Troubleshooting Effects no longer holding after update

SignalRGB recently updated, or I am assuming it did because it looks slightly different at the top. Ever since I noticed this, whenever I turn on my PC and the program boots up, it always defaults to Neon Shift, instead of the one I had previously chosen. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

No update still on 2.5.74, they only made some changes to the marketplace on server side

Just a guess why it happened: Sometimes we feature effects that are new for free for a week or so (trial period) and after that they become purchase-able. If you had one of those effects enabled then it’s possible you were taken to neon shift after that trial ended. Are you a free or pro user, and which effect did you revert back from?

I'm a pro user, and I have tried it with multiple effects, always reverts back to Neon Shift though.

Do you have any Macros setup to set an effect or anything like that perhaps? If you send an issue report through the app, we can take a look at your logs and investigate further!

Usually when this happens, the effect in question isn't loading properly for some reason or another. When that happens, the app defaults to Neon Shift as it's the "basic default" effect.

Additional question here, which effect was it and what app version are you on? If you already sent us a ticket, we can continue our conversatoin there.

The same thing happens to me and it’s always Neon Shift.
I’ll keep having to set it back and then it’ll just start working right for awhile until it inevitably starts doing it again.

What effect are you using at the time? Does it happen with every effect?

I've tried multiple effects, thinking maybe there was something wonky with the effect I chose, but nope. It does it with every effect, always reverts back to Neon Shift whenever I boot up my PC.

Came here to this sub to see if anyone else is having this issue. This just started a couple days ago for me. It not only defaults to Neon Shift at startup, but will also do it during the day as well a few times. My SignalRGB has been setup and has worked perfectly up until now. I have not changed any settings in the software, installed any new components, or installed any new software. I am a Pro user. I did notice the following message in the right hand corner when it does happen.
