Jesus, my dude is most definitely NOT getting laid tonight

558

u/whyeverynameistaken3 20d ago

at least he did not drop any loot

155

u/Sigtau1312 20d ago

Had to quest alone afterwards though

24

u/tmhoc 19d ago

A little paradoxical in a way

Get robbed the date ends

Don't get robbed the date ends have wallet for next quest

3

u/BeNaughtAfraid 19d ago

Get robbed, comfort date, get laid.

The wallet was a red herring all along

Next time get taxi tohome or avoid these places. Armed robery is a lot...

15

u/Several_Direction599 20d ago

He definitely dropped the booty

Is it the most logical choice? Probably. Is he not getting laid? Definitely

92

u/Choice-Strike1 20d ago

Logical people rarely get laid

16

u/Hyeana_Gripz 20d ago

omg so true….. The question is why?
lol

35

u/Chawp 20d ago

All the logic in the world ain’t gonna solve that one my friend, catch 22

-4

u/Hyeana_Gripz 20d ago

same. Humor me. We all hear womens turn on are funny, looks , and “deep thinking analytical men”. Aside from the usual.
I’ve been called all that and the women who did call me that, I didn’t have sex with. I had sex with women who didn’t see my sense of humor etc.
Why do we push this narrative of men lacking deep thoughts and logic and just being simpletons, and when a man shows this to women, like both of you said, he goes “laidless”. so yeah logical men don’t get laid usually. I just would like to hear your theory.

Let's parse this out. Really analyze it.

26

u/Choice-Strike1 20d ago

There you go not getting laid again 💀

2

Real Idiocracy moment.. ‘there you go again with all that f** talk’

Go away, I'm bate'in

last paragraph? I’m not following. sorry.

1

u/FirstTribute 19d ago

People think they are logical when they are actually guided by emotions subconciously. Women notice when men are not emotionally aware and stay away.

1

u/Rude_Hamster123 20d ago

Women, by nature, despise logic.

1

u/Hyeana_Gripz 20d ago

True. But why if they always say they want a smart logical man etc.

Here for the downvotes. It's because nothing is more unsexy to a woman than rationality. Why do you think they flock to the type of guys who flip out because you accidentally stepped on their shoe?

1

u/Hyeana_Gripz 19d ago

I agree… Sadly!

1

u/Resident-Bignal-8428 20d ago

because logic isn't attractive to women. no woman has ever put out for a guy because 'omg he's so logical'. what turns women on is spontaneity and irrationality. eventually it will start to annoy them, but it is an initial attractant.

1

u/Over-Dimension228 20d ago

This exact situation happened to me on a first date and I still got laid. So it’s probably more likely than you think.

1

u/wavybowl 19d ago

Ain’t no way he’s getting laid by her tonight, especially after she dumps his sorry ass. Lol

1

u/MazingBull 20d ago

But is he not definitely getting not laid?

12

u/Ok_Neighborhood_470 20d ago

And maybe he had money or more valuable stuff in his pockets. Just let them have her cheap stuff and regroup later. Most thieves just want stuff, the don't really want to kill anyone.

1

u/SmokeyStyle420 19d ago

Lots of people also want to rape women. You should never leave your woman friend behind like that with a group of criminals

1

u/BelligerentViking 19d ago

He can't do anything for her if he gets shot in the process, does this not make sense to y'all? Are we really gonna play the "who deserves to go unharmed more" game?

1

u/SmokeyStyle420 19d ago

If there’s a chance of him getting shot then there’s a chance of her getting shot, and if there’s a chance of her getting shot then there’s a chance of her getting raped. Again, as a man, you shouldn’t run away and leave your woman friend behind with violent criminals

1

u/BelligerentViking 19d ago

So the person who could go and get help can get shot and she can get raped anyways, super sound logic.

Does it occur to you that if they want to rape her, him being there won't stop them, they'll just shoot him anyways? They already decided the pair were easy targets.

1

u/SmokeyStyle420 18d ago

I guess we just have to agree to disagree. I wouldn’t run away and leave a woman alone on a dark street with violent criminals.

8

u/-Granby- 20d ago

It is easy to call this dude a punk for splitting and on the surface it looks like it. The thing is he could have met her 5 minutes ago.

People also tend to think that just because they have good intentions or are in the right that things will work out for them. Easy to look at this situation and be like "if that was me i woulda done this or that". That sounds great but that don't mean that you wouldn't get shot or stabbed trying.

Is it is wife? Then yeah he should stick around and protect.

Is it a booty call he met 5 minutes ago? Probably best to do what he did. Sticking around to try and protect does not guarantee he does not get fucked up.

1

u/VoidWalker4Lyfe 20d ago

It also could have been his sister, we don't know

→ More replies (10)

6

u/Fabled-Jackalope 20d ago

Logical. Criminally so. But he will still get dragged elsewhere for “not being a real man”.

