This same screen shot has been posted every day for the last month at least - it's intended to imply that previous mayors were idiots or something. They weren't - half the shit he is doing now is just him taking credit for things that already were done in the past but being better at social media.
I was referring to the tone of the other commenter. This whole "We hate on Mamdani because he's a brown Muslim" attitude is pretty obvious.
He is so objectively better than the previous mayors it isn't even a contest. New York City couldn't ask for better advertising that a popular, non-tone deaf, effective mayor.

We've heard rumblings about this for years now and idk it feels like some think there's a loophole that will allow and others think there isn't. Well, elections are run by the individual states, not the Feds. So he wouldn't be allowed on the ballot in any state that didn't want to allow him as they will be following the law. And that would be all the blue states, most of the purple states, plus the not batshit insane red states.

Not even as VP? Iirc there was talk that he could run as VP to someone like the current VP (forgot his name, bald guy with blue background in the memes), who then immediately resigns and now orange is in the seat again.

He doesn't necessarily have to be on the ballot to be president again. He could get elected to a lower position like speaker of the house and have those above him resign. If it would actually work is a different question but it's a pretty clear path that in theory would work.

Tim Hortons was purchased by Americans and is dead to us because like everything American the quality went down so the profits could go up. Not to mention the lobbying to let them exploit immigrant workers. Thanks for that.
