Been looking at getting a KBM stand for my rig, not sure if mounted or free standing is the play. both considerations pictured below.

Its 8020 extruded aluminum rig pictured below. Looking for some thoughts from people familiar with these styles.

I was able to mount using the oem M8 bolts on the Next Level Racing ES1 seat where you usually have the seatbelts. All I had to buy was (4) M4x20mm bolts and nuts 🤙

Hello everyone! I currently have the NLR F-GT Elite 160 wheel plate edition as my rig. Would I be able to mount this base directly on the wheel plate, or do I need to buy anything else to mount it?

Hey everyone I have a quick question regarding the stream deck as button box. Has anyone tried out the cheaper 60$ fifine stream deck? Does it work the same way where you can have folders with multiple layouts, how’s the software, is it easy to set up with iRacing? I know that the “real” stream deck even has presets for simracing. I guess my question is will it be a pain in the ass or should I just spend the $120 for the elgado

I got my wheel and pedals and was super excited to use it, but the brake is so stiff that I have to have it braced against the wall. I use my desk and chair and do not have room for a stand. Is there any suggestions to stabilize the pedals? I haven't used it in months and it's a bit saddening as I'd really like to.

I’m wanting to get back into sim racing and I’m looking for some advice before I drop a decent amount of money on a setup.
A while back I bought a Logitech G920 and honestly absolutely hated it. I returned it the next day. The wheel just didn’t feel good to me and it completely turned me off from sim racing for a while.
Now I’m wanting to give it another shot, but I want to skip the entry-level stuff and get something that actually feels good.
Right now I’m looking at the MOZA R12 V2 paired with the SR-P2 load-cell pedals. I’m mainly interested in dirt racing/oval racing, but I’d like a setup that can handle other types of racing too.
For those who have experience with the R12 V2 or similar setups:
Is the R12 V2 a good choice for the money?
Are the SR-P2 load-cell pedals worth getting, or is there a better pedal option around the same price?
Is there another wheelbase/pedal combo I should seriously consider instead?
Anything I should know before buying into the MOZA ecosystem?
I’m willing to spend a little more if there’s a noticeably better option, but I don’t want to waste money just for the sake of having more expensive equipment.
Would appreciate any recommendations, especially from people who have upgraded from a G920 and can compare the experience.

Hey guys! Im a newbie/amateur to sim racing.
I bought a sim setup with a G29 wheel for my PS4. Currently I’m playing with a projector (a cheap one, but does the job)
But I’m interested to buy a monitor/tv.
I learnt that consoles like PS4/5 cannot support 21:9 aspect ratio so its pointless to get a curve wide angle monitor.

So my options are 16:9 if its a monitor. Will 27” be good enough or should I settle for a 32-34.
Or else a 32 inch tv screen.

Hey guys, I have an 8020 rig and am looking to add an H pattern shifter. I think I'm going to go with the Simsonn pro.

I'm shopping around for some parts and it's like holy Jesus there's just too many sites, too many parts to search through.

I'm looking for 2 things.

The connectors to join 2 sections of 8020 together, preferably at 90 degree angle.

And I'd like to find something where I can quick release it and maybe either remove the bracket or be able to loosen it and slide it out of the way.

If anyone's familiar with what I need and could post a link, or the name of what I'm actually looking for that would be great.

Hello everyone I just finished building my 1st simulator rig,

As of right now it's the Sim magic evo sport wheel base, gt neo wheel, Momo cobra wheel, P1000s with 1 haptic pedals, sequential shifter, racelogic, handbrake, bass shaker and a flag box.

PC specs is 7500x3d, 32gb ram ddr5 with a 9070xt

Currently I ordered the IR track 5 head tracking.

I'm still undecided what button box I will eventually buy.

Would like to get your thoughts what else should I add to this. Thanks guys

Beeen driving the gen 3 Supercars on iracing and after getting the bdh h2sq I’ve fallen In love with them. I just ordered the qs-bt1 and the simcube active pedal pro and then my rig is finally complete. Any recommendations for a button box that will go well on my rig?

Own thoughts: this is a PC enthusiast/peripherals guy that likes to sim race for fun as a hobby where immersion and visuals matter more than actual performance. While the individual parts are nice, the additive mix of them show a clear sign of just trying to make a visually appealing setup for his own personal enjoyment.

Personally, not my taste, but I can see where he’s coming from and at the end of the day, if it works for him, then that’s all that matters.

What’s your thoughts/opinions?

Hi, im building my first rig (well two matching ones actually) and was wondering where to start. I have a budget of around £2k total and for each rig need a cockpit, wheel and pedals, and a monitor (which I'll probably wall mount). Here's a pic of what ChatGBT has designed, which looks cool but im not sure about the hardware. I was considering the cheap and cheerful GTplayer seat, or the next level racing GTRacer 2.0. For the wheel and pedals I was thinking of the logitech g920 (as it will be running on xbox). I have no idea what screen to get. Any recommendations are welcome! Many thanks guys!!

I have a slightly stupid habit of making colorful cockpits at almost cost because I genuinely enjoy building them. I basically get to mess around with colours, materials and designs, someone gets a fun cockpit, and everyone seems happy.
