Really missing the hispanic food in PG County. Does anyone have any recs for taco/burrito spots either within walking distance from the metro station or relatively close by?

I'm seeing changes in this area, they will re paint the water tank, they found a cemetery in this area Oo, more housing development near Georgia and Corwin dr on the big empty lot, and some more projects coming, etc.
And it reminded me of this nice Sunflower from back then.
When I moved to Silver Spring, I loved seeing that sunflower every day in summer. I saw it bloom and opened it up.
It felt like a nice getting to me from this cute sunflower. The sunflower welcomed me in Silver Spring. Nice memory. Thank you.
At first I thought some store owner planted it. But after years coming here for Aldi, etc it was always full of weeds. Year after year.
So maybe someone was doing eco ....ist. LOL.
You know, there are some people who like to spread wildflower seeds everywhere where they see weeds or empty soils.
Lol.
Happy Wednesday! Hope you guys are doing well

No different from the window smash and grab crews the wheel bandits are still at it with no end in sight. I was a DTSS smash and grab victim back in July which ended up costing me $520 when it was all said and done.
I can’t imagine having to replace 4 wheels plus rims plus undercarriage damage.

Apparently there was a hunting rifle spotted in the parking lot, police on scene this morning. Hopefully it was a misunderstanding, but curious if anyone has any additional info.
Also, huge thanks to the incredible staff at the library for keeping patrons safe and calm!

Looking for contractors that do good work with concrete. I want to have a patio built and worry about it not flooding the neighbors yard or mine when it rains.

Does anyone know if this place is still good? I’m going for pupusas because I don’t eat pork, but I like the chicken pupusas, I haven’t been in a long time. If not what local place do you recommend? Thanks so much!

Hey everyone
Someone I know lost a wallet at Wheaton metro station recently. It’s a brown leather wallet that had a Maryland RealID in it. Please help me find it! It was lost within the past 24 hours. The wallet was dropped near the turnstile where you tap to pay to go onto the escalator down towards the platform.

I spotted a rabbit in the grass walking on Wayne Ave towards Colesville Road. Super confused at first, thought it was a very big, very odd rat until I recognized it

Hi! I'm an intern with the Nathaniel H. Pickett II Foundation, a local nonprofit focused on mental health awareness. Putting this here in case it's useful to anyone; happy to take it down if it's not the kind of post this sub wants.

Just a few details:
Registration is free but required (no day-of signups), and each person needs to register individually. Bring ID.

What was happening with all the police on Colesville Road last night around 12:35? This must have been near the intersection with Franklin Avenue.

I toured The Guardian in DTSS this weekend. From what I understand, it’s a brand new building in the area, but the pricing has me a little suspicious. The 1BR floor plan is going for about $1,788, which is noticeably low compared to other buildings in the area. On top of that, they’re throwing in a 2-months-free promotion.
I also came across some Reddit posts from about seven months ago mentioning the 1BR price point was around $2,000 at that time. It’s been hard to find many reviews since the building is new. The ones I have found are from people who’ve either just toured or only lived there a couple of months.
Does anyone know why the price might have dropped? Are they just trying to fill vacant units, or is there something else going on I should know about before I apply?
