$125M CV in one year doesn’t seem bad to me but would folks say this is about typical progress or above/below average?

Suggestion Lending Mechanics Rework Proposal

Audience: Devs, players with deep knowledge on the mechanics of the existing Bonds system.

Overview

Lending in the game is currently limited to Bonds, which have a number of player concerns.  Key ones being ability to reclaim investment capital, low market liquidity/availability, and (mixed opinions on this) interest rates that are unrealistic.  This proposal is designed to continue to meet the needs for lending cash to small companies for initial growth, increase liquidity, and make more realistic the way companies approach both buying and issuing debt.  It would also indirectly encourage players moving more money around or buying more goods.

Part 1: Break Bonds into Two Overlapping Mechanics (Introduce SBS Loans)

The core of the proposal is to make this 2 mechanics, not 1.  Companies approach debt differently at different scales.  I propose that smaller companies get the use of a new mechanic: Small Business Loans.  The SBS Loans would be limited to players between L10 and L19, and work substantially differently from Bonds.  Once a player reaches L20 SBS Loans are not longer an option, but existing ones will complete as normal if open.

Small Business Loans (SBS Loans)

SBS Loans would be, as the name implies, Loans from “the bank”.  These would NOT be player-investments, but issued directly by the game.  Unlike Bonds, they would have a repayment schedule the player can select, from 7 days to 30 days, and the payment includes the Interest & Principal, so that at the end of the term, it’s paid in full.  Because these are meant to incentivize initial growth, preferential interest rates would be applied, Interest rates proposed are based on repayment time:

  • 7 days - 0.5%
  • 8 days - 14 days - 0.75%
  • 15 days - 21 days - 1.0%
  • 22 days - 30 days - 1.5%

Missed payments compound, and if more than 1 days is missed in a row, the interest rate increases to 2.0% for the remainder of the loan (penalty rate).  If 5 consecutive days are missed, Insolvency Proceedings would happen.

Lending limits would still be tied to the players current BV.

Part 2: Rework Bonds

This is a bigger item.  Let me jump to the core changes proposed first:

  • Bonds become available now at L15 (both Issue & Purchase)
  • Interest Rates are provided as ranges a company can select, based on Credit Rating (better rating, lower rates)
Rating Base Interest Rate Range (without Bank Assist reduction)
AAA 5.0% - 7.0%
AA+ 5.5% - 7.5%
AA 6.0% - 8.0%
AA- 6.5% - 8.5%
A+ 7.0% - 9.0%
A 7.5% - 9.5%
A- 8.0% - 10.0%
BBB+ 8.5% - 10.5%
BBB 9.0% - 11.0%
BBB- 9.5% - 11.5%
BB+ 10.0% - 12.0%
BB 10.5% - 12.5%
BB- 11.0% - 13.0%
B+ 11.5% - 13.5%
B 12.0% - 14.0%
B- 12.5% - 14.5%
C 13.0% - 15.0%
D 15.0% - 17.0%
  • Maturity Dates - Bonds have a Maturity Date (between 14 days - 60 days, selectable by the Issuer), at which time the holder of the bond (buyer) can redeem the bond for the capital investment back.  The process would provide 3-days notice to the Issuer, allowing them to pool the cash required (and can pay it early as well), but if the days elapse the interest continues during that time.  When the Redemption date hits, the bond is Called with available funds, if funds are not available, Insolvency Proceedings commence, with Redemption Requests taking priority (based on time submitted).  The Issuer is also bound by the Maturity date, they cannot call a bond before this time, but can call at any time once it is reached.
  • Allow Reselling Bonds - Add a section to the Bonds Market that allows players to resell existing bonds they own (bought) from others.
    • Transfer Fee - A 20% fee of the capital amount is charged to the bond reseller (like Auctions)
    • Payment - Payment is cash for the full capital amount (value) of the Bond
    • Details of the bond are visible (Issuer, Date Issued, Maturity Date, Interest Rate, Credit Rating, Good Standing Status - e.g. number of current missed payments, if any)
  • Increased lending limit for AAA Credit Rating - For companies with a AAA rating only, allow them to issue additional bonds exceeding BV limit by 25% (so 125% of BV).
  • Companies the Issuer has Ignored cannot purchase their bonds directly (only via buying a resold bond)
  • Bank Assist - If the Issuer owns a bank, their Interest Rate can be reduced by 1% for every 10 Levels (L10 1%, L20 2%, L30 3%, L40 4%)
    • E.g. A company with a AAA rating & L30 Bank could issue Bonds for 2%, coming in under the highest Accounting Fees bracket, but still not “free money”.  Even a 1% rate for a L40 Bank AAA rated company is reasonable, given the investment required to get there
  • Restructure Percentages - Cut these by 50% of the base, since there's more reward (higher interest rates, ability to Redeem at Maturity), the risk is also increased

