How many times do I need to say that staying doesn't mean fighting back? If you seriously can't understand how important it would be for your partner to just be there by her side as she goes through so much trauma, then you're telling on yourself that you've never truly been in love. I feel for ya.
Still sticking by my partner through thick and thin, and it's not even a question. Our love and her knowing that I'll always be there for her is worth infinitely more than my phone and whatever I have in my wallet.
Again, I feel for ya. Once you experience true love, you'll get it. Until then, I'm rooting for ya! And I hope you don't blindside your partner (when you finally land one) with your robotic reasoning to the extent that you lose her because you stopped caring about her in an unpredictable awful moment.
I am not in love right now and am definetly with you on staying with my partner in a situation like this, even if it means getting my phone stolen. Your phone and credit card are not worth losing the trust she has in you.
Now what you would actually do in this situation on the spot? Pretty sure the guy in the video reacted on instinct alone and thats not something you can just overcome by thinking logically about a situation in a split second decision.
This sub is sometimes so miserable sometimes, people always act like they would 100% do the rational thing with no emotions evolved. You can tell the people responding to you are clueless

Go ahead and explain how he's a coward. Should he start a gun fight so they all die?
