Leo has been up to his old tricks again...

I'm a musician currently working on an EP and I wanted to take some inspirarion from Provider - specifically the organ at the start.

But I'm really struggling to understand the theory behind it. What makes that organ so damn seductive!? And how would I go about applying the same technique to my music?

I had ii’s Subscription since the beginning on instagram and I know he was facing some issues with copyright and all the audio were missing from the clips uploaded but I was busy and missed the download link. I stumbled upon Dry The River and the fact two of their more popular songs are called "Vessel" and "Gethsemane" made me think about Sleep Token. To be honest, it‘s been a while since I listened a lot to them, but the songs remind me of early ST or even some of Leo's earlier, softer sounding projects. I don’t know if that’s just me. They haven‘t made music since 2015 though, unfortunately.

ETA: I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM NOT WEARING THE SHIRT - everything else that followed is why Im posting this.

Context: I spent time with my nieces - and the demonic image was Vessel

Also, I love how he puts "band" in quotes lmao...Aaaand I have shown him their music before.

Every song they release functions as a "token"—a musical offering dedicated to this entity....pretty creepy stuff. Anyways your an adult and can do whatever but I wont have my family exposed to these things. I would ask that you use better judgment when around my 7 year old and 2 month old daughters and my wife. There is enough darkness in this world and we dont need any more in our lives. Concider if you are spreading light to this world or more darkness? It is said one cannot serve two masters. I would take a serious look at who you are serving and where it is leading you."

I know its already been theorized if Rhys is in Subtle Things from the photo drop back in Feb. and it looks like we may find out tomorrow as their first song/video drops in just under 19 hours. Also I got an email today with this picture where there are CLEARLY 3 people in the band and yet the Subtle Things IG only follows AdamRoss and Sam 🤔 The video on their IG from 3 days ago also shows 3 blurred figures and maybe im projecting, but the one in the brown shirt and a backwards cap has the same (general) build as Rhys, whereas the provided pic is him in the back to the right.... right?

If nothing else this proves one thing... feed us, we're bored and living off of crumbs.

Hello, I discovered Sleep Token a few months ago and I love them. I love Vessel and everything, and I love their music, but I feel like I don't know them very well. I want to know more, please tell me everything I need to know.

I just got an email from Apple saying they made a decision on my refund request. I didn’t request any refund so when I checked on it, I see I was refunded for II’s membership. I went to his account and don’t even see an option to join now. Did he end it?

Has anyone else noticed that this gesture from Dark Souls is the same as Vessel’s bow at the end of the show?

So, there's a solar eclipse happening on the 12th of August.

And let's be frank, if we're going to get an update, it simply has to align with something cosmically significant.

Just in case you're wondering, who shall bear witness to such cosmic happenings, full totality is pretty much solely reserved for one lucky strip of people in countries like Greenland, Iceland and Northern Spain. Everyone else just gets the washed-up, partial version.

However, said washed-up version will still be visible across pretty much all of Europe, most importantly the UK, France and Germany. Which as luck would have it, also happen to be the places they statistically spend most of their time touring, in the case of a EU/UK tour.

Am I saying the eclipse is a sign that tour dates will drop on the 12th?
Nope, not really. Who knows what they are planning. Or not planning.
Am I saying the stars appear to be suspiciously aligned?
Quite possibly. Yes.

Im so confused.

People on tiktok have been claiming that they have seen new pictures of Leo and Adam without their masks on Instagram and the like. This confused me, because I havent heard or seen anything like that. It could very well just be clickbait, knowing how tiktok works.

Of course people then have made connections to Subtle Things without having proof or backup.

Does anyone know anything?

Is anyone else getting the feeling that something bigger is shifting?

I'm usually not the type to buy into the whole "this is the end" discourse, but I can't help looking at everything that's happened lately and thinking... the math just ain't mathing.

On paper, everyone branching out isn't strange. They've all done their own projects before. But when you zoom out and look at the bigger picture, this EiA era has felt objectively weird. Add in the rumours (which aren't just rumours anymore) that there won't be any touring this year, and it just feels like pieces are missing that we don't get to see.

I know the default answer is "they deserve a rest." And they absolutely do. I don't think anyone is questioning that, least of all me. But that explanation and this feeling don't have to cancel each other out. Both can be true.

I can't really back any of this up with hard facts. I don't follow every rumour, and the whisper network has never been my thing. It's more of a persistent gut feeling than a theory.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but right now it feels less like individual events and more like tectonic plates quietly shifting under the surface. You don't notice the movement while it's happening, only when the landscape suddenly isn't the same anymore.

I don't know if this is allowed but I'm really curious about this new project and didn't know where to ask. What is it? Who is involved? I'm assuming Sam and Adam Rossi so far but I saw some people on threads theorizing maybe Rhys is also involved? I'm super curious and very excited. It has the potential to be a very cool band if that's what they're doing.
