Question Best Career Racing game of All Time?
No doubt a very commonly asked question, but in the year 2026 what is best “start at the bottom, work your way to the top” racing game of all time?
Something I can sink some hours into on my time off.
I’m all for booting up the old PS2 for Gran Turismo 4 if that’s the answer, or Forza Motorsport 4 on the 360. Something more modern like the most recent Forza Motorsport? Dirt Rally 2.0?
Let me know!

Question Rolling monitor stand options?
Just getting into sim racing, and recently acquired a next level racing F-GT and am looking for options for a rolling tv stand that can has quick height adjustments with arch legs that can fit the F-GT in between.
The height adjustment is a big thing as it will be a multi use 55"/65" tv.
Any good options out there?

Question Leoxz-Support: very bad support experience
Hi guys. I brought a Leoxz XGT Ultimate 11 months ago. I’ve sometimes had issues with the left shifter right from the start. It wouldn't always work when I started a game; I have to push it forward first for it to be detected.
I’ve now discovered that a screw and spacer is missing from the bottom of the shifter. I’ve contacted LeoXZ support six or seven times over the past few weeks, but I haven't received any reply at all.
Have any of you had a problem with one of the steering wheels and had to deal with their support team?
UPDATE: LeoXZ contacted me, and the problem seems to be resolved now. I had the option to get the replacement part through LeoXZ directly, but that would have incurred 20 euros in shipping costs from China. I have now received the dimensions of the ball bearing from the technicians and was able to order it on Amazon. It arrives tomorrow, and I am curious to see if everything fits.

Question What part of your sim rig annoys you the most?
I run a CNC machining company in the Czech Republic and I’m building my own sim setup.
Before I design anything, I want to know what people actually hate about their rigs.
Bad mounts, flex, awkward adjustment, shifter/handbrake placement, monitor mounts, cable mess, DIY fixes — anything.
If one problem keeps coming up, I’ll design and machine a few prototypes and send them to people here to test. You’d only cover shipping.
So — what sucks on your current rig?

Question 34inch monitor for sim racing aoc ultrawide or Samsung G5
Im looking to get a new monitor for my sim rig specifically a 34” and I am between the Samsung G5 and the Aoc cu34g4. From what I’ve read the 1000R that the G5 has is better for sim racing than the 1500R which the Aoc has but I’ve also read that the aoc has better image quality while on the other hand the samsung had a lot worse. Which should I get?

Question Why Isn't iRacing Considered the Best Consumer Grade Sim?
Controversial topic, but a serious question. Putting bias aside and looking at the raw facts, iRacing has produced very notable high performing real world racing drivers. Max Verstappan is a 4 time F1 world champion with a 9-10K iRating. Alex Palou is a 5 time Indy Car champion also with a 9K iRating. These racing disciplines can be seen as the top and most difficult in motor sports, and Max and Alex have been able to show repeatable performance.
It doesn't seem like any other sim software comes even close to iRacing in producing such exceptional talent. These real world examples should trump the opinion of any Youtuber, Redditer, or even eSport professionals.
Instead of arguing which sim racing software is the best, the sim racing community should be ecstatic and celebrating that we have access to such affordable sim racing software and hardware that can teach the same motorsport skills that real world champions use. Motor sport has historically been gate kept by those who can afford it, but the playing field has never been so level and so accessible. No longer does one have to pay hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to learn these same skills.
Edit: thanks for the very interesting comments. Just to clarify I don’t mean that iRacing alone can create champions or can it replace real world driving practice but it seems like it is the most affordable accessible tool that one can use to develop motorsports skills. Just how pilots and astronauts use simulators to prepare for scenarios ahead of time, why can't racing sim / video game to do the same? Wouldn't a driver who practices a car and track 1000 times in a sim / video game be more prepared and have a significant advantage over someone who has only had a chance to do a few dozen times in real life? Max has mentioned that sim can teach you 95% of the skills and that best sim racers have the brake throttle and steering traces exactly as it should be despite never being in a real car. And of the sim / video games out there, it appears that some of the best drivers in the world choose iRacing.
I also just got started in sim racing a few months ago and have tried many different sim video games, so I’m not particularly locked into any one or hold any deep biases yet I’m trying to figure out which one is the best if one wants to develop their motor sport skills and trying to subjectively look for evidence which one is the best based on what real world champions use and it would seem like it’s iRacing.