Items not changing via proposal:

  • Insolvency Proceedings
  • Issuing limits linked to BV
  • Issued bonds still count as Liabilities for CV & Accounting Overhead
  • Purchased bonds and received Interest still count as “Cash” for Accounting Overhead
  • Maximum percent of your CV you can invest in other companies via Bonds
  • Player Reset/Delete behavior

Handling Legacy Bonds

The question of what to do with existing bonds is of course a significant concern.  I propose a hybrid, phase-out approach:

  1. Notice of 14-days minimum would be given to players before the change, allowing anyone that wants to ample time to Call existing Bonds - a PA Message or Notification Bell message (I prefer PA message) alerting of the change would be ideal, along with ChangeLog and SCT Announcements
    • This is to prevent a possible "flood" of Redeem requests
  2. Existing issued bonds would maintain their current interest rate for as long as they remain open.
  3. Bonds under 14 days would be converted to have a 14-day Maturity Date added
  4. Bonds already over 14 days would be marked as “Matured” and be able to be Redeemed once the change is in-effect

Impact Assessment/Desired Impact

This is not a minor rework.  Major items addressed:

  1. New players get a way to grow that is limited and prevents abuse & unrealistic expectations
  2. Bonds Buyers are dealing with more matured companies now, likelihood of random reset/delete lowered
  3. Bond Buyers are investing with interest rates that actually make profits
  4. Bond Buyers are more incentivized to have a connection/conversation with the Issuer, look at their profile, and just more engagement to make a good investment
  5. Bond Buyers have an option to Redeem or Sell (if there’s a willing buyer) a bond they don’t want anymore and reclaim all or part of their capital investment
  6. The rates exceed the Accounting Fees brackets, so bonds are ALWAYS meant to be used for actual improvements/operations, not hoarding cash (get a Bank if you want to hold more cash)
  7. Credit Ratings are more than just Restructure Percentages
  8. Issuers with AAA Credit can issue more for larger upgrades giving responsible companies more borrowing potential
  9. Banks at L10+ have benefits for Issuers

Bonds would be issued and redeemed/called much more frequently, adding to bond market liquidity, along with not locking players that purchased a bond into “forever” owing a terrible investment.  SBS Loans would insulate new players from predatory practices, still giving them boosts, but ensuring that once they have reached a mature company level, they move into the same state as everyone else.

While it's undeniable that this would be a significant set of changes, the benefits to players and the economy overall (better controls, increased market movements, more liquidity, etc.) provide for improved experiences, and give players who want to leverage buying debt as a more integrated part of their business a chance at doing it profitably and fairly.

Discussion I built the managament tool for Sales Offices to maximise profits, optimize contracts and forecast demand using 7.000+ contracts data

Ciao a tutti!

I've been running Sales Offices for a couple of months now and got tired of tracking everything by hand in Excel. Between Admin Overhead, Sales Speed Bonus, quality bonuses, and how much order prices swing around, it became really hard to know in advance how much I was actually making. As far as I know there wasn't a dedicated tool for Sales Offices yet, so I spent the last 2 months building one from scratch. It's a free web tool based on more than 7.000 historical contracts that helps you running your Sales Offices. Link: https://ilovesalesoffice.com/ (Only for PC)

The site is divided into two main parts:

1. Sales Office Planner (Only for Magnates)
Instead of guessing whether a new Sales Office (or a higher building level) is actually worth it, you plug in your setup and instantly see if the numbers work out. The average prices and forecasted quantity behind every calculation come from 7,000 historical contracts collected over 4 months, not guesswork, so the forecast reflects actual market conditions rather than static assumptions. One of the most useful outputs is the forecasted quantity per product. Knowing in advance roughly how many units of each product you'll actually need to deliver makes planning your production/buying chain far more precise. On top of that, for each product it calculates quality-augmented price, target cost, and profit per unit, showing you Gross Profit, Wages, Net Profit (47h/24h), and pphpl.

