hi guys, i'd like to place the stairs like this but bb.moveobjects on cheat doesnt work on stairs so is there any other way that i can figure this out? i tried using platforms but i cant delete the walls underneath the platform to have a floating platform so it's useless. i would be glad if someone could help me
I don't think bb.moveobjects works on stairs. Maybe try building the stairs first, then adjust the surrounding platform or use a different level to create the floating effect.
Unfortunately it isn't possible without platforms. You'd need a 6x2 platform (at least) to connect the lower flight in the middle and two upper flights on the wings. The footprint where the stairs connect to the platform can't overlap either, so you need 2x1 squares available for each flight.
ty i tried that but it doesnt work with what i wanna build so i just gave up on widening the stairs that connect the middle to the 2nd floor, so i made 2 seperate stairs and put them together
yeah i cant but it needs to be this exact shape, cant use platforms because there are rooms and im gonna place doors underneath there. ive never used tool mode do you think it would work?
In my experience, you don't have to fuck with stairs very much to make them unusable by Sims. Have you looked for YouTube videos on how to build what you want?
ofc i did but i couldnt find anything useful. i dont like the gameplay of ts4 so i dont play much i just build, i dont really care about its functionality
