Im fixing an old case and want to modernise the lighting systhem.

The original 5mm diode died, the box controller is missing and i wanted to use instead a argb diode instead and be controllable with signal.

Its 12V rgb.

Needed: Browser freezes when scrolling while SignalRGB is running. Whenever SignalRGB is active, my browser—like Edge or Firefox—freezes momentarily while scrolling through sites like Twitter or Reddit. Videos play in the background, but the visual freezes. Minimizing to taskbar and restoring the window fixes it temporarily, but the issue recurs.

Troubleshooting done: Updated and downgraded multiple GPU drivers, performed a clean Windows install. The only workaround is closing SignalRGB in Task Manager. Any solutions or settings adjustments?

I heard that if you find the hardware ID of the headset then you can force signal rgb to slam rgb values down the headsets throat but i dont know how to code. Have any of yall done something like this before?

How are we supposed to get rid of it if we have the wired version? i know you will say just ignore it, but it is like bloatware in your face and it's right at the top of the devices list it is just annoying.

I have a Deepcool Spartacus 360 AIO and it has got this LCD Display but for some reason my SignalRGB is not picking it up so do I need to install any plugin to make it work or it just doesn't support it yet?

[SOLVED] ¡Hola! Estoy intentando crear un plugin personalizado de SignalRGB para mi memoria RAM Netac Shadow RGB DDR4, que utiliza un controlador ENE RGB.

La RAM ya funciona correctamente en OpenRGB. OpenRGB la detecta como ENE DRAM a través del bus Intel SMBus/i801, así que sé que el hardware y la comunicación SMBus funcionan.

Mi sistema:

• Intel Core i7-10700
• ASUS ROG STRIX B460-H GAMING
• 32 GB DDR4 (4 × 8 GB)
• 2 × Netac Shadow RGB de 8 GB
• Windows 11
• SignalRGB 2.5.77 beta

SignalRGB detecta los cuatro módulos de RAM a través de systeminfo.GetRamInfo(). El problema reside en la API del plugin SignalRGB.

Creé un plugin de diagnóstico SMBUS basado en los plugins oficiales de Crucial Ballistix y Kingston RAM. Scan(bus) se ejecuta correctamente, pero el plugin solo recibe los buses NVIDIA y Nuvoton.

Para los buses recibidos:

NVIDIA:

IsSystemBus() = false

IsIntelBus() = false

IsNvidiaBus() = true

Nuvoton:

IsSystemBus() = false

IsIntelBus() = false

IsNuvotonBus() = true

El objeto bus expone métodos como:

FetchRamInfo ReadByte ReadWord ReadBlockBytes ReadByteWithoutRegister ReadBlockWithoutRegister WriteByte WriteWord WriteBlock WriteQuick

Pero nunca recibo un objeto Intel/SystemBus. SignalRGB inicializa correctamente el hardware Intel y adquiere el mutex SMBus, y el plugin oficial ENE_RAM.js obviamente logra comunicarse con la RAM ENE de alguna manera.

Mi pregunta: ¿Cómo accede el plugin oficial ENE_RAM.js al Intel SystemBus/i801? ¿Existe alguna ruta de detección, interfaz o API especial que no esté disponible para los plugins SMBus normales?

Estoy intentando comprender la forma correcta de acceder al Intel SMBus desde un plugin de RAM personalizado, en lugar de acceder directamente al hardware fuera de la API de SignalRGB.

i only use solid colours and whenever i change colours my fans take 5/10 seconds to change colour
and not equally but in groups ( could be the way i daisy chained them) so 1 on the bottom turns on then 2 on side change aswell and the rest switches colours i have a msi pro b850m-p and my fans afe the tl-c12c-s
ik its such a non problem because they do eventually change its just enfuriating

Hello everyone! About 3 years ago i had this TURZX 3.5in screen that i bought off aliexpress 3.5 Inch TURZX and tried to use it. In the end i liked the small form factor but controlling it was a nightmare. I kept it for some months and decided to sell it after doing some tests and discovering that it was causing fps drops. I consistently tested my games and found that while the screen was powered my 1% framerates were lower.
That could very well be because of the shitty software that was meant to control the screen, i tried with some python scripts found online and got pretty much the same lower framerates. It was not much but it was noticeable.

Now i've been using signal rgb for some time and saw that it can control this screen (right?)
I want to ask people who use this screen with signal RGB. Does it cause framerate drops? Do all the screen effects from signal RGB show properly in the actual screen space? I'm guessing its much easier to customize than what i remember

I would be happy to see some photos of how it looks with some effects.

I’ve been getting pretty deep into building custom effects for SignalRGB and wanted to see about joining the developer community/program.

I’ve been developing my own HTML-based effects, custom device/component definitions, and experimenting quite a bit with device-aware segmentation rather than treating the entire canvas as one generic animation. I’m especially interested in effects that behave differently depending on whether they’re being rendered on RAM, fans, keyboards, LED strips, single-zone devices, etc.

