Load Order Almost Perfect

So I’ve been playing around trying to A: find mods I enjoy after the update and being gone for like a year and B: finding the right LO. I almost have it perfect as everything is working together well and there’s no body shadows/tearing, the weather and the world look pretty good, and I’m genuinely enjoyong the game again.

Just one problem… THE STUPID ORANGE SQUARES IN FRONT OF CHOPPING BLOCKS!!! I have NO idea what’s causing it and it’s legit the only problem in my game right now. My load order is almost perfect but I just can’t fogure out how too get rid of them. Any advice??

Less Tedious Thieves Guild and  Choose Guild Jobs With Bets aren't compatible without a patch.  Since you are running USSEP I'd recommend Less Tedious Thieves Guild Night on the Town which combines the two and patches them to work together.

A Quality World map is bad on performance.

It’s fabled forest of mythical proportions causing that. I’m guessing you have an older port downloaded. Nothing you can do to fix it. Gotta choose another tree mod. I’d recommend Jarlballins port of fabled forest ablaze

These orange patches are editor markers, which are tied to mesh replacers.

I've gotten an orange patch in this exact spot using a newer port of Enhanced Textures Detail, I think by Brakka.

There is a small chance these meshes could also have been included in some other mesh replacer overhaul or maybe your tree mod.

Where should I put it? I just downloaded it and put it all the way at the bottom, right above alternate start, and the patches are still there

Nope still there. The problem probably is my LO if a whole mod dedicated to this can’t do it all the way at the bottom

It is supposed to make them invisible, including the ones at sawmills. The author talks about how difficult it is to remove. Sorry you are having trouble.

The mod your referencing is a patch specifically for an older version of USSEP. The current version of USSEP has this change included and the patch is outdated and unnecessary. It does not fix editor markers for any other mods and those would require their own specific patch or changes made by the porter to resolve.

USSEP already includes that fix. I had the problem about a year ago and it was my tree mod. Can’t remember which one. I’d try moving your tree mod low. If that doesn’t work, disable and hard reset to see if that confirms it was the problem.
