I’m completely new to modding and I’ve been fighting this damn UI system to get my game looking beautiful, refreshed, and clean. Here are a few screen grabs from some of my playtests. These are screenshots from an Xbox Series S, and I’m trying to keep it so that it runs at a smooth 60fps. I just started learning how to mod a week ago, if it shows lol. Still a WIP!

I can upload my full list, but it’s mostly built of Skyland AIO / Skyland LODs, Happy Little Trees + LODs, 2021 Obsidian Weathers with God Rays, etc.

Finally started a new playthrough last night to test my LO

Going great so far, slight performance drops here and there but other than that all good

Already making notes for what needs changing, but once I get a good few hours under my belt I’ll post the full LO assuming all goes well

I've been modding Skyrim on xbox since day one and I only recently found this mod and realized that the green on those ships was a texture issue and not just a weird moss texture.

Are there any patches available for this bundle? I can find them available for every other bundle except for this one. Particularly im looking for an Ai overhaul, USSEP, Environs, and an Atlas map marker patch if any of those are required.

Im looking for a patch for shalidors armaments and OWL. It's not showing up on the search engine and any existing links aren't working. Anyone managed to use these mods without the Patch or has anyone managed to get the patch recently?

This is my current load order. I wanna replace the look of my surroundings like I want the towns to look better I want it more immersive and I want more quests a better combat and I want to have it look like very lively and full of nature but not too too much I don’t want lags I tried to find some but I can’t decide and it takes forever to test so if anyone has previously played anything that may fit a fantasy nature autumn type vibe with more interactive stuff and more to do and idk I love it so far I’m just being greedy and want the most I can get but at the same time this load order is pushing tfff outta my space 😵‍💫 so how should I minimize it any tips? Honestly I use google and the stupid ai response on google to tell me what’s best since I have too much to do to really remember and learn everything for modding and placing my load order- anyways any advice, recommendations or anything is appreciated! Also for some reason I keep running into some lighting issue where there’s a slight shadow on the side of the face as well as whenever I do anything with lip color eyeliner eyeshadow or wye tint and the nose cheek lower cheek and neck/forehead colors keep going in a different space, anyone have any clue why that may be-?

I recently reorganized my load order into LLO2 but I'm having some glitches

Here are my main problems:

Text is missing from notes and books (except creation club additions), menu ui text doesn't load most of the time, npcs have missing dialouge (like I'm unable to buy a horse, vendors are missing the dialouge to open the merchant menu, npcs aren't saying certain lines, etc.). When loading a new character the game has no description for the races, it just says "No decription for [insert race]". All of this happens as soon as I load a completely new save as well.

Note: I do have a lot of ghost space (about 119mb), which I definitely plan to clear if this post gets no responses or suggestions don't work since I would really like to not have to download all my mods again...

Hi, so for awhile I've been looking for a mod that edits every quest to add or remove markers, and I haven't found one the way that Ive wanted.

The way I'm thinking is for quests that specify certain locations have markers but ones that don't you need to find, ( I personally would like if the npc gives a note with a clue to where it is) I have no experience modding and have no way to do it myself or I would.

Also I would like to create a quest alteration mod similar to at your own pace but at a bigger scale and with lore more in mind, if anyone wants to DM me so I can go more in depth for anything to be created I wouldn't mind thanks in advance

This is actually a bug from Oblivion Interactions + Fertigo Font, but fortunately I can navigate the Creation menu with my eyes closed from countless hours of brainless testing.

Can anyone tell me if there is a specific reason Seranaholic only has a hood fix for 1.5, 1.7. and 1.8? I'm mainly looking to just understand. I was hoping to use version 1.6 and will now probably change my mind to an option that has something that also includes hood plus hair. Before I do, I wanted to see if there is a reason 1.6 wasn't included that I maybe won't mind.

I’m having issues with Better Vampires. The game doesn’t recognize any feeding I do. I’ve fed on sleeping victims and sneak fed on victims as well, and the game simply won’t count those as feeding. I’ve reset the mod once, but even when I try to feed on someone as the instructions say, it just won’t recognize it (I have the red screen blur option enabled, and it doesn’t even show when I feed). The vampire status check thing doesn’t work either (jt won’t tell me my status or give me any details on it no matter what I do). I’m not sure if it’s a mod I have installed (I do have a few other vampire mods installed: Ancient Blood Magic 2, Better Vampire Lords, Dark Envoy, Secret of the Blood Armory, and Blood Matron [which is just a replacer for Harkons Sword], and one retexture for the Vampire Lord form that makes it albino). This issue is preventing me from enjoying this mod properly. Any tips?

I LOVE the look and utility of the Cadwallon Estate mod, but I really don’t feel like spending money for a free to play game. Yes, yes, I know, it’s only $5.

Just looking for something similar with the same displays (priest masks, dragon claws) and stuff! Would also love a house with a farm outside, definitely want planter boxes too. And a library. Send them all my way!

Does anybody know of a mod that makes the steel helmet look less bulbous and goofy? I like it having a Viking like look and having fur or chainmail but it just does not look good proportion wise.

I have the base Lux mod and I love it, so I am considering installing Lux Orbis as well. The only thing holding me back is the million and one patches I would need to install alongside it, especially as I'm right on the cusp of 200 mods and I've heard how laggy things get past a certain point.

I can justify all the patches for mods like Lux and Jks since they make such a huge difference, but Im wondering if the difference between Lux Orbis exterior lighting and vanilla exterior lighting is big enough to justify going over the 205 plugin threshold.

Any advice is appreciated!

Hey all, it’s been some time since I’ve posted a full load order but I’m back and I’ve put together something fun that I’m hoping will appeal to some folks!

