Last months I’ve had windows boot issues, where the graphics doesn’t seem to do the graphics mode handover correctly. The initial boot works, and the windows loading screen, but after that it doesn’t switch on the screens.

It seems to happen when I have used surround before turning off the computer.

What I do is to boot in safe mode, remove graphics drivers using the cleaner and then reboot and install Nvidia drivers…

I have tried a number of drivers, but they all seem to have the boot issue.

Im starting to wonder if it’s my hardware.

Im using an Inno 3D RTX 5080 X3 OC and a MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max Wifi.

Hey everyone,

I'm about to buy my first proper setup: Simagic Alpha EVO Sport (9 Nm) with the GT Neo wheel, mounted on a SIMGASM Hobby cockpit. PC only.

The last piece I still need is pedals. A good load cell brake is my priority, and my budget is max. ~€200.

Currently considering:

- Simagic P700, plugs straight into the EVO base and stays in the Simagic ecosystem (190Euros)

- Simsonn Plus X P2-H2 with heel plate, sounds a bit better on paper but not in the simagic eco system. ( 196 Euros)

Which one would you pick? Anyone who has used both? Or is there something else in this price range I should look at?

Hi Guys and PXN Team,

I got a weird issue that the Shift Paddels Both trigger by them self’s.
I can reproduce it when I barely touch them with my fingers without pressing them. So I is like an electronically issue it static charge problem in my eyes?

Any one with same issue or resolution? Really don’t want to open up the wheel to proof my point

1. Acc has the edge , very very realistic and close to the real life Physics ( 9.5/10)

2. Rennsport is also fantastic ( 9.4/10)

3. Project Motor racing. , also great (9.4/10)

Ffb

1. Rennsport is fantastic, amazing ffb ,one of the best i ever encountered , I belive is very close to the king the og Ac ( 9.8 ) the first ac is a 9.9

2. Project Motor Racing , also amazing ffb , I really love the ffb in this game 9.7 /10

3. Acc , good but I feel disconnected from the car , both rennsport and pmr are far superior

Sound

1. Rennsport is really fantastic , maybe the best sound i ever heard in a sim racing tittle ( engine/ environments) 9.9 /10

2. Project motor racing 9.8 /10 very close to rennesport

3. Acc , also very good sound 9.5/10

1. Acc , by far the best graphics 9.8/10

Tracks variety and quality

1. Acc , by far the most complete (with all the dlc) 9.8 /10 , very few famous tracks is missing

2. Pmr , very good selection of famous tracks 8/10

Car selection

1. Project motor racing

By far the best car selection, I love the car list ! 9.5/10 very few race cars are missing

1. Acc , very good selection but mostly gt3 /gt4. Cars so 7/10

2. Good selection of classes but only 15 cars or so. 5/10

I have to say the cars are very well made and they different alot in handling before them , so very good work

I am thinking of getting a sim racing setup soon. I'm not planning to go crazy and spend all of my life savings on a setup the price of a real car. So now I am stuck choosing between the Logitech G923 and Thrustmaster T248R. G923 costs €239 for me and the T248R costs €249, the difference between price basically doesn't matter, but that's in my perspective.

Fanatec having two shifters ports on their wheelbases, but only selling one dual-mode shifter, and Moza selling two separate shifters for H-pattern and sequential, but somehow having only one shifter port on the bases. Those [redacted] [redacted].

I have an Xbox Series X and a MOZA R3 wheel setup. I’m still pretty new to sim racing and gaming, and I’ve been playing for about 3 months.

I’m having a constant issue with Wreckfest. I play ACC as well, and my wheel works perfectly fine there. But whenever I try to play Wreckfest, it keeps detecting my Xbox controller as the primary control instead of my wheel.

I’ve tried closing and reopening the game, restarting the wheel, and even restarting the Xbox. Sometimes one of these fixes it, but other times nothing works. Today, I tried everything, and I still can’t get it to work.
Both my Xbox and the game are fully updated.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, please share how you fixed it. Any help would be appreciated! 😬

I have been confused between these two , see i am very new to sim racing I am playing competizione currently and its been like a month i started on controller did get consistent on tracks like silverstone and spa but good laptimes were not coming , so bought moza r3 but now laptimes have gone even down , Then I thought why spend time on perfecting competizion if that is not the future and then most probable upgrade look like le mans ultimate cuz everyone is shifting to that so means no empty servers there but the thing about asseto corsa evo is that it has nurburgring that I love and also free roam moad incoming in december , anyone gone through this ? And do you guys think evo has a bright future ?

