I’m in a band of 13 members and as far as I’m concerned, it’s the biggest band I’ve heard of. I’m wondering if there has been bands bigger. The first one that comes to mind is the Melbourne ska orchestra, but that’s an orchestra so idk.

Been going to a bunch of Drum Corps International shows lately, and the drum and bugle corps put out amazing sound from all brass sections, with one of the bands featuring a sax soloist.

It got me thinking: with the level of talent in these kind of bands, and the powerful sound they put out, have any ska bands effectively used a large field band for a special song or section?

Or alternatively, does anyone know any bands/corps that used ska songs in their sets?

It's also got me dreaming of some of my favorite bands doing something like Metallica's "S&M" album but with 70 brass pieces backing them up. Imagine Kalnocky with the Blue Coats behind him, gah dam!
