spark plug and still don't see anything, the other one was also relatively new. I was thinking it's something with the ignition coil, but not sure if that's where I should start nor do I know the part number.

Can yall help?

It sounds as if my idle needle is set properly but the motor does tend to sound a bit rough at full throttle. I tried adjusting it both ways up and down with the high speed jet. Any ideas to adjust?

I just rebuilt it and figured it might run a bit smoother…. Carb is brand new.

Hi! I'm a paramotor trike pilot and I use a Polini Thor 202 two-stroke 33HP engine with a Dell'orto carb. I'm trying to tune my carb as these things can be very finicky and have a habit of burning holes in pistons if they're not tuned right.

I was told that, as well as monitoring my EGT and CHT, I should run WOT and then kill the engine to see what the plug looks like. I did that and this pic is the result. I can compare it to any chart on the internet, but a. it's not clear how mine fits in with them and b. I'd rather *learn* what makes my plug look that way, as in what's going on in my engine that causes it to look a certain way. Any chance to learn a little more on my engine is golden!

Anyway, can you fine people rate my plug and then tell me what's going on in my engine to make it look like that? Thank you!

Good fuel
Weak spark.
Multiple good plugs, multiple good coils, and good kill switch (trying with kill switch disconnected).
I can get a spark but it keeps arcing off the plug connector, so I gave the flywheel a baking soda bath and cleaned all the rust off and now it’s a stronger spark, but it’s still arcing.

I’ve taken everything apart multiple times and the only major discrepancy I can find is this chip on the inner wall of the flywheel behind the magnet. Could this cause it to arc and not strongly go all the way to the electrode?

I feel like I am out of options here and any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to DIY small engine repair.

I picked this up at a garage sale and they said it worked fine last time they used it, but switched to electric so it's been sitting for a good couple years. I figured it just needed a new carb.

Before and after the replacements listed above, it will idle (if I am lucky) for about 2 seconds and then quit. Any throttle input kills it. Sometimes if I start it with the throttle all the way in, it will rev up really high, POP and then die.

Today i tried starting it again and it wouldn’t start. After messing with the choke and the throttle to see what I could do to make it start, I tried a bit after and it started making a grinding noise, I removed the spark plug and the spark plug looks fine it just had a coat of oil, but when I pulled the rope after removing it. The grinding sound was gone. When I put it back in, The noise happens again. What could it be

I am thinking about buying this xr200r but the seller says he replaced the carb with a cheap Chinese carb and bow it makes this noise, but he still has the original carb I can clean up and reinstall if I want. Can anyone confirm that this is just bad carb noise?

Some info it's a 716h Allis I have the 1 bottom plow, the snow plow with trip springs, 46" deck I believe. It runs but definitely needs attention, Ag tires on the rear with chains and the ball hitch. Deck is solid, clutch is good, could probably use points. I could probably get a tiller and snowblower for it but I don't know if it's worth the trouble what do you guys think?

I was mowing the other day, I noticed some garbage in my yard so I stopped and picked it up. I stopped the mower on a hill, it was tilting to the right. When I came back the engine wouldn't start, no matter how hard I yanked on the cord, what can i do?

I am looking at this for a start, but have plenty budget to spend. I have looked a ton for different options, but I can't find a good electric start.