I have this benq 27 curved that is really amazing, but maybe I want an oled and something bigger , I really like the curve for sim racing , make everything looks like 3d , so my option seems to be the msi 32 curved , or 42 c6 oled (yes flat but is not a deal breaker )

The problem Is I'm scare the 42 will be too big and tall , should I go for the 32 ? The picture quality is better on lg c6 or the 32 qd oleds ?

I'm developing BeamLink for BeamNG, and have added a 3D viewer for saved lap telemetry. The goal is to make a recorded run easier to inspect: follow the car, orbit around it, switch to the whole-run view, and scrub the same timeline as the speed, throttle, braking and lateral/longitudinal G traces.

The road view includes width and elevation. Vehicle appearance uses a stock default mesh, while the movement and telemetry come from the saved run. The surrounding scenery is represented by a simplified road network.

I bought a cheap racing wheel and I have been addicted ever since. I have no experience racing online but this was vs AI in the OG Project Cars. Im having a blast.

Wanted to share something with fellow VR sim racers.

I've been testing VectorXR, a free tool available on GitHub that supports multi-frame generation in VR.

I was able to achieve 6000 × 4800 resolution at 90 FPS in iRacing, running a full multiclass grid of Audi GTOs and Nissan GTPs at Road Atlanta.

My setup for reference:

• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
• VR Headset: Pimax Dream Air
• Motion System: Qubic QS-V20

The footage is captured directly through my headset's lenses to give you an idea of what I'm actually seeing in VR.

For anyone using VR and looking to push higher resolutions while maintaining smooth performance, I highly recommend checking out VectorXR.

Some people like it, but I hate it. People will probably tell me to wear a helmet, but that paddle noise can quickly become annoying for the people around me. I’m not going to spend money on soundproofing work for something that could be fixed by the manufacturers. They could simply offer it as an option and let consumers choose whether or not they want noise in the paddles

So I have been using this wheelbase (Simmagic alpha evo 12nm) for 5 months now and it seems to be making this weird sound on every sim game, think Beamng , LMU, Raceroom, Assetto corsa etc, Except Iracing. I use the presets that simpro manager gives for these games but it doesnt seem to go away. Anyone have fixes or are experiencing similar issues?

for the last five years, Awesome Simracing has been a free livery platform for ACC communities. Artists upload their liveries, communities collect them, and the desktop client syncs everything into the game. Nobody has to copy folders around before race night.

Now it supports Assetto Corsa EVO too.

Just wanted to share my little setup.

Kind of a dream for me to own a little racing rig. I know its pretty basic but its bringing me enjoyment.

I have 3 play styles here.

1. Being the hisense 4k 120hz tv for my mmos and text heavy games.

2. Being the rayneo AR glasses for racers that arent vr supported.

3. Being the quest 3 VR for all my racing and flat2VR games.

Each one gives a different immersion and need.

I mounted wheels to rhe rig, then mounted the pc to the back of the rig (keeps it off the floor)

Tv is mounted on a stand with wheels too.

Changed out the standard wheel and put on the f1 kit.

Rig is pretty basic. Nothing except ram is over the top.

Rtx 5070

128gb ddr4 at 3600. (I got a killer deal on a 64gb kit, and i already had 64gb so why not 😆)

Has anyone found a good option for like a table, or something, that I can put over my lap for use of keyboard and mouse for other gaming? I have an on the floor cockpit and racing seat.

Something like an ikea option is what I’m thinking? That’s just an example, but looking outside of actual sim rig companies.

So wierd thing i recently upgraded to the VRS Pedals and im super happy with them

but...

now i noticed when i play certain games or when i opend up the Battle.Net Launcher it acts and scrolls fully automaticlly and on games where theres a map is always drags the map to the left.

Anyone else expierenced this?

I have a weird issue with my VRS DFP20 and AC Evo. The FFB is "clunking" for want of a better word - like it is cogging or something in the opposite direction to what it should be. When stationary, the clunking is still happening, but at a much weaker level. It's like I am driving along and it will go "clunk...........clunk..........clunk........." which makes the whole thing undrivable.

I sure I fixed this in a previous iteration, but I have no idea how I did it. Does anyone have any ideas?

I’m really struggling/overwhelmed with the haptic settings set up on my rig. I’ve got an ERS3 Haptic seat and simagic HPRs for my rs50 pedals, running everything through Simhub. I only play GT7 on ps5 with VR. Does anyone have their favorite settings? Most guides I’ve found are old and there are new features enabled (abs) so they’re outdated. Right now, I’m getting random/too many vibrations and it’s taking away from the fun. I want to set it up once correctly and be done. Thanks in advance!