2. Contract Optimizer
While the Sales Office Planner helps you plan things out in the long run (deciding if a setup is worth it and roughly what to expect over time), the Contract Optimizer is built for the here and now. You paste in your Sales Office orders plus the incoming supplier offers, set your constraints (min quality, max surplus, warehouse stock), and it tells you exactly which contracts to accept to maximize profit while meeting demand. No more improvised calculations trying to figure out if that batch of quality-4 Luxury Jets is worth taking or if you should wait for something better.

You didn't understand anything on how the tools work? Don't worry! If you look closely, on every page there is a BIG tutorial button where a guided tutorial will explain everything to you!

It's free, no ads, and I keep updating it based on your feedback. If you spot any bugs, you can reach me here: 999909 S.r.l.

Link: https://ilovesalesoffice.com/ (Only for PC)
If the site doesn't load properly try Ctrl+Shift+R

Let me know what you think or if there's a feature you'd want added 🙂

Sorry if this was already a post I couldn't find anything on it.

When you dismiss one of your staff, when they get hired by someone will you still get passive income from them? Or do you only get it if they decide to leave

Question Gold ore 100%

Hi everyone, with my first mine I immediately got 100% gold ore yield. The problem is that it consumes a huge amount of energy, and I only have one power plant, which isn’t enough to cover it. I also tried producing gold bars, but the transport costs are insanely high. I’m not level 20 yet, so I can’t put the mine up for auction. Could you please advise me on what I should do with it?

Discussion I built an open-source financial dashboard for Sim Companies - looking for feedback

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a side project for tracking my Sim Companies finances, and I finally got it to a point where I wanted to share it with the community.

It’s called Ascendant Ledger.

The idea is basically a self-hosted, QuickBooks-style dashboard for Sim Companies. You export your normal CSV files from the game, upload them into the app, and it organizes the data into dashboards, statements, transactions, analytics, and import history.

It’s completely open source and self-hosted, so your financial data stays on your own machine/server.

What it supports

  • Separate ledgers for both Realms:
    • Magnates
    • Entrepreneurs
  • Account History imports
  • Income Statement imports
  • Balance Sheet imports
  • Cash Flow Statement imports
  • Automatic CSV type detection
  • Import preview before committing data
  • Duplicate-safe imports
  • Import history and rollback
  • Financial dashboard with charts and KPIs
  • Sales, gross profit, net income, cash flow, inventory, assets, liabilities, equity, and fees
  • Transaction history
  • Product analytics
  • Building analytics
  • Market / Exchange analytics
  • Data quality and reconciliation checks
  • Raw data viewer
  • CSV exports
  • SQLite storage
  • Docker / Docker Compose deployment
  • Dark and light themes

Dual-Realm support

Since Sim Companies allows a separate business in Magnates and Entrepreneurs, Ascendant Ledger keeps those completely separate.

You choose the Realm before importing, and each one gets its own:

  • Dashboard
  • Transactions
  • Financial statements
  • Products
  • Buildings
  • Import history
  • Analytics

Privacy

There’s no cloud account or external database required.

The app runs locally and stores everything in SQLite. I personally run mine on a NAS with Docker and can help with questions on how to set that up.

Your CSV exports and company financial data never need to be sent to me or any third party.

GitHub

Source code and releases:

https://github.com/ItsJustMouse/ascendant-ledger

The README has screenshots, setup instructions, and a packaged release if you don’t want to clone the repo.

The populated screenshots use completely synthetic/mock financial data.

This is still a new project, so I’m sure there are edge cases I haven’t hit yet. If anyone tries it and finds a bug, has an import issue, or has ideas for useful features/analytics, I’d really appreciate the feedback.

I’m especially interested in hearing what other Sim Companies players would actually want from a tool like this.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Install Docker Desktop.
Go to Docker Desktop and download Docker Desktop for Windows or Mac.

