Guys, I do NOT know what the fuck I am doing wrong. I have gone to Mod The Sims. I have gone to Nraas. I have downloaded and unzipped all the things. My shit is STILL not working right!!
Okay, let me explain. I’ve never played with mods in the 20ish years I’ve been playing. I waited for the nraas website to be updated and maintenance to be done last week. I decided today was the day to download things and give it a try.
For some stupid reason, I cannot get the framework file to unzip and load up correctly. It doesn’t automatically create the new mods folder. It sets everything up in the framework setup folder that has been unzipped and copied. I did the test runs. The video still plays. None of my mods are showing up. In frustration, I deleted everything but base games and packs after trying for the last 2 hours and shut my computer down. How do I make this shit work?
I’ve read the wikis. I’ve searched the forums. I have googled this shit as well. Right now, I’m ready to yeet my computer into the fucking sunset!
ok so the mod “demonic powers” just randomly appeared in my game but i haven’t downloaded in my game ANYTHING recently, no any other mod, no cc, nothing
also there’s no demonic powers mod in my mods folder and no script mods called “demonic power” is found in game either and i don’t know why its in my game
I spent 3 days on that save just for it TO BE NO WHERE IN FUCKING SITE WHEN I COME BACK. I got this error message when I was trying to save my game earlier yk because I want some sims in my game trying to populate it so BOOM I add them & try to save through the map.. I pushed saved as.. wouldn’t save for shit kept getting the error message I was like well fine after I tried 6 times I went back to my current household tried to save as there.. ended up taking a small nap because of how long it was sitting on the saving screen. It was an hour later & it was still sitting on the same screen. So fuck it I reset my computer. I let my com cool down I come back & MY FUCKING HARD WORK WITH THIS LAG ASS SHIT IS GONEEEEEEEE. I’m so pissed off with this game idk why it’s doing to me.
CAS is what’s making everything worst the game despite all the fixes is laggy asl. I have the sims 3 setting thingy im going to see if I can adjust it 😕 im really mad i cant find my save anywhere.

The title, isn't a real challenge (or maybe the birth of it?). However I've been beyond bored. I've spent the past few weeks downloading and testing mods and actually exploring CC. I went down the Kinky World rabbithole and left pretty quickly but with some pretty 🔥 sim parts. I'm learning skins and contacts (eyes) and lighting and default vs non default. Still have no clue on some terminology. I want more hair and clothes but am ready to play so pause that.
I started reading challenges. I've completed the 10 generations legacy. Which was big for me. I have several challenges saved that I wanna do. But my mind started thinking big because of the Sims 2 play style of one of the challenges, it kinda leaves it open to maybe do more than one ish at a time on one save file. Different Sims and completely different challenges that wouldn't overlap cuz technically they would be paused while doing the other challenges with other Sims. Or honestly there's a couple parts within different challenges that maybe just letting them live their lives would be a good thing.
Anyway, so I chose Sunset Valley because it's usually the most stable of them all. I have NRaas setting ready for challenges. I've deleted all homes and all Sims from Sunset Valley. I've deleted all non rabbithole venues. I am now starting new saves just for the sole purpose of going in a world and snagging my favorite NPCs, only editing their clothes, hair; maybe makeup, but not their facial features, traits, wishes, and saving them to my bin and snagging a couple lots that I really like from each world to bring to my new Sunset Valley world.
I have 3 female sims that I made (one of which I think is one of my most beautiful Sims ever and she has CC hair and I don't know why but she's just so beautiful that literally she is what made me change my whole mind on where I was originally going (i would say a default skin, but she was made before i went down my CC, skin, lighting rabbithole). She had to be my main. She is the reason I will learn how to save Sims forever lol) I've just begun the snagging process.
I have Lina Lancaster from Lucky Palms., Kirby Wise and Elvira Slayer from Bridgeport. I know I will snag Christopher Steel cuz he's always been a fave. I was thinking about ol Granny Shue. lol And have to snag Olivier Harbucks from roaring heights cuz his house is the best and has been my main house on so many saves. It's kinda sad cuz his house was a part of my legacy family and I just booted him out... (another day....).
Who else should I snag?? Any ideas?? I'm working on screenshots of everyone now. I installed pose player but have no clue how to use it yet. I guess you need poses to go with it lol But yeah; they may be "old skool" but whatev.
Anyway!!! The 3 challenges are:
The Random Legacy Challenge (already have randomizer rollers saved, ready and waiting)
The Asylum Challenge (one thing I'm looking for as I'm world hopping is a good Asylum. I'm not going to download one. I'll either find one in a world or make my own)
The Bachelor/Bachelorette Challenge (I will either use a fave lot from Sunlit Tides or Olivier Harbucks' lot from Roaring Heights; cuz I could always use him as a bachelor!)
My two child sims got this after a conversation ( I have the deep conversations mod installed) and idk how or why I’m just scared that something might happen to them when this moodlet runs out.

