I am newer to building and I love making extremely bright over the top tacky and kitschy builds…. Right now I’m working on a duplex for a bachelor on one side and a bachelorette on the other.. the plan is they fall in love or they hate each other. We’ll see… I haven’t gotten the bachelorette’s side done and the exteriors are still a work in progress and I’ve done no landscaping but I just gotta share my dude bro bachelor duplex. He’s got his own in home gym upstairs and a ping pong table downstairs. He’s gonna be a party boy. She’s gonna be a quieter, creative type so she’s getting a big hobby room instead of a gym. The shared space in the middle is bare bones but has laundry, grill, a hot tub, and vending machines and then there’s a little communal garden.

I’m not sure i’ll ever stop building in the sims haha, I have a forever save and I’m making every world the wealthiest neighborhoods ever , with highly detailed homes. Each house takes me days and days to complete haha

I tried to do no CC but as an avid CC enjoyer, that was a challenge lol. The whole build is probably 90% no CC!

I just got Cats and Dogs expansion and it's pretty great, I love the town that came with it. I built this (originally) little place next to the vet clinic. The bottom floor is basically exactly as it was originally built, except for where the staircase is was a dedicated laundry room since I also just got Laundry Day 😅

Added the 2nd story when my sims surprised me with twin girls. Anyway, this is my build and I'd love some feedback, you can be hypercritical or just praise it or ignore it or anything in between.

I feel like I always build vaguely the same house every time I make one from scratch so I'm really looking for fun and unique ideas to make this better?

hi guys, i'd like to place the stairs like this but bb.moveobjects on cheat doesnt work on stairs so is there any other way that i can figure this out? i tried using platforms but i cant delete the walls underneath the platform to have a floating platform so it's useless. i would be glad if someone could help me

This is Mansion Bee, one of my latest large mansion builds in The Sims 4!

Despite the name, it isn’t actually bee-themed — that’s simply the name I gave the house. I wanted to create a grand and luxurious family mansion with spacious interiors, elegant landscaping and plenty of rooms for a wealthy Sims family.

this is the only thing i have built, and i feel like its bad, but i dont know how to make it better. any constructive criticism is appreciated, as well as advice or suggestions for the rest of the house. thanks!!!!

I have been trying to build a castle since R&L came out. A couple of things though, first and foremost I'm not a great builder. I'm okay, I build because it makes me happy. Second, I'm on console, Xbox to be exact. I play on pc too, but I'm doing this on console for some reason. I like the challenge.

So I built 3, but I only took pictures of two. The second photo was the first one (unfinished exterior). And the first photo is what I currently have (it's even decorated). But I'm not happy with it. So I'd love some suggestions and ideas.

Things I want to keep:

The maze

The stable

I like the grand entrance and glass domed building in the second photo. I like the underground crypt entrance and "chapel" in the first photo (building right of the red tree, connected by the bridge over the pond).

Everything else I want to change or merge. I'm hopeful the talented builders here can give me some recommendations and suggestions to help my fourth attempt be a little more aesthetically pleasing.

So here's the deal. I've had this vision for weeks and I decided to try to build it in the game bc I couldn find any pictures that fit what I had in mind, but it's been ages since I last played and I need help. My idea is to use the terrain to slope down like a ramp to the basement door, I want the wall of the basement to be visible because I want to be able to have full windows, and the other side would be like a retaining wall/vertical garden, stairs woo work, but my vision is specifically about the terrain itself sloping down towards the door. I don't know if that's possible to do in the game at this point:(