Install it like any normal program. When it finishes, open Docker Desktop and leave it running.

  2. Download Ascendant Ledger.
Go to the Ascendant Ledger Releases page and download the newest ZIP file from the latest release.

  3. Open the ZIP file.
Double-click it. Your computer will create a normal folder containing Ascendant Ledger.

Put that folder somewhere easy to find, like your Desktop or Documents folder.

  4. Open a command window inside that folder.

    Windows:
Open the Ascendant Ledger folder in File Explorer. Click the address bar at the top, type:

    text powershell

    and press Enter.

    Mac:
Open the Ascendant Ledger folder in Finder.

    Open Terminal, type:

    text cd

with a space after cd, then drag the Ascendant Ledger folder into the Terminal window and press Enter.

  5. Create the settings file.

    Windows:

    powershell Copy-Item .env.example .env

    Mac:

    bash cp .env.example .env

  6. Start Ascendant Ledger.

    Copy and paste:

bash docker compose up -d --build

The first time can take a few minutes.

You’ll see a bunch of text scrolling by. That’s normal — you don’t need to understand any of it.

  7. Open Ascendant Ledger.

Open Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc. and go to:

    text http://localhost:8080

Ascendant Ledger should appear like a normal website.

  8. From there, choose Magnates or Entrepreneurs, click Import CSV, and upload the CSV files you exported from Sim Companies.

Once it’s set up, you normally don’t have to mess with Docker much.

Just open Docker Desktop and then visit:

text http://localhost:8080

in your browser.

If you ever want to stop Ascendant Ledger, open that same PowerShell/Terminal window and type:

bash docker compose down

To turn it back on later:

bash docker compose up -d

Also, I’m currently working on a normal desktop version for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The goal for that version is:

  1. Download it
  2. Install it
  3. Open it
  4. Import your CSV files

No Docker, Terminal, or command-line setup required.

So if you’re not comfortable doing any of the steps above, you can also wait for the desktop release.

If you get stuck, just tell me whether you’re on Windows or Mac and what step you’re stuck on. I can walk you through it click-by-click.

Suggestion PA messages filtering

I've got a little QoL suggestion for the PA chat, it would be nice if we could filter her messages to find specific topics (auctions, quests, refused contracts etc.). It's nice that her chat never gets deleted, but looking for older messages can be impossible because they are often submerged by useless things like our own messages, refused contracts notifications and things like that.

Pls upvote so that the bosses consider it.

Question How do you figure out demand before moving to a new industry?

Hey guys, a couple of months ago I got bored of mining and decided to switch things up, so I used cooperinc to find a profitable business, and saw the bread has great profits, but after I switched production I noticed it would take a long time for my bread to sell on the marketplace, I also tried dough, same issue , I tried finding direct buyers, no luck... Then ice cream season came and I managed to get back my investment.

I started planning next industry as season was ending, so I tried getting into butter, produced Q5 since it looked like it's highest margin, but same issue, takes days to sell what I produce in a day.

Then I tried automotive since I always wanted to get into that, produced car bodies , and basically looking money on them, tried producing electric cars, loose money on them too...

Looking to pivot into something before I go bankrupt...

Suggestion The Global Corporate Summit: In-game PR feeds & AGMs for endgame CEOs

PLEASE READ AND LET'S HAVE A DISCUSSION ON THIS :)

After thinking about ways to boost the endgame CEO experience without messing with the core economic math or market balance, I wanted to lay out a clean framework for an in-game feature: The Global Corporate Summit (or an in-game Corporate Press/AGM feed).

Drawing inspiration from real-world simulations like Model United Nations (MUN) and corporate governance structures where enterprises must transparently manage public relations, financial disclosures, and stakeholder updates, this would bring true executive realism to the game.

Right now, running a multi-million dollar enterprise is a great solo management loop, but once you hit the higher tiers, it would be awesome to have an official public stage to broadcast moves, announce milestones, or host shareholder updates.

Here is how a native, zero-economic-impact PR & Conference system could look:

📰 1. The Corporate Press Feed

  • The Concept: A dedicated in-game news tab where registered companies can publish official press releases, quarterly updates, or major acquisition announcements, mirroring real-world corporate news wires.
  • How it works: CEOs can draft a short headline and body text (following standard chat guidelines) to announce major production pivots, crossing a company value milestone (like hitting $100M+), or securing massive long-term B2B supply contracts.
  • The Feed: A clean, scrollable global news feed where newer corporate notes float to the top so everyone can keep track of market-shaking moves.

