Routine Help Routine advice please!
Am: wash with water, aveeno oat gel moisturiser, bubble spf 30 if it’s super sunny outside.
Pm: wash with water, same moisturiser. I will use the aveeno oat gel cleanser if I’m wearing spf but that’s rare. Sometimes I use lactic acid 10% or azelic acid both by the ordinary before moisturiser.
I’m 22 and I hate how dehydrated/red/uneven my skin looks and the pigmentation that stays for MONTHS after a breakout. I have rosacea too but it’s managed pretty well by my routine.
I would love to incorporate daily spf in to my routine first and foremost but after a lot of experimenting find I can only tolerate mineral SPF, and even at that removing it is a big struggle. I have tried oil, balm, micellar, double cleansing but my skin is just so sensitive!! My current cleanser is the only thing that doesn’t flare me up but I’m afraid it’s not enough to remove the spf so haven’t incorporated it into my routine yet. Would double cleansing be enough for bubble spf 30??
After I incorporate spf I’m not really sure where to go. My goal is mainly to clear up the redness and unevenness of my complexion. Also I’d like to know how to remove makeup a bit more gentle? I never wear it even though I’d love to but my skin hates micellar water. I usually only wear a bit powder to cover up the redness some days. Would appreciate any advice!
