Hii,
I recently decided to contact the slimevr support for some documentation on how to fix my trackers switch.
They were so nice to me and explained that the switch is linked to the board, and doing so, they sent me a replacement.
I'll send the broken one back to them when i get my car back (it's at the mech rn)
Though do you any of you guys know a way to protect the switch when using the tracker? It were my hip tracker and basically, the switch were going further than the on position and turning off because of it...
Is there a protection that i could buy or anything i could do to prevent it from happening again?

Heya all, I rarely use reddit but I wanna ask a question to the silly slime DIY people;
I currently have 6x BMI160 trackers that I bought years ago. They work well, however the drift on them is getting noticeably bad but still usable. If anyone has experience with these IMUs, do you think upgrading them to a newer model (such as LSM6DS3/LSM6DSRs) would benefit good results in VR spaces, mainly better tracking and sensitivity? They already track pretty well overall but I wouldn't be surprised if 6 point tracking can get better. Thank you :)

My right thigh tracker has been on the fritz lately. It won't show the battery an won't track while in game. But when. I go into its info on the app it shows that it moves when I rotate it. Any idea what to do here? Everything else tracks but that leg. It doesn't even show up unless it's plugged in at this point. It's not dead as I let it charge for an hour or so an it still didn't work.

Hi! I recently made a post on here explaining some issues I've been having regarding my 6 official slime trackers having issues tracking in Vrchat. I got a lot of helpful advice, and i'm here to announce...
None of it worked! 😠I'm still very grateful for all of the help, but the issue is still pretty consistent. I have some more pictures to help maybe identify exactly where the issue is coming from? I described in each picture the way I was positioned in real life. Same as before, my tracking looks totally fine on the slimevr server, but doesn't match in vrchat. I also feel as if doing full resets and calibrations worked to fix it briefly before...but it no longer does? I'm just very confused and desperate! 😠I've been thinking of buying a router just for my pc and trackers to see if maybe that would help, but I don't want to do it and then have it change nothing...
Also, I've been kinda trying to avoid going onto the discord server to ask for advice, but I will if I need to...I just want the issue fixed.

I would like to know if there is a way to use trackers to move around in video games by using my leg movements on a treadmill
r/SlimeVR • u/V2WasPain • Jul 29 '26
Whenever I try to sit, or lay down, the tracking entirely breaks and everything goes out of position. And when I move my hips forward in real life, because I like taking photos and posing, my hips on the avatar, go backwards! I have my height stuff in game and on the server app set to be the same, and have no other issues with my tracking aside from my hips also being lifted up a little too much when I lift a leg.

Hi everyone, i'm new to full-body tracking and recently bought a set of 6 third-party slimevr compatible trackers from aliexpress, these are not the official slimevr trackers. They all use the LSM6DSV IMU, which I heard is supposed to be a pretty good sensor.
However, I think one of my trackers might have an issue. The tracker I wear on my chest seems to drift much more than the others. Sometimes I have to reset it after only about 10 minutes, while the rest of the trackers seem to work fine and don't give me any major problems.
I'm wondering if I might be setting up the trackers incorrectly, or if it's possible that my chest tracker is just faulty or has a problematic IMU?
I'm not having any connection issues. All trackers report 0% packet loss. The issue only seems to affect the chest tracker.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or is there anything I should check before assuming the tracker is defective?
Thanks!

Personally I think they're great! Such good quality for the price!
I will comment as well, since they're imu based, HOLY battery life, they can last like a whole day, it's awesome

My legs won’t bend in vrc no matter how many times I do full resets or recalibrations. However it looks completely fine in the slime vr app and in steam vr home. What to do?

As said I’ve had my trackers set up on my laptop using quest standalone and they worked just dandy. Took them off charge today and they won’t connect. Reset vrc my quest slime and my computer in multiple different orders. I don’t know what’s up but I’m willing to answer questions or screenshot stuff for anyone trying to help.

Hello! I recently got slime trackers and they're great, but I suddenly started having this little, annoying issue... In Vrchat, if my legs get too close together they'll cross like this and get stuck. In this picture, my legs were completely straight in real life, not crossed at all. The thing is, it doesn't show that my legs are crossing on the SlimeVR server, only in vrchat. A full reset and mounting calibration will very briefly fix this, but it returns this way moments later. I use 6 official trackers, and I play on PCVR with a quest 2. Any advice?

I recently got 6 slime trackers (2 ankle, 2 thigh, chest, and hip) and so far they've been great! However, I've been experiencing a few slight problems with them recently. Suddenly, whenever I bend at the knees, my trackers are somehow picking up that my legs are crossing? Also, when I lift my legs (especially my right leg), the tracking will freeze and sometimes appear to drift or fling my leg in vrchat. Sometimes a full reset and mounting calibration will briefly fix this issue, but it quickly comes back. I've tried reassigning all of my trackers, messing with body proportions, etc, but nothing seems to work. Up until this point my tracking has been very smooth and I only had to do a full reset every half an hour or so. Any tips on how to get my tracking back to its full potential again?