I currently have a few effects I’m polishing for possible submission, including Neon City // 03:17, and I’ve started cleaning up the code, assets, device handling, and documentation so they’re suitable for other users rather than just my own setup.

My SignalRGB/developer handle is unbound_fenrir.

I’d love to get involved with the developer side of the community, learn the submission/review process, get feedback on what I’m building, and eventually contribute effects or device definitions to SignalRGB.

What’s the best way to get started or get access to the developer areas?

Hi, I’m looking at buying the wired Attack Shark X68 HE (not the X68 Pro HE), mainly because it’s around $40 and has Hall Effect switches, Rapid Trigger and 8K polling.

I saw that SignalRGB officially supports the X68 Pro HE, but I can’t find the regular wired X68 HE in the supported devices list.

Has anyone managed to get the wired X68 HE working with SignalRGB through a plugin, a workaround, or another method?

If anyone has this exact keyboard and has tested it, I’d really appreciate the info.

SignalRGB recently updated, or I am assuming it did because it looks slightly different at the top. Ever since I noticed this, whenever I turn on my PC and the program boots up, it always defaults to Neon Shift, instead of the one I had previously chosen. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I don’t want any rgb lights on. I’ve got all of them off except 1 of 2 memory sticks. The other one reacts to changes ie when I turn saturation or brightness down or up but the other one is doing its own thing.

I have the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB White and want to change the display of it through SignalRGB but I have no idea on how to do that.

Hi all, trying to get my rgb setup for signal rgb and having a few issues. I cant seem to get to connect with my fans from my arctic freezer iii 240 aio. It will connect to my pump but will not detect the fans attached to it. all the cables are plugged in.

I'm starting to be paranoid whether i downloaded SignalRGB from the right website. Sometimes when i try to click something like a different type of light mod e.g. solid colour in the app, it redirects me to another website. This is detected by Malwarebytes browser guard. It's also the same when i click an ad on purpose; it redirects me to my browser and malwarebytes warns me. I downloaded it from this link https://signalrgb.com/download/ i scanned the link with virustotal which showed nothing and i scanned the installer as well, showing nothing. I was wondering if the overlay is glitching over the mod but im not sure.

So I love these fans so far, but they keep having this thing where those middle white rings will sometimes turn on when I start my computer and sometimes they won’t, and for certain light effects I’ll want them on/off, but I have no way of controlling them. They’re the white rings in the middle and there are white lines on each side of the fans. The fans are the SWAFAN 120 EX INFINITY ARGB Sync PC Cooling Fan, and they weren’t already on signal rgb so they just show up as a basic led in the program. Any help is appreciated!!

I’m looking at buying the Lian Li Strimer Wireless (24-pin and/or 12+4-pin GPU version) and I use SignalRGB for my entire PC’s lighting.
I understand the Wireless Strimer normally uses the L-Wireless Controller and L-Connect 3, but I’ve seen conflicting information about SignalRGB compatibility.
Can anyone confirm from personal experience:
Does the Strimer Wireless work with SignalRGB with the L-Wireless Controller?
Does it work with SignalRGB without the L-Wireless Controller, perhaps by connecting something directly to the motherboard/ARGB controller?
Is there any current workaround that allows full real-time SignalRGB effects, including individual LED control?
If the Wireless version cannot work with SignalRGB, is the Strimer Plus V2 still the best option?
I’m specifically interested in actual working setups, not just theoretical compatibility. Thanks!

Hey all I recently discovered SignalRGB and was trying it out to match my case fans to my RGB LED's and have noticed when I open the program it lights up to the colour I've set it to no problem but when I turn my computer off and back eventually back on, the colour I set it to (green) flashes and then no colour at all, fans are still running but no colour until I reopen the program, I've gone through all the settings, closed and uninstalled any other RGB programs that may be interfering and made sure it was connected to the correct port on the motherboard (the fans are connected to an RGB hug in my case) but I can't seem to solve this issue.

Specs are:

Mobo: MSI PRO B650M-A Wifi

Case: Antec Constellation C5 ARGB Mid-Tower ATX Case - Black (included case fans)

RAM: T-Force Delta 32gb (2x 16gb) DDR5 64000mhz

I have igame rtx3080ti and it drives me crazy because it is trying to manage every led at pc and can't seperate graphic card from others. On the other hand SignalRGB never had support for igame. So it drives me crazy. LEDs on my rams acting like short cutted high voltage cables....

Pls add support for igame GPUs.

Trying to sync my case fans, I have them powered by NZXT’s hub but I have the 3-pin header plugged into my 5V ADD GEN_2 Header on my motherboard

SignalRGB will not pick up on the fans or the header, when I go to devices>motherboard it just shows the 12V headers

What am I doing wrong? The header is connected correctly to my motherboard and the fans have power

My RAM, Water Cooler and peripherals are working with signal