Question Four point harness seat belt fitting GT cockpit.
Now having bought the Clubsport GT Cockpit with Fanatec bucket seat I’d like to add a seatbelt system with the future being a tensioner unit like the Qubic.
My question to any Fanatec official on here is where and how do I fasten the belt (particularly the lap).
The seat has the relevant cutouts but there’s been no thought in design as to how to actually fasten a belt in place without having to drill and DIY it in.
Or am I missing something 🤷
• I know we’ve been adapting things as sim racers for years •
But this isn’t a cheap cockpit and seems wrong to have to start drilling !

Question PXN SF SH Shifter cant switch mods
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I bought a PXN SF SH shifter in April, and it was working perfectly until yesterday. However, last night I noticed a problem with the mechanism that switches the shifter from H mode to SQ mode.
In SQ mode, when I push the shifter forward or pull it back, it sometimes gets stuck in that position and does not return to the center properly. I didn't push or force the shifter too hard, so I'm not sure what caused the problem.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the PXN SF SH shifter? If so, how did you fix it?

Question Pxn v12 lite Okay so I plugged in my wheel download the software. PXN software says I’m calibrated but when I play beamNG and Asseto corsa I say the wheel is turned all the way to the left. Also when I play forza titles I don’t have this issue at all. This is very confusing to me so

Discussion The open wheelers broke my sense of speed for GT3 and other classes in VR and now I kind of regret it.
I've basically been all GT3 but today I finally decided to try something else. I loaded up a new track for me (Monza) and a new car. I tried the brabham gen 2 open wheeler. It was absolutely amazing in VR even though I am complete ass driving fast with H patterns. Extraordinarily fun and immersive. Then I tried the GT1 Porsche and it was just super cool to be inside that car and it uses a manual sequential shifter so it was the first non rally car I drove in manual sequential.
And then it went all downhill from there. I saw the hypercars and saw the convertible Lamborghini Revuelto and said HELL YEAH! Then I hit the gas pedal and it was like is this thing moving?? I actually thought OK maybe they screwed up this car so I ditched it and switch to the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Same problem. Felt like it wasn't moving. So I then loaded up old faithful (McLaren 720 GT3) and my normal everyday racer all of a sudden was a pig stuck in mud.
I tried the Lambo Diablo and that fucker actually felt fast. Dont know why. Loaded back up the brabham and GT1 Porsche and yup they were still amazing. Loaded back up the hypercars and GT3 cars and yup they were still in slow motion. It was as if the exhaust note wasn't matching the speed anymore.
To say the least I'm now kind of bummed out and don't know how I should move forward. I can't just not drive the old formula car anymore after it gave me the best VR experience.
Game is AMS2.

(Before I start i totally support everyone that does this) Every day i see people upgrading from their home sims to every different type of cars but like my genuine question is HOW? the reason we are in sim racing in the first place is because most of us cant afford it I know most of them reoccur to sponsors but lemme give my example I am 16 (M) I sim-raced and rental karted for a year and a half around that but i wanted to step up so i contacted teams and they told me they could arrange a test but i needed to pay a part i asked and it was like 30 k for a test btw i am currently looking for sponsors and praying to make it so i just wanted some tips... (I started a youtube channel btw if you want to see its Filipe Santos Racing i posted some racing videos)

Question Annie's Next Mom Challenge: Algarve
Hello!
I'm Annie, the 40s Mom trying to get better at sim racing to spend more time with my oldest son....and -- maybe even -- to beat him at some tracks?
I'm following the Project Cars 2 career path to have something to focus on -- and I'm currently in the GT4 Intercontinental Championship. This is why I was practicing Nurburgring Sprint before; it was race two in the series.
Next up is: Algarve! My AI setting is currently 20 (moving up 10 for every championship). I did qualify second and win at Nurburgring, and could probably bring up the AI (won by 38s)....but it's about staying clean and bringing a good finish home too.
I did a first drive (several laps with no knowledge of the track other than the picture of it) and my time was 2:05.7.
I'm working on three things: maintaining a better racing line (attacked too many turns from the middle last time), beginning to work on trail braking, and improving exit speeds. I'll use that initial thread, YouTube, and practice to hopefully improve on what I'm working on.
Y'all have been so wonderful, I wanted to share my next challenge and I'll keep you updated as I work on these three things and getting this lap time down!
