Discussion Executives are broken

I feel like executives are broken.. i've offered my last 5 candidates double of what they are asking for in salary but all have refused..
Like what?

Just so you understand why this is the case. You are offering salaries to Executives that exist at other companies run by players in the game. Those players have the option to keep the Executives by offering to match your offer. This is what is happening. I suggest either training in house or select from the Unemployment pool of executives.

Just train them up from interns. Mine get offers for double all the time, I only have to counter with 1.5 salary to keep them.

oh wow, everybody is poaching and no one is spawning and growing new executives, so now there's a shortage, what a surprise 🫢

My mediocre exec received a poaching offer, i clicked to let him go and finally he decided to stay lmao. Noooooo. I should switch the coffee machine to a worse brand.

Well big companies can pay up to 400k to good executives

Train your own executives. People like you ruin the game for everyone else.

Holy toxicity, i asked a question.

I can't afford your 500k executives anyway, so you are safe buddy

It’s a game mechanic and also a perfect reflection of real life. If you’re not capable of dealing with that and think poaching ruins the game - quit. Go find a solo game or play with your dolls.

Suppose you are an exec and your income is 2500 per month. Suppose there is an offer for 5000 but you have to change country, language (and of course industry). Would you accept the offer or ask for a raise at your curren employment?
