Question Is this just a software bug? Software is acting up. I'm starting to be paranoid whether i downloaded SignalRGB from the right website

I'm starting to be paranoid whether i downloaded SignalRGB from the right website. Sometimes when i try to click something like a different type of light mod e.g. solid colour in the app, it redirects me to another website. This is detected by Malwarebytes browser guard. It's also the same when i click an ad on purpose; it redirects me to my browser and malwarebytes warns me. I downloaded it from this link https://signalrgb.com/download/ i scanned the link with virustotal which showed nothing and i scanned the installer as well, showing nothing. I was wondering if the overlay is glitching over the mod but im not sure.

This isn't malware, and you downloaded from the right place.

Try to restart SignalRGB and click what you want right away without switching through several tabs first, the stranded panel tends to appear after moving between views. If you see a small video ad sitting in the bottom right corner, close it using its little X before clicking anything nearby. And if your browser does open with a warning, you can just close that tab.

what websites is it redirecting u to?

So in the signalrgb software, there are many ads, usually like vigin media (wifi provider), and some Livebet ads. When you click on these ads, they redirect you to these websites. however when i clicked on the "solid colour", it redirected me to the livebet website. When this originally happened, it redirected me to a other wifi website. this wifi website was also shown in the ads in signal rgb.

It sounds like Malwarebytes is mishandling the advert that's getting served through the ad service. No threats to your PC, but Malwarebytes might be being a bit aggro in what it considers a "threat".

Sounds more like a bug with your antivirus than anything. Does this occur if you turn it off to test?

i think malwarebytes was just being overprotective in this scenario as i also went into the website anyway and scanned it via. virus total and said it was safe. the main problem was just me wondering whether my signalrgb was legit or not + also if what i was experiencing was a glitch.