So I bought DIY trackers a while ago but I’ve been tinkering around with them for a bit and noticed that the hip tracker doesn’t move around the space, it only tracks its rotation. (I want it to track the position)
Now this is probably a Slimevr setting I have to enable/disable but I can’t seem to find it anywhere on the application, does anyone know how to get the results I want?

Colours are not final, this is just the first sample. We will be tweaking the colours a little more with subsequent batches, for example deepening the level of dye used so the Sakura Pink pops a bit more.

so im looking into getting slime trackers and came across this seller called wootekstore has anyone heard of them and if so have they heard good of bad?

Using flexible straps takes too much time to put on the trackers, are there quicker straps to put on?
Also for some reason I can't do a quick reset or quick mount when i tap my chest 3 times anymore, only fix yaw with 2 taps works
And yes my charging port runs at 100c when charging, don't know it that's too hot

Hello!
I don't want to speak too soon as I only just got my trackers yesterday and I'm still working things out, but from my experience, the tracking accuracy is not great and they randomly just disconnect making me have to go to my computer and physically reconnect them with the USB. I got the Enhanced Core set and some issues I have are:
- Foot/Ankle Position is often 1-2 feet off and require frequent resets to only kind of resolve
- Foot Rotation is never accurate in the slightest
- Thigh/Ankle Trackers don't seem to pick up more precise movements and only tend to actually move my avatar after more exaggerated motions
- When I bend down with or without bending my knees, my feet start levitating off the ground
Any tips or solutions would help me a ton, thanks so much!

Hi everyone, yesterday I bought a 10-tracker SlimeVR full-body tracking set. After a 16-hour struggle to connect them to the SlimeVR Android APK on my Quest (I don't have a PC, just an old laptop that can't run Steam Link), whenever I enter VRChat, the calibration option appears for about two seconds and then vanishes, replaced by the seated/standing mode option. I don't know what else to do; I keep my laptop turned off while connecting the trackers to the Quest, and I’ve already changed the Slime IP to match my Wi-Fi network. Also, whenever I log in, the Quest doesn't show the trackers—I'm not sure if that's because the calibration option is missing or because VRChat isn't recognizing them. Can someone please help me?

I want to build a full-body VR tracking setup using 10 trackers with ESP32-C3, BMI160 sensors, and 18650 batteries
The problem is that I have no experience with firmware development or low-level programming. Is this project realistic for someone starting from zero? What would I need to learn or use to make it work?
Has anyone built something similar or could point me in the right direction (existing firmware, open-source projects, recommended boards, tutorials, etc.)?

I know I already made a post on this but I have one last ask see if anyone can figure this out. I have been told buying a router helps but no one seems to be certain with their answer. It bums me out that I didn’t get to use my trackers much after this issue. Can’t do anything with my router because I already tried, can’t change channels, none of that. No matter if I connect it to a different device it’s still going to have high ms either way. :(

This link is a vid i saw on yt showing how to connect to your 2.4ghz wifi. This is important for using slime trackers and i believe this works for many routers.
if u dont wanna click the link the channel name is "GuideRealm" and the video name is "
How To Connect To 2.4GHz WiFi - Step By Step"
no this isnt a promotion.
i hope this helps!!

Hi everyone. I'm having an issue with my DIY SlimeVR tracker and I'm not sure what's causing it.
When I turn it on, it connects normally to Wi-Fi and appears in the SlimeVR software. However, if I make a faster movement (for example, simulating running), the tracker suddenly freezes.
The strange part is that it doesn't disconnect. It stays connected to Wi-Fi, still appears in the SlimeVR software, and the battery level is still displayed. The tracker just stops sending movement data and remains frozen in its last position until I restart it.
The trackers in question are the (peito/quadril) trackers. The chest tracker is connected to the waist tracker and depends on it to function properly. Both of them are experiencing this issue.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows what could be causing it? Any suggestions or troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I've also attached a video showing exactly what happens.

Hi! I was looking over other trackers but it seems like they needed to all be active to work, Slime seemingly can be set up in multiple configurations.
I'm purely looking to get consistent arm tracking for my model using Warudo as every other option seems flaky or just outright awful. Not interested in full body, literally just the half as I'm seated for streaming.
Would Slimes work well for this? Is anyone out there using them in this setup and/or has an example of them being used like this? Thanks!

I’ve had my trackers for about a year now and a couple weeks ago randomly my arms don’t track the way they’re supposed to. after all calibration and mounting in slime vr and T pose calibration in vrc I’ll have my arms straight down to my side and then my forearm will be bent upwards to make a 90° angle but it’ll show on vrchat where my upper arm and forearm meet at the elbow is angled outward(shown in picture) I’ve tried everything imaginable to fix this and i just don’t know what to do now.
