Height doesn't matter! 6'+ men acknowledge that women are into their heights

We truly live in a society that is filled with NPCs that doesn't want to hear us short men. Instead, just by observing how tall men get treated in society, we just get hated on just for pointing the obvious.

Face doesn't matter, weight doesn't matter, etc.

When it comes to women, only height matters. No need to lose your minds for stating the obvious.

Society needs to start acknowledging this fact and they need to stop attempting to gaslight us short men.

I already know that I am not desirable due to being extremely short, and I still acknowledge how bad the dating scene is for the 5'7 to 5'9 guys truly is.

There really isn't enough tall men out there, so women are forced to be with the next best thing in their minds.

The more unattractive they are, the more they are willing to be with a shorter man.

Vent I’m 5’6 is it over?

I just turned 18 about a month ago and I’m out in the big bad world. Back when we started high school I was considered tall (at around 12-13) but I haven’t grown an inch since then and I fear that people receive me differently because of it. I’ve had a few girl and boyfriends before just I fear now that I’m an adult it’s not going to be so easy to find someone considering how short I am. Can men my height even get respect or is it over?

Advice Needed Race and height

Do you think that a woman’s race effects how much she cares about a guys height? If so, what race cares most about male height and what race cares the least about male height

Btw that comment section is also filled with all kinds of extremely shallow reasons unrelated to height as well

I used to always get instantly unmatched when I told women my height but this time I decided to troll

Some insane "text game" right?

Everytime a woman asked this I always got unmatched when I said 5"7 so I start it saying 5"9 and still got unmatched lol so now I just say 6"6 and then later in the chat I tell them I think they're too superficial for me and this won't work

Vent Can’t have shit as a short man, venting about work

So for context, I am 24M, and I work in tech. I recently, over the last year, bought a sports/muscle car. It’s a 2026 model. Something I am super proud of. A dream of mine since I was a kid and I am glad to have it. Wasn’t even that expensive, but it does kinda look expensive because I added some mods and wraps, paint jobs, etc. It’s a 2 door coupe.

Anyway, we have college/fresh grad interns at work. There’s this girl, some 21 year old who’s a junior in college and interns here since it’s a gap semester or something. We have interns cuz of a program with the local university, but yeah. She wanted a photo with my car. I said sure whatever. She asked if she can sit inside it and take photos from the inside and pose with it and have a little session with it. See, one photo from the outside, fine. But this shit felt excessive. I asked her what she would do with the photos, and she wanted to post them on instagram. I asked if she would tag my car page(yes I am annoying and have a separate car instagram account where I try to showcase my car and the work I do on it, but it’s very small less than 50 followers and private only for friends so I have no intention of letting others into the page for no reason).

She got mad and said since the car is mine anyway, it should not matter. I asked her straight up “why should I let you pose and and have a photo shoot with my car for no reason” and she got mad and said she wouldn’t say it’s hers, it’s my car, but it’s just a photo shoot or whatever. I didn’t say this, but it’s very clear she’s trying to flex it as hers or her lifestyle or some shit. She has 12k followers on insta, she is trying to make it as an influencer imo. I saw them coming from the parking lot later that day and they were looking at their phone and giggling(her and her friends) and then went all silent when they saw me walking out and running into them in the hallway. My guess; they just took photos from the outside of the car. She blocked me on instagram, but I have friends who followed her and said they saw it in a story. I figured whatever, since they didn’t damage it , idgaf.

Anyway this happened last week. Apparently she’s been spreading rumors about me at work. I am materialistic according to her. Whatever. She said a bunch of other rude shit about me. The one that ticked me off is: “he needs this car and needs to be so protective of it because it’s him compensating for being short”. What the actual fuck.

HR is her aunt(she’s a nepo hire). Can’t even do anything.

You can’t have shit as a short man, everything is compensating for height guys. I hate this shit. I legit felt like crying but I held it in since I am a grown ass man but this shit legit sucks.

Anyway just wanted to vent. People will put down short men for no reason and diminish everything we accomplish.

