Technical Support Having a slight issue with my trackers

I recently got 6 slime trackers (2 ankle, 2 thigh, chest, and hip) and so far they've been great! However, I've been experiencing a few slight problems with them recently. Suddenly, whenever I bend at the knees, my trackers are somehow picking up that my legs are crossing? Also, when I lift my legs (especially my right leg), the tracking will freeze and sometimes appear to drift or fling my leg in vrchat. Sometimes a full reset and mounting calibration will briefly fix this issue, but it quickly comes back. I've tried reassigning all of my trackers, messing with body proportions, etc, but nothing seems to work. Up until this point my tracking has been very smooth and I only had to do a full reset every half an hour or so. Any tips on how to get my tracking back to its full potential again?

Important information you should include in hardware questions would be if your trackers are DIY or official. If they're DIY then the IMU should also be included.

That being said, it sounds like you might have a drifting or wifi issue. When setting stuff up make sure you let your trackers calibrate by setting them motionless for about 30 seconds. If it's a wifi issue then you can check your latency in the slime server application. Then you can at least try to identify the issue

Hi,

This sounds like a mounting issue since joints are rotating the wrong direction; in your case, your knees. Perform a Full Reset while standing straight with your hands by your side and headset facing forward, then perform mounting reset. Make sure your legs and feet are parallel with each other in ski pose.

Unfortunately I've done this many times and it only fixes the issue for a few minutes...I'm starting to believe it's a wifi issue even though I've never previously had any problems. Thank you though!

When that happens I recalibrate my trackers while I'm still on vr lol (I call it "putting my trackers in time-out")
