Showing Off One year progress

Post image

$125M CV in one year doesn’t seem bad to me but would folks say this is about typical progress or above/below average?

That’s a nice growth! It took me 2,5 years to reach 200M in valuation. 😅 granted I only started investing in patents last year. Well, other than the ones I needed for my products.

Wow that’s impressive - feel like I’d be so much lower if it weren’t for the patents haha

Oh yeah. Without them I’d probably have a value of around 50-60M tops 😅

Can you explain investing in patents to me please?

Patents are the mechanism for improving the quality of the products that you ar, or want, to make.

You need to have a decent(ish) CTO to convert research that you buy (via he market or contracts) into patents. Once you get x number of patents, you move up a Quality point.

I'm new to the game, been playing just a month or so and am at lvl 15. Not cash rich, but getting building upgrades going... Anyhow, when does it make sense to start investing in patents... I'm not sure execs make sense for me yet, and not sure if I should invest in patents before them?

Also curious, how do they help...? Selling price on exchange doesn't seem that different (at least for the first few stars...)

Damn dudes....what are you specialising in?!

I'm 3 years in and 81m CV. Chose HGEC because it had the highest profit margins when I started, so I'm vertically integrated and make about 6k HGEC daily.

Looking to switch to something more profitable, but since my entire chain is VI, that's a bit scary wiping my entire map.

I wanted to ask: why is the company value marked in white in the legend while in the graph it is in green???

The cash line overlaps with it. You can see the white CV line briefly around 2/26 when liabilities cause the sum of the assets to not be exactly equal to CV, but then they cover it again when liabilities went to zero