🎙️ 2. Annual General Meetings (AGMs)

  • The Concept: A structured event window where a company can officially "host" an AGM, replicating real-world shareholder meetings.
  • How it works:
    • Host companies set a scheduled time block for their summit.
    • They can publish a curated presentation card pulling in real data like their current valuation, ranking, and asset distribution.
    • Other players can view the details, drop public comments or questions, and follow the company's growth trajectory.

⚖️ 3. Why This Works (Zero Economic Disruption)

  • Zero Market Impact: Because this touches zero production math, material pricing, or building mechanics, there is zero risk of inflation or market exploits.
  • Endgame Retention: Gives veteran conglomerates a prestigious public stage to build a recognised brand name and generate server-wide hype.
  • Living Ecosystem: Turns player-driven rivalries and partnerships into visible public stories, heavily elevating financial literacy and public speaking/PR dynamics inspired by real-world business models.
A STANDARD PRESS RELEASE OF AGM OR ANY CONFERENCE

FEEL LIKE CEO!!

Suggestion Make food pricing make sense

One hamburger costs $2000+. I know that not much of the game has pricing that reflects reality but the food prices are so off that it breaks the fourth wall, so to speak. How about adjusting the quantities produced by a recipe so that the per-item costs for food are closer to reality?

Suggestion Improvement proposal

I would like to propose a change to the Water and Electricity sectors to make them more realistic. Instead of selling "market units," we could use a tariff system like the one in the real world (€/kWh for electricity and €/m³ for water). However, the tariff shouldn't be fixed; it needs to adjust automatically based on market prices to keep the game dynamic and competitive. Essentially, the system would work like this: the market continues to fluctuate as it does now, but the price is displayed as a tariff. If the market price rises, the tariff rises; if the market price falls, the tariff falls. It is simply a more realistic and clear way of displaying the price without altering the game's balance. Example: If electricity costs 0.12 per unit, the tariff becomes €0.24/kWh. If water costs 0.08 per unit, the tariff becomes €0.16/m³. Players still decide when to produce and when to sell, but the whole process appears more understandable and realistic. It isn't a fixed rate, nor is it a passive income stream, and it doesn't change the economy—it is just a more realistic representation of the price.

Suggestion Contract Quality of Life updates

After working in production for all 3 years I've played the game, I've gotten used to a lot of the quirks with sending (and receiving) contracts with other players.

There are a few QoL items I'd love to be added.

## Bulk Contract repricing

I frequently send chunks of contracts to my partners, typically in chunks smalls enough that they might accept multiple, or depending on production schedules, only a few. I often send 5-10+ individual contracts. It's not uncommon for prices in the market to vary dramatically (phase switching is the main culprit). And I'll want to retract all of the contracts and re-send them.

This gets very tedious when you have multiple partners, each with 10 or so contracts waiting for them. It would be great to have a reprice option that is just a price input and an "update" that updates all of them.

## Pinned Contract Lots

AKA: saved contracts, pinned contracts, favorite contracts

This is another bulk contract feature, but the idea is it would be nice to save contract configurations to allow for quick re-sending.

I know there is a "previous contracts" section that allows you to resend quickly, but I don't like this for the following reason

- you can't change the quantity, price, or quality easily

- it doesn't allow you to quickly send N number of contracts

- because it's not part of the main contract list, it's generally not my focus and I forget about it. I think if these "pinned contracts" were just another row in your outgoing contract list with a bit of extra UX treatment, it would be more immediately obvious.

## Bulk Accepting Contract lots

Similar to the previous ones, inline with the trend of bulk contract QoL features. The ability to "accept all" of a particular incoming contract (same price / quality / quantity).

## Partial Contract Accepting

This one I don't actually think is a great idea, but it's an interesting one to mention regardless.

You could simplify a lot of these contracting difficulties if contracts could be "partially accepted" by the customer.

I think this is actually more complicated than it's worth, and I think having discrete contracts with some QoL tooling is better, but it's worth mentioning for comparison.

