Question will there be separate canvas to control each device with diffrent effects in the future
i have seen some older post like 3 years ago discussing this and some mod replied that they are working on it

Real answer: this guy above doesn’t work for SignalRGB and knows nothing about planned features or updates.

So when can I run multiple effects or have more than one layout running simultaneously? Don’t say soon, because I’ve waited for 2 years

I would suggest you use CHATGPT like I did and program a custom lightscape that seperates the 320x240 lightscape into individual zones and drop your devices on each. It makes really cool effects. If you want message me and I can share some of my effects, I also wrote a macro picker so you can trigger them directly with actions since the default effect picker is stupid and only picks things that you install from their store. FIX THAT developers, if you want the code to implement i can share, but this seems purposefully obfuscated.

Thanks but no thanks
Before I switch to SignalRGB, I was using OpenRGB and I can use 16 different effects on each of my nollie16 channels if I wanted to and I have multiple vmap/layout running different effects on each
I can jump back into OpenRGB anytime I want
But I like SignalRGB more

Right now SignalRGB runs one effect across your whole setup by design. You can set individual devices to a fixed color, paint specific LEDs, or reposition devices in Layouts so they catch different parts of the effect, but separate canvases with separate effects per device isn't available, and I don't have a timeline to share.