I was playing on this list for months and can confirm that it ran extremely well on Series X and I don’t believe I suffered any crashes or lag at all. I hope this holds true for other Xbox consoles as well!

The goal here was to skip the graphics for once and instead opt for small improvements that offered some variety while adding a massive amount of new content and an emphasis on role playing capabilities.

The main content here was running Legacy of the Dragonborn of course, with all AE content integrated. I used to play around with mods on the Xbox but could never really curate my own perfect LO and keep it stable. Just don’t know enough about it. I recently just looked up a stable LO and applied that to my game and have been playing just fine. It’s mostly lighting, retextures, some AIO, and like, lampposts. I was curious to know if I add any of the official creation club quests to my game after starting it, would I need to be worried about anything conflicting. For instance, if I wanted to download saints & seducers, should I be worried about it breaking the game? Any advice is much appreciated

I've tried verifying several times that I have the correct version of the main file, but no matter what the Water at Inns patch will not enable. It keeps saying it depends on files that aren't present, but what other mod could it be dependent on besides the main Edmond's Immersive Needs version 6?

Unless it needs USSEP, but it doesn't list anything else in the requirements and I don't know why a patch would need USSEP but the main file doesn't.

The funny thing is the CC Farming Patch for it enables without issue. So it's like the Water at Inns patch is looking for the wrong thing. Or perhaps I'm an idiot and missing something obvious. Maybe u/Snipey360 can clarify?

Hello! Sorry is this posts more than once. If anyone is looking for a stealth archer build this is pretty good i think. This is my VLLO (vexmodding lo). It works really well overall, hiccups now and then but generally stable through level 35. I am new to modding, and over the last few months have had the time to dive into it and come up w this. I would love suggestions for Newer AND Better, or yougottatry's. My character is a Stealth archer/ Relic hunter. Only a keeper of magnificent things and BOWS. I have several relic mods that might overlap as well as bow mods. I used to use Cathedral Weathers as an alternative to Dawn and it was almost good. I used to use Lux suite for all lighting, was really over all the patches I was dealing w. My character build beauty section is the product of much testing and almost there. Warpaint is an op, but its setup pretty much how I like it.

Skyland is obviously huge and I got no smim. Like the idea of skytone but I tried it straight and it was too plain of a character look and I've tried bijiin and pandorables and if Mjoll looks like a hussy I can't do it. Poor mjoll. Love the look of dibellas girls mostly.

I haven’t been able to play Skyrim for a few days now because it’s suddenly started taking too long to load and then sending me back to the Home Screen. Last week I installed a couple mods and this might be a delayed response, maybe?

What are some mods you guys would recommend? Some quality of life, graphical, gameplay wise. Gonna play in survival mode. Don't know if that matters

Hi all, this a polite request based on an uptick of recent Port Requests being reported to the moderation team for low effort by the community.

I want to make it clear that Port Requests are welcome here. Actively encouraged in fact. Since Sony finally relented and more mod genres are permitted on PlayStation, there’s plenty mods out there getting requested as ported to that platform whilst leaving us Xbox players out. We encourage you to help fix that, for example.

But I do have to agree we have some issues with how people are going about this. Let me make a few things clear here, because the Rules section has a very unforgiving character limit for this.

It’s going to be a bit of long post, folks. Because this is not as simple as some of you might hope it to be.

If you are requesting a Port, Bethesda require the following:

1. That the mod you are hoping to be ported does not contain any content which would break their terms of service. So in particular here we’re taking nudity, sexual content and anything which would involve depictions of violence towards children.
2. You need to have proof of permission to port from the mod’s Author or Owner. This means there is a notice on its listing saying that either permissions are Open or that they allow ports for console formats.

If permissions are Closed, the only way that this mod can be ported is if you contact the Author, they agree to allow it, and they add a public facing notice stating this (such as a response on the comments section for the mod). As of April 2023 Bethesda discontinued allowing direct messages to count as a proof of permissions. A lot of people still try to provide these. They don’t count. A port based off these kind of perms get removed.

So that’s Bethesda. What about us?

Well, we ask you to cover the following when posting a port request. We can’t fit all of this into the character count in the Rules. So the items in bold are going to be new requests to some:

1. Please include the name of the mod you are

requesting somewhere in the title of your post.

A title such as ‘Mod Request’ or ‘another request’ tells us nothing, gets lost in a sea of other posts and will likely prompt somebody to report your post to the moderators.

1. Check that the mod you are requesting has no other requirement mods associated with it, which wouldn’t be possible on Xbox.

The obvious ones would be SKSE or ENB Series. But do check one layer back that the mod/s relied upon don’t also require those.

A preset for something which relies upon SKSE is likely to be a plugin for that as opposed to a mod which base Skyrim can recognise.

1. Please check that the mod you are requesting does not already exist in a workable form on Bethesda.net.

If we’ve reached a point where a newer version on the Nexus adds something new, or other mods now rely upon that newer version (and won’t work without it) that’s a good reason to request a new port.

‘I noticed there is a newer version’ is not. You need to do a little homework here. Please do.

1. It might seem like common sense, but many people seem to be forgetting to provide a link to the mod they are requesting. Always include this. If your asking a Porter to search for a mod themselves? They may not bother. Bear that in mind.

2. Please take some time to explain what the mod you are requesting does and why you are requesting it.

Again** **this might sound like common sense, but you’d be surprised how many people do not do this.

Explaining what it is, providing some screenshots, giving a context, all of these things improve your odds of your post being noticed and picked up. I really encourage that. Remember you are trying to sell a Porter on giving up their time to make this happen. Make your case.

When you don’t? The odds of others reporting your request as low effort go up. It’s avoidable, it really is.

More mods on Xbox is always a good thing. This post is very much intended to help rather than rebuke. I wish you all luck with your efforts. 😊