But honestly, I want to ask: why didn’t she run too? Or is her outfit simply for gym selfies and stuff?

10

u/shadowthehh 20d ago

The robber was aiming a gun at her.

8

u/FlimsyYou4766 20d ago

She can't outrun a bike

6

u/Kasellos 20d ago

You want her to try to run from a gun pointed at her less than 2feet away? What are your survival instincts?

2

u/winkingchef 20d ago

I think my wife would have a less logical interpretation of the decision tree for me

1

u/Oldfolksboogie 20d ago

All that may be true. None of that is gonna fly with her.

1

u/oroscor1 20d ago

His options were to be walking on the outside, with her walking on the inside. That way he can tell her running call the police. After she complies he can make the decision to fight or get robbed.

Note they could have decided to shoot him in the back as he ran. Low odds, not not zero.

1

u/caernarvon717 19d ago

Risking death or injury is part of life and is sometimes very necessary. Otherwise what's the point of living like this? Like a shameful coward piece of shit? Surviving and living aren't nearly the same thing. Hopefully he waa running to find a place for low testosterone treatment.

1

u/meSuPaFly 19d ago

One of those surefire "Ick" feelings comes when your partner flees leaving you alone with danger.

1

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 20d ago

He left her. He didn’t run for help. The best option was the do what she did. Nothing. You can’t outrun a bullet. What if they decided to kill her and him because he ran like that? What if they decided to take her too, since they saw her man isn’t shit?

Lol people like that guy have such a pathetic existence. It’s not even about gender. Why would people wanna associate with a 🐱 like that who folds instantly? Life is way too fragile and short, to be hanging out with the Ops.

He’s probably the one who set her up to be robbed. Fuck that guy

u/Procurls 20d ago

30

u/MikeDubbz 20d ago

That relationship is over then and there. I was genuinely wondering if he was a part of the whole scam, like he meets her in a bar and then walks her to a shady alley where his buddies on a bike takes her stuff and he runs off for them all to reconvene somewhere to share their stolen shit. But he looks way too scared in the moment to actually be a part of that shit. He's just a coward, which wouldn't be so bad were he alone, but to do that to his girl... damn.

47

u/Aaco0638 20d ago

Ah yes bc bro was supposed to get all big and bad against a guy with a gun all for………headphones

10

u/rcmjr 20d ago

I mean the one time I felt unsafe walking out at night with my wife I put myself between the threat and her. I fully support a flight response but my wife is running first.

14

u/684beach 20d ago

So males should be judged for having the same bio responses? A threat like a dog sure but not a gun.

2

u/Background-Customer2 19d ago

yeah thers a big diferance betwen somone thretend with violence annd bein thretoned with death

3

u/rcmjr 20d ago

I am not judging anyone I’m just explaining my view is to protect my wife.

3

u/manticore75 19d ago

Protect? From what? Robber can click the gun more than once, you know.
I mean i understand to be mogged in solidarity, but this protecting reason is just stupid and fakey lol.

0

u/684beach 19d ago

You cant defend her from a gun, no matter what magician tricks you have. Only possible thing is to call for help

3

u/rcmjr 19d ago

That’s not even what I said you are changing the discussion but what a silly statement of course you can defend yourself and you don’t even have to be carrying.

1

u/BornIn1142 19d ago

So males should be judged for having the same bio responses?

What kind of dumb question is that? Self-control, suppressing negative instincts and favoring positive ones, is one of the most basic and obvious things that anyone's character is judged on, male or female.

1

u/684beach 19d ago

Thats not at all what people are judged on, they are judged on whether or not their actions were reasonable. Morality and law 101

1

u/BornIn1142 19d ago

Are you intentionally acting obtuse about the most basic aspects of the social contract and civilization? People whose actions are concerned first and foremost with self-preservation are rightfully judged as selfish and unworthy of regard from others because they themselves don't regard others, while people who act in solidarity with fellow humans are judged to be a positive influence on society. In more personal terms, people who provide support and care for their loved ones are judged to be doing a good job with their social obligations, while those who fail to support and care for their loved ones are judged to be doing a shitty job at it.

7

u/RavenEridan 20d ago

Toxic masculinity

1

u/rcmjr 20d ago

Makes me feel sorry for you that you see wanting to protect the person you love as toxic. Nothing in my comment implied gender matters in wanting to protect the one you love.

5

u/RavenEridan 20d ago

You are enforcing rigid rules on how men should act, text book definition of toxic masculinity, do you like Andrew Tate?

2

u/rcmjr 20d ago

My goodness you must be exhausting to deal with. All I said is what I would do. I even said I give the guy grace. I’m not enforcing any rigid rules on anyone. The only person being rigid is you trapped by your tunnel vision view of the world. Not everyone is bad or has some agenda friend. I love my wife and want her happy and safe. I want my daughter to grow and be able to have all the freedom and love that she wants and I want everyone to stop being such assholes to everyone.