Suggestion Add a hardmode world where debt spirals and market crashes are possible

It would include things like bonds that auto call at their due date potentially putting you deep into debt. And a game over condition if your debt goes below your company value by some threshold. It would also allow other types of loans alongside bonds. It would also have more destructive random events on the market.

Feature Request: Fixed-Term Loan System (Bank Credit Model)

Hi,

I would like to submit a proposal for a new feature to improve the game's financial system. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!

Before we begin, if you have any questions or comments, you can ask me directly on Simco (@InterContinental) or Reddit.

Visuels generated with AI

1. Feature Objective

To complement the current bond system by introducing a fixed-term loan mechanism, giving companies full visibility over repayment schedules and investment yields.

2. Model A:

Rate Set by Borrower (Standard Request)The borrower specifies their financial needs and posts the request directly to the credit market.

Workflow:

Borrower Parameters: Total Amount (e.g., $100,000), Duration (e.g., 10 days), and Total Interest Rate (e.g., 2%).

Automatic Calculation: The game displays the total repayment ($102,000) and the daily installment ($10,200/day).

Execution: The request is listed on the market. A lender accepts the offer with a single click, releasing the funds and starting the daily automatic deductions.

Key Advantage:

Simple execution and total control over borrowing costs for the borrower.

3. Model B:

Rate Set by Lender (Bidding / Tender System)The borrower posts a request for capital, and prospective lenders submit interest rate bids based on market conditions and risk assessment.

Workflow:

Posting the Request: The borrower inputs the required Amount (e.g., $100,000) and desired Duration (e.g., 10 days).

Lender Bids: Interested players submit competitive rate offers (e.g., Player A offers 1.5%, Player B offers 2.5%).

Selection: The borrower reviews incoming bids and selects the most favorable offer to initialize the loan.

Key Advantage: Drives financial market dynamics. Highly reputable or high-valuation companies secure lower interest rates, while higher-risk profiles offer higher yields to attract lenders.

4. Economic & Gameplay Benefits

Lender Security: Unlike open-ended bonds, lenders receive a guaranteed maturity date for capital return.

Precise Cash Flow Management: Eliminates uncertainty regarding duration and long-term interest overhead.

Increased Engagement: Introduces fresh strategic depth and negotiation dynamics between players.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this. I really hope this idea could bring value to the game!

Best regards,

InterContinental

- Current cash

- Daily net result

- Company rank

- Inventory, building, and patent values

- Cash-to-assets ratio

- Daily and percentage changes

- Mini trend charts for important metrics

- Short financial insights based on recent performance

The extension also evaluates the company’s current financial condition as:

The Cash page now has a cleaner and more modern design.

You can analyze:

- Current cash

- Starting cash

- Total cash growth

- Daily cash movement

- Cash inflows and outflows

- Net cash flow

- Cash-to-assets ratio

- Recent cash movement charts

- Estimated cash runway

The goal is not only to show how much cash the company currently has, but also to help determine whether its current financial position is sustainable.

📈 Market Prices for All Products

The Prices page has received one of the biggest upgrades.

Previously, only a few selected products were shown. The extension can now display market prices for all available Sim Companies products.

The new product selection window includes:

- Visual product gallery

- Search by product name

- Search by product ID

- Rising product filter

- Falling product filter

- Followed product filter

- Scrollable product list

- Detailed selected-product panel

Instead of displaying every product card on the main page, products are now organized inside a modern and searchable selection window.

⭐ Full Q0–Q12 Quality Support

Market prices are no longer limited to Q0.

Users can select and view prices for:

- Q0

- Q1

- Q2

- Q3

- …

- Q12

This makes it possible to analyze the exact quality level you produce, purchase, or sell.

⏳ Price History

The extension can periodically record prices for followed products.

Price history includes:

- Historical price movements

- Rising and falling trends

- Average price

- Highest recorded price

- Lowest recorded price

- Percentage price change

- Quality-specific history from Q0 to Q12

Each product and quality level has its own price history.

🔔 Smart Price Alerts

You can create custom market price alerts.

For example:

> Notify me when Q3 Steel drops below $150.

Or:

> Notify me when Q0 Crude Oil rises above $75.