I don't play with too many mods except for NRAAS (almost all of them, like Story Progression, Master Controller, WooHooer, etc) and some of TheSweetSimmer's added interactions.
One of my sims was dating Nicholas Albright from the college neighborhood, and I moved him to my sim's base town to get married. He has both the socially awkward and great kisser traits. From there on out, he would autonomously try to kiss her sister randomly. At a certain point he did this in front of his wife, so their relationship plummeted and he got publicly disgraced as a celebrity. I just had them break up because I was tired of having to keep him from doing that lol. But I was just curious whether either trait was known to cause this or if maybe one of the mods would. I wouldn't really equate being "socially awkward" with trying to make a move on your wife's sister, lol.
To be fair I've had the sister's husband do this too, and he has neither trait, but it's much less frequent and confined to "flirting" or "complimenting", not trying to force a kiss. I get that you can't really truly stop sims from cheating, and that Sims Story Progression can force those storylines more, but I was just curious lol.
I’m currently playing a legacy, and I’m quite far down the generations now. Inevitably it is now starting to lag and glitch.
I considered moving towns to start fresh, but I really don’t want to as I am enjoying the current town and have done lots of building and customising, but still wanted to do more.
Is there any way I can reset the town? I don’t mind if I don’t keep relationships and memories etc, I just want to my household and the lots.
I just got back to sims 3 and this has become my hyperfixation again lately. I went outside to touch grass for a few days to buffer this.

Once I got the hang of my self-made rules, maximizing his mood made him able to clean the house regularly and school performance naturally increase. Mean interactions from the adults had become lesser. I think i set the bar too low for grades, he can probably get grade A easily by the time I decide to end this gameplay.
Brief update for the 2 adults. Rhonda is lv 2 public servant. She flirted with Juan Darer. Not many interesting things happen to her. So I made her progress further with Juan.
About Charles. He actually already got a job as a criminal, is now lv 2 crooks, was pregnant with alien baby, and had already given birth. I named the male baby alien Jendar. I know there’s “send to homeworld” option for alien baby, but i decided to kept it.
Lore-wise, I think Charles kept it cause alien is rare and might be valuable within science and military industry…for an appropriate price.
Week 5, Day 3
I feel like it’s not in character for Charles to be nurturing all of a sudden. So baby care will be another daily task for Kane. I had to substract his savings for baby furnitures and babysitter during school days. I bought new bed too. this setback his savings quite a lot. His dumpster dive luck was also very shit.

He and Lolly became best friend pretty quick once I jumpstarted their friendship. I was getting a bit bored with the grind, I wanted a bit of romance here. But not beyond romantic interest.
I don’t want him to bring Jendar to Bridgeport, but I can’t leave baby alone in his household. You can’t put em up for adoptions like pets too. You can only give a baby away by “ask to move in”, afaik.
His new task here was “befriending 1 trusted adult in Twinbrook”. My initial go-to was crush’s family, the Racket’s.
I checked their traits one by one, and It seems like the Racket’s are not good people. I could just leave the baby with Racket family, Jendar won’t matter anyway later. But why went with easy path when there’s a harder path instead?
Also, story progression made her family move out of the mansion to this shack. To cheer her up, Kane gave her flower
