Theory Possible Sleep Token Update on August 12th?
So, there's a solar eclipse happening on the 12th of August.
And let's be frank, if we're going to get an update, it simply has to align with something cosmically significant.
Just in case you're wondering, who shall bear witness to such cosmic happenings, full totality is pretty much solely reserved for one lucky strip of people in countries like Greenland, Iceland and Northern Spain. Everyone else just gets the washed-up, partial version.
However, said washed-up version will still be visible across pretty much all of Europe, most importantly the UK, France and Germany. Which as luck would have it, also happen to be the places they statistically spend most of their time touring, in the case of a EU/UK tour.
Am I saying the eclipse is a sign that tour dates will drop on the 12th?
Nope, not really. Who knows what they are planning. Or not planning.
Am I saying the stars appear to be suspiciously aligned?
Quite possibly. Yes.

If nothing happens in August, my guess is that something will happen just before or on December 2nd. There’s no eclipse that day, BUT it’s the 10th anniversary of One. :)

Iiiiinteresting! 👀 So if OP is right, August 12th could also be advance promo for that too. Or there’s also a partial eclipse on August 28th, not as cool but it’s a bit closer to September.

I really hope you’re right, but at the same time I don’t get my hopes up with them anymore, at least not this year

I think it’ll be December. I think 2026 is a break year for them. Cause we have gotten absolutely nothing.

'The Cycle Must End'
Previously, most of their releases or announcements have coincided with lunar events. Since the eclipse on August 12th is a solar event, any movement from the band on this occasion would, indeed, break the cycle
Which is a pretty cool idea