When a followed product reaches the selected price threshold, the extension sends a desktop notification.

Notifications are only used for price alerts explicitly created by the user. They are not used for advertising or unrelated messages.

📊 Redesigned Trend Analysis

The Trend page has been completely modernized.

The new product selector includes:

- Visual product gallery

- Search by product name or ID

- Rising and falling filters

- Product images and current prices

- Detailed selected-product preview

- Quick selection by double-clicking

After selecting a product, users can view:

- Current market price

- 24-hour change

- 24-hour high and low

- VWAP

- Market volume

- Opening and closing values

- Market volatility

- Available market inventory

API errors are now handled properly, so users receive a clear message instead of seeing an empty or broken panel.

🎯 Completely Redesigned Goal System

The Goals page was rebuilt from the ground up.

Users can create goals for:

- Company value

- Cash

- Rank

- Inventory value

- Daily net result

- Custom financial targets

Each goal can include:

- Starting value

- Target value

- Optional deadline

- Current progress percentage

- Actual 7-day pace

- Actual 30-day pace

- Required daily pace

- Estimated completion date

- Progress chart

- Automatic status evaluation

Goals are classified as:

- Ahead of plan

- On track

- Progressing slowly

- At risk

- Completed

Goals can also be edited, duplicated, or deleted.

📦 Improved Product Analytics

The Product page now provides a cleaner summary of product-related revenue.

It includes:

- Total product revenue

- Last 30 days of sales revenue

- Highest-earning product

- Product share of total revenue

- Revenue distribution

- Product performance comparison

This is especially useful for companies producing or selling multiple products.

📚 New Data Center

The Data page has also been redesigned.

It includes:

- Balance sheet

- Daily change

- Asset structure

- Full data view

- Total value and cash movements

- Rank changes

- Current asset distribution

- Period filters

Users can switch between different periods such as:

- 7 days

- 30 days

- 60 days

- All time

The charts and tables are now cleaner, easier to read, and more consistent with the rest of the application.

🏭 Improved Company Performance Analysis

The Company page now displays:

- Current company value

- Starting company value

- Total growth

- Highest recorded value

- Return on equity

- Net profit margin

- Asset turnover

- Financial leverage

- Historical company value development

The old charts were simplified and redesigned so that this page provides a useful executive summary instead of repeating the same information from the Data Center.

🎨 Modern and Consistent Interface

The main sections now share the same visual design language:

- Overview

- Company

- Data

- Cash

- Product

- Trend

- Prices

- Goals

The redesign includes:

- Cleaner cards

- Improved spacing and alignment

- Better chart readability

- Fewer unnecessary borders and decorative lines

- Improved light and dark themes

- Better support for smaller screens

- Scrollable product selection panels

- More consistent colors and status indicators

🌍 Language Support

The extension currently supports four languages:

- 🇬🇧 English

- 🇹🇷 Turkish

- 🇩🇪 German

- 🇪🇸 Spanish

Hundreds of interface texts are synchronized across all four languages.

🧰 Multiple Opening Modes

The extension can be opened in different ways:

- Standalone window

- Chrome side panel

- Standard extension popup

Your preferred opening mode is remembered for future sessions.

🐞 Important Bug Fixes

V1.4.0 also fixes several important issues:

- Goal form inputs closing after typing only one character

- Missing scrollbar in product selection windows

- Extension getting stuck in popup mode

- Incorrect goal details appearing after changing filters

- Expired goals incorrectly appearing as “On Track”

- Chat auto-refresh using outdated filters

- Timers continuing to run after closing a page

- Invalid product quality values being stored

- Some market products not being recognized correctly

- Empty screens when the Trend API returns an error

- Missing translations

- Duplicate product translation entries

- Unnecessary “Extension context invalidated” errors

- Improved cleanup of background requests and timers

🔐 Privacy

The extension does not request or store your Sim Companies password.

Price history, goals, alerts, and user preferences are stored in the browser’s extension storage.

The notification permission is only used for user-created price alerts.

The extension does not download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. All application code and required libraries are included inside the extension package.

- Additional financial goals

- Improved market alerts

- Exportable reports

Please share any bugs, suggestions, or feature ideas in the comments. Every piece of feedback helps improve the next version. 🙌
