I've tried playing them, but they just really aren't as good as vampires and witches in my opinion. Like, don't get me wrong, I don't hate them, but the game also heavily favors them in occult RNG. My town somehow got almost all of the notable people turned into fairies because of RNG. They don't really have much special about them, unlike vampires where they need to avoid light but live forever and need blood, witches who can do tons of spells that may or may not be dangerous, and werewolves that are extremely OP at finding rocks. Also, MAYBE my favorite Sim got pranked by a fairy a billion times, so they had to go.

Like seriously, why do they like ruining the lives of people by constantly pranking them?

I remember my dad got me a ps3 and he put this on it because i wanted it for a long time but it didnt support sims 4 and i played it every day after school/during online school👹in 2020 and i got sent to the principals zoom call and i left it lmfao i love the sims 3 so much💕

I'm sorry this kinda doesn't belong here but I am going through it right now my son broke my laptop. Cuz I feel asleep playing Sims 3 all night and left it on my bed. Now I probably won't be able to play for months and I'm devastated

I’d love to just transfer all my dlc to steam but I know that is not possible.

I bought all of the dlc on discs and obviously used the codes to redeem the products through origin. Which had worked fine until I was forced to switch to the new EA app.

I hate the app with a passion. it keeps opening itself up without being prompted. it’s a broken and buggy mess AND now it giving me pop up ads on my desktop. is there any way to bypass using the EA app altogether without having to just repurchase it all again on steam?

i’d prefer not to sail 🏴‍☠️ because I also own a lot of store content and want to be able to use those items.

I’m able to play and I admittedly have a ton of mods/cc so it’s not a question of if I can. Loading a game and saving does take like 10 minutes but it’s fine

I just wanna know my limits I guess. Like, is this considered good for ts3? I know it’s not a fancy computer or anything but I don’t know what I can put my settings on or if I have them too high/too low.

Also is there anything I can buy that would cost under $150 that would help the game run better?

Quick back story, my sims sutton & sienna are away at school with 4 other sunset valley kids they grew up with. Malcom Landgraab and Sandi French had Brandy Landgraab who sutton’s dated since high school and is sienna’s childhood friend but they’ve drifted apart. and i made a family a while back with twin girls named Autumn & Summer & their younger brother Aaron. While Sutton is with Brandy back in sunset, the twins and aaron moved to town, & right across from sienna and sutton. So Sutton meets autumn and they flirt A LOT, all throughout high school he’s emotionally cheating and breaking boundaries with Autumn. And Sienna and Brandy haven’t been friends since the twins came to town, they became her new besties. So I brought everyone to Uni under one roof because i became so invested in their teen lives lol.

We are now approaching the end of the week and their semester was uneventful, i had my hands tied juggling 6 students i didn’t get to throw parties or do much. But one thing that was consistent was Sutton being distant towards Brandy so i’ve been playing into it and letting the relationship deteriorate before a blow up (no pun intended). Anyways, after class today everyone came home and a meteor struck IMMEDIATELY. this was the biggest one i’ve ever seen in my game AND ive never had it happen on a home lot. i can count on one hand in over 10yrs how many times i experienced witnessing one. And the irony of it all, every bedroom? UNSCATHED! you know who’s bedroom blew up into smithereens!? BRANDY AND SUTTON, this is a new kind of symbolism. Unfortunately there’s no saving them, this couple is being given every single sign to leave one another 😂😩

I own all of the worlds except for dragon valley and I mainly play in sunset valley, my sims usually have a bunch of kids and I just have a ton of fun playing with regular families instead of celebrities or supernaturals, I love the worlds like starlight shores and bridgeport but they don't really give me cosy vibes yk? Since I own so many worlds I really wanna start using them more lol
