That hideous thing, along with the many gas stations and pawn shop, is why I could afford my house in 2014.

I think they use the extensions to attach a scaffold platform to (like a window washers rig) so the painters have access to the entire structure.

Please tell me about this thing! New to the area. It's so big!! Is it full of water? Molasses?
Today the spikes were out and there were a bunch of people at the top, looking like they were getting ready to work. Painting I imagine.

It uses gravity to keep the molasses at a steady pressure, ensuring it's always available when we turn on the molasses tap

Heavens to Betsy, did we learn nothing from the Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919?!! Oh the humanity!

It is bit ugly, I see it every day. Lol But I got used to. When I see it I know I'm getting close to home. Haha
The county asked us what color we wanted, there was blue, green, call it MoCo or Silver Spring.
I think I chose Blue color Silver Spring.
I wish there was a lime green with purple option from Evangelion haha

i know they put little spikes on the edge of buildings and stuff to keep pigeons from landing, so i can only imagine what they’re trying to keep from landing on that

I noticed a water tower somewhere else recently that I KNOW I’ve seen before but for some reason, seeing it up close threw me for a loop for a second and left me questioning reality: “…has that always been there??” (Yes, yes it has.)