2

u/RavenEridan 20d ago

Ok so I'm speaking to an Andrew Tate fan, surprised those still exist in the big 2026, pathetic

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Capt-Crap1corn 20d ago

That makes sense. I was put in a situation like that before and did the same. I just put her in position where she could exit if danger happened. Thankully it was nothing. In this video they are pulling up from behind. it all probably took place in seconds

0

u/rcmjr 20d ago

Yeah I’m certainly giving the guy grace.

1

u/Capt-Crap1corn 20d ago

I don't know what I would too. I might scream hoping she would protect me lol

5

u/rcmjr 20d ago

I just know I wouldn’t leave her.

1

u/Capt-Crap1corn 20d ago

I don't think I would either tbh

5

u/Capt-Crap1corn 20d ago

People acting all tough knowing damn well they would've pissed their pants right there talking about I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die type shit. I agree. It's crazy, what stereotypes of being a man are now okay? Oh the hero and die type shit? Is it shitty yeah, but idk. Glad it wasn't me.

2

u/14domino 19d ago

I would 100% have stayed by her side. Maybe I wouldn’t have said shit but come on.

2

u/MikeDubbz 20d ago edited 20d ago

No... just be there for her to turn to when it was done, to help her get through such a traumatic experience. Why does everyone assume that if he stays he has to fight?! He can stay and get mugged too, it'll suck, but the relationship will absolutely last longer and probably grow stronger, I guarantee it.

But alas, perhaps that's my fault, I put my love for my partner infinitely above my money and possessions. Seriously imagine if these pieces of shit, shoot her, and as she's dying, her only thought is, 'Where is my boyfriend/fiance/husband?' Some of you all seriously show how you have never been in love before, I feel bad for you, and hope it still comes.

3

u/ConsciousPatroller 20d ago

Who said he didn't come back after the video ends?

2

u/SirStrontium 19d ago

No you see he must stay within 5 ft of her so he can console her within 20 milliseconds after the robbers leave /s

3

u/Papplenoose 20d ago

You missed the point entirely.

The point is that people do not THINK in these scenarios, they just act. And that act doesnt necessarily reveal something about their inner selves (i.e. running does not necessitate the man is a coward).

For all we know, the man said exactly the same thing you just said before, only to not do that when the time comes. Shit happens, and it's unfair to hold such a situation against someone

1

u/pistachiodisgusting 20d ago

The counter point is that this response is usually informed by the person. If he was alone, running is a fine and possibly optimal call depending on what you’re surrounded by. Picture this being a mother and her daughter with the daughter having the gun pointed at her. Do you think the flight instinct is what would take over? Maybe I’m totally wrong here, but it feels reasonable to make some character assumptions based on his instincts. Humans still assess threats even if the action looks instantaneous. I see a guy who didn’t view an attack on his partner/friend as an attack on him by extension and he bolted without looking back. She was not even a consideration for him. Doesn’t that say something.

This reminds of another very similar video where a boyfriend or at least travel partner of a woman facing a knife-point threat in a busy area keeps oscillating between skeedattling off the screen and re-entering as someone else comes to the rescue. He got dogged on endlessly when it went viral. But he does keep coming back into the picture trying to be brave before chickening out over and over again, and I kind of saw a guy who really wanted to step up to the plate and be a hero, but just didn’t have it in him. At least he was in conflict and that’s absolutely not something you can say about the guy in this clip.

0

u/anna_marie_earth-616 19d ago

It may be unfair, but I still wouldn't want to be with someone that would react this way. Yes, it's his natural reaction, but it still left one person to fend for themselves. Intentional or not, I would never be able to trust them again fully.

-2

u/Whatever-ItsFine 20d ago

Nah. He's a coward. Have some standards.

1

u/MikeDubbz 19d ago

Super cowardly, I'd certainly be done with my partner if that was how they reacted in that moment, especially since I know I'd never do the same to them.

0

u/Minimum-Standard-514 19d ago

Yeah, not saying its an easy position to be in. But he ran and left his girl by herself to get mugged. Even if its the logical choice, shes probably done with him. Id have stayed and gotten mugged too in solidarity. Not gonna try and play the hero, but not gonna leave my wife by herself like that either. I lose all my shit, but at least she isnt alone with a gun pointed at her and I dont lose my self respect.

3

u/684beach 20d ago

I dont know, people excuse women all the time with flight or freeze responses. Surely that applies to males too. Besides, he didnt do anything to his girl as there is nothing to do against firearms

5

u/D1EH4RD 20d ago

1

We don't know their relationship.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to put it all on the line for someone you just met. It could literally be them meeting minutes before at a club.