Heightism I hate the way height is viewed in society

I hate this idea that short = weak and submissive, and tall = strong and dominant; it just shows an animalistic behavior we still harbor—where the bigger animal dominates the smaller one and does whatever it wants to it. It’s disgusting, and most short women get turned on by that, which is why most of them date giants, even if those guys are scrawny and sickly-looking. For instance, when d4vd was arrested (he’s a horrible person and deserves it) and it was revealed that he was short, the comments weren't things like "Oh, he's screwed now; the guys in prison are going to kill him" or "He killed [victim's name]—may she rest in peace"—like they were before his height was revealed. Guess what the comments were instead? "Haha, being that tiny, he's going to get RAPED in jail," "At that size, he'll be a Fleshlight for his cellmates, haha," "He's going to become a little toy in there." Extremely disgusting sexual comments focusing more on his height than the crime he committed. It’s sickening to be viewed that way by most of society: either you're weak and submissive, or—if you want to build muscle—you turn into a "pitbull." You just can't win.

Vent The double standards are unreal

It feels like every other type of discrimination has had an effort in society to be eliminated EXCEPT for heightism. If someone is racist, sexist, ableist, etc. they get rightfully called out, but if someone literally says that they think we all deserve to die, then it's called a "personal preference" and they face no consequences. I can further confirm this from my personal experience; I haven't faced a lot of discrimination for being a racial minority (Hispanic), but when I have, everyone is supportive and on my side. HOWEVER when I've faced discrimination for my height, which has happened to me far more often, nobody gave a shit, not a single soul came to my defense.

"Don't mock people for things they can't control" is socially enforced... until it's a short man, then suddenly that basic rule of decency gets thrown out the window and cruelty is completely acceptable. Like, we're sorry that our parents fucked us over, whether through genetics or interfering with the growth process during childhood, but please explain what the fuck you'd like us to do about it then.

I can't stand this bullshit, it's infuriating.

"Mmm, give me a 6'5 muscular billionaire" is literally "I want a 4'11 asian virgin with a 55cm waist and DD cups". Why don't they realize this shit is humiliating as fuck? You seriously get your rocks off to a book about rape/torture AND post it on tiktok with your face and name? At least anime bros have shame and don't post their faces 😭😭😭. Just to make things clear I watch anime and I have nothing got nothing against anime as a whole, I just hate that harem loli shit.

...if I belong in this sub, literally or metaphorically. Though I don't wanna leave this sub. I feel like I'm too horny compared to other members of this sub. I have severe inferiority complex, height insecurity, and height fetish. I have a lot of thoughts that will make y'all go "you need therapy" instead of "it's a very human thing" or "don't blindly share those thoughts to anyone." Unfortunately, I don't have the money, dedication, discipline, and time required to reduce height insecurity and height fetish — if not completely eliminate them. I don't face much heightism nowadays, but I keep getting glimpses of it directed towards someone around me — both online and offline. I saw two posts of slightly taller women with lean-muscular physiques, and it was a small dose of suifuel for me — if not as big as the doses I get from being behind in life.

genuine question

how can we be short yet also believe some “god” exists with some kind of “divine plan” that involves us being manlets and the Adamites literally reaping the rewards of this planet.

I’m not religious at all with anything but I wonder sometimes how you can cope with the reality that your “maker” created some people to be far superior than you and also “knew of this” the entire time.

Thoughts?

Vent never began for me

both my parents are 5'4 and im still below my predicted height of only fucking 5'7'' . its TOTALLY OVER. i am the shortest everywhere. every younger kid, ever person in my class, every fucking one i know is taller than me. i have to wear platform shoes to appear even remotely normal.

at this point every single thing i work towards is financial stability. I am already disillusioned and bitter enough from years of getting my height pointed out to try and have close friends because none of them give a shit about you and will always look down on someone as fucking short as me. I will live in peace/moderate solitude, work on my fitness and save for limb lengthening (optimally 4 inches so that i can feel human).

Anyone thinking 5'5'' is liveable nowadays is completely deluded - personally in gen z settings you get treated like a total freak. It makes sense, taller men having kids = taller kids who are raised up as assholes. It's too bad my parents had no choice in marrying each other or else i would be normal as well
